Cliff Farm Holidays is a friendly family-run caravan site that also has a couple of lovely glamping options. In the heart of Ryedale and just three miles from the quaint village of Pickering, gateway to the North Yorkshire Moors, a Dark Sky Reserve, this is a perfect retreat for those looking for a bit of peace and quiet. There are hardstanding electric pitches for caravans, a static caravan holiday home and a camping barn for larger groups.

First trip ever in my new campervan. Simon was really helpful. He took time to explain everything. The site was just what we wanted. Lovely to be on a working farm and to watch the young calves play, right next to where you wash up. Will definitely come here again.
A wonderful stay at this beautiful, peaceful site.

A lovely clean site in a peaceful setting. 3 good walks around the site for our 4 legged family members, hot showers in a spot less shower block for the grown ups. Lots to do around the area. We recommend Thomas’s bakery & butchers in Helmsley and the local Spar at the petrol station just outside Pickering 5 minutes from the site. Dalby Forest is great for exploring the outdoors and walking dogs. Sandsend has some seasonal dog restrictions but is a good beach for walks. We’re looking forward to returning

Family run site, excellent stay, toilets and showers always clean. Peaceful, the only noise we had were the cows and that didn't bother us. Good walks/dog walks, well signposted around the fields, maybe a little muddy if damp and wet weather. Great pitch size with wonderful views. All together, giving a great weekend.
Just nice and out the way

As the title says, it's just a nice peaceful site, out of the way of the rush. Few quaint little little villages dotted around you, cafe's, streams, walks in the country, sheep.
Lovely and peaceful, picturesque site

Lovely quiet campsite with friendly and helpful staff. Very good value for money. The toilets and shower block were extremely clean and modern, and always empty when I used them which was great! The site is a short drive to Pickering and Kirkbymoorside. There is a bus from Stannington which is about a 15 minute walk down a long lane to the main road, which is a pleasant walk during the day but pitch black at night. Highly recommended site.

We were met by Simon who sorted us out with an electric card. Told us about the facilities on site, walks around the farm land and showed us to our pitch. Everywhere was clean and well maintained, and there were even fresh eggs to buy! We will definitely return and highly recommend to everyone 🥰

Cliff Farm is a lovely campsite. Great views, very friendly staff. The only problem we had was connecting to the water tap, even though we have a long hose to fill up with, it still wouldn't reach the tap. We had to move the van as near to the tap without parking on the grass to fill up the van. Could do with more taps located around the campsite but other than that, everything was great. Would definitely go back there again or recommend to others.

As newbie's to motor homing, it was a great feeling of turning up at this site, we needed a lot of help (thank you Simon). The toilets/showers were very clean and warm, great facilities. Thanks, Rob and Hannah. We will be back.

Great welcome when we arrived from Simon, who told us where everything could be found and also gave us the name of a lovely pub to go for a meal on the Saturday night - The Moor Inn, 10 mins drive away. The shower and toilet block was lovely and warm, with underfloor heating and was spotlessly clean. We also had a farm tour on the Saturday by the farm owner, Robert, and his son, which was great. Got to hear first hand the things a farmer's life entails. It was very interesting. Our visit was February so a very cold weekend but that didn't stop us enjoying our stay. Will definitely go back in the summer to stay again as so close to lots of places to visit.

The location was great for a peaceful country stay and walks. The farm owner and his family were lovely and very welcoming and super helpful, as we are new tourer caravan owners and this was our first trip out and had never towed a caravan or parked one before. They helped and advised us into the best position on out pitch. Short 9 minute drive into Pickering, the railway steam train, lovely independent shops etc. Even nicer was the little village of Sinnington, which the farm owner directed us to and about a 6 minute walk to where the F&H bar and restaurant was, with exceptional food and traditional drinks, great atmosphere and friendly greeting staff. All a must visit and had we been staying longer, it is not far from Thirsk, with its historical town location, traditional shops and great walks and views, not to mention the various cafes and pubs.

Perfect for a few quiet nights away. We only did one night but would have been happy for more. It's a working farm and not much there other than fields and farms. Nice views around and you can hear the animals ☺️ The toilet facilities are super clean and very nice and warm. We didn't use the showers but they looked nice enough. The pot washing area taps weren't on but wasn't a huge issue for one night. We were in a VW camper and most of the other people were in caravans or motorhomes.

Fantastic site on a working farm. Excellent location for access to the coast and moors. Owners extremely helpful and accessible and provided recommendations for walks from farm to local pubs. Very clean facilities with plenty of hot water and toasty shower/toilet block. Stayed over new year and despite the cold weather the site remained very clean underfoot. We would happily return and recommend to others. We even managed a glimpse of aurora borealis!

Great place to stay to visit York, Whitby and Scarborough. The site was excellent and the site manager was very helpful with a couple of 1st time caravaners who didn't have a clue. The facilities on site are very clean and well kept, the shower was very nice.

Excellent location, the farm is very well looked after I would highly recommend this site to people. We visited as taking 2 young nephews to Flamingoland and also, outdoor swimming pool at Scarborough. The site is well looked after, very clean and the staff are extremely accommodating. Lovely short walk from campsite with amazing views, we definitely be returning.

A very nice site, with excellent facilities and a friendly welcome. Only pay for what you use for the EHU, which is very good for us. Beautiful views and clearly marked farms walks.
