Fantastic place

This place is like a spa. So clean and well maintained, quite safe and well placed to walk up the Tor or into town. Lovely friendly owners. Will def be back.

Lovely location but not for us

Beautiful location and well maintained site with modern, spotless facilities. However it was just a bit of a weird place - very regimented. We had booked a superior pitch but were given a regular one. When we queried this with the lady on reception, she just shrugged her shoulders and said there was nothing she could do, and didn't offer any solution or refund on the additional price we'd paid. We stayed in the Walnut Circle and had a big pitch but it wasn't very private. We went to get breakfast at the pop up cafe and despite being advertised as serving until 10:30, we were told they finished at 10 when we arrived very hungry at 10:03. Lovely huge field for dogs to exercise off lead but bizarrely, they only allow two dogs at a time, as another resident pointed out to us when we tried to let our dog in for a run. Could be such a great site if they relaxed a bit!

Hi Natalie, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience didn’t fully meet your expectations. Just to clarify a few points: the pitch you originally booked was a Super B pitch. (We offer Standard, Super B, Super A, and Premier pitches, but not “Superior.”) A few days before your arrival, we noticed a one-night gap on a Premier pitch and upgraded you free of charge. This is something we sometimes do to make the best use of our availability, and, as this upgrade was to one of our most popular Premier pitches, we hope it added to your stay. We’re also sorry you missed breakfast on the Monday. To confirm, our Breakfast Club runs six mornings a week (Monday to Saturday), from 1st April to 30th September. The times are 9–10am Monday to Friday, and 9–10.30am on Saturdays. This information is listed on our website and in the Welcome booklet. Finally, regarding the dog facilities: there are no restrictions on the number of dogs allowed in either the large dog field or the smaller dog walk. It sounds like you may have been given incorrect information by another guest, and we’re sorry for any confusion this caused. A lovely campsite to visit Glastonbury

An excellent campsite in a great location. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

Fantastically well designed site

This sight is a gem! Everything has been very well thought through, especially if you travel with a dog. The site is beautifully landscaped, and has lots of greenery and space. The facilities are modern and kept spotless and there is a well stocked shop on site. The staff are all friendly, upbeat and professional. There is a massive, secure dog field with a dog wash and plenty of walks straight from site. The approach to the site is pretty straightforward, the last mile or so being a narrowish but very quiet road. The vibe of the site is peaceful and most people staying were individual couples. All in all, a wonderful place to stay.

Perfect stay

Just come back from a wonderful 3 night break at Old Oaks. Everything was so very well organised, site is a complete gem. Will definitely return.

Short stay

Excellent facilities, cleanliness and onsite hot food vendors. Paul and Michele couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Good location close to the Tor.

This campsite is absolutely perfect

This site is absolutely perfect, the facilities are probably the best we have seen so far and they were kept spotless. We enjoyed playing Scrabble in the newly refurbished lounge area. We had a wonderful 3 days and could not find a fault with anything. Would definitely visit again in the summer.

A fantastic site!

This is an amazing site with beautiful, warm and clean facilities. The pitch was level and private as well planted. There is a lovely shop on site and a pizza van in the evening. A lounge and bar area for people to use. Well organised and welcoming at the site.

Lovely stay

Amazing campsite, lovely welcome by a gentleman who showed us to our pitch. Our pitch had hedges either side and a minute walk from the showers and other facilities, which were incredibly clean and extremely well maintained. The campsite was immaculate, grass cut, flowers beautiful and hedges for boundaries between pitches. There was a customers lounge with dartboard, pool table, fridge, TV and honesty bar, perfect for relaxing and having a drink with others. Homemade pizzas cooked on the family run van were to die for! Shop well stocked and staff couldn't do enough for you. We had a lovely walk around the campsite lake where you could fish and there were well kept chickens. Glastonbury Tor was a short walk from the campsite gate, incredible site, a must see! Glastonbury town slightly longer walk from the site, however a lovely town to visit. We would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again.

It was a pleasure to stay there especially with my dog. Great facilities for me and amazing facilities and walks for my dog. Would definitely recommend it and I look forward to returning again soon. Thank you.

Wow

We were looking for a great site for our short break and settled on this one hoping it was as good as the reviews suggested. Wow, were we surprised when it turned out to be better than expected, by a very long way. It is exceptional, from the location to the staff, everything was spot on. The facilities and cleanliness are second to none, I've stayed in nice hotels which weren't as clean as this site. If you take a dog, you are in for a treat, the dog walking areas are spotless and like a bowling green, with a dog pond and shower room too. It's hard to describe exactly how good this place is. If you are thinking about it, do it, you won't be disappointed. Great pitch sizes too.

Excellent site, very welcoming, clean and tidy with first class facilities will definitely be back.

Stunning location

Stunning location and a beautiful, well kept site with fantastic facilities. Bathrooms/showers are the best I have seen as yet. Not much more could do to improve them. They also have breakfast club and evening meals that are different each night if you do wish not to cook. The pitches are kept immaculate, they are large with good waste facilities too. If you wish to walk into Glastonbury, be prepared for a steep hill climb which leads to the tor. Well worth the walk.

What a little gem

One of the best campsites I've stayed at in 40 years of camping/motorhoming holidays. If you don't like or appreciate the wonders of wildlife, enjoy the company of like-minded lovely people or enjoy helpful and good-humoured staff with no noisy children and wonderful facilities with 5 star facilities for your beloved dogs in a peaceful location, then this isn't for you! We can't wait to return, thank you.

Perfect site for us

This site was beautiful, peaceful and immaculate. The pitches and landscaping were amazing and the food was lovely. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

First class staff, facilities and location

Excellent, one of the best kept sites we have stayed at. The views around were fantastic and the owls at night were just fab. Loads of room and good walks around including up to the Tor. Will definitely stay again.

Fabulous!!

Wonderful park! The owners have thought of absolutely everything... facilities were as good as our local spa! The Tor is a short walk from the site, the onsite catering was absolutely incredible. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
