Fantastic campsite, fantastic stay

Myself and a friend came to Orcaber campsite to do three days of cycling in the Yorkshire Dales. It was extremely well situated for this. We stayed in a pod for two nights and the price in total was superb value for money. It had a small heater and numerous electric points which was perfect for what we needed. The campsite was clean and the facilities were great. The staff were super friendly and very welcoming. We were just gutted to arrive too late on Saturday to order a takeaway pizza which they were freshly preparing at the site when we arrived. We will definitely return to do so in the future. Excellent

Really enjoyed our stay here. Owners were really friendly. Chilled, family friendly atmosphere. Not strict about tent/ pitch size, we could choose where we went on the field. Good facilities, very clean. Lots of hot water. The radio plays in the toilet shower block, which is a nice touch. It surprisingly had high quality loo roll, which I've never come across camping before and was much appreciated. Very good value for money. Lovely views. Lots of dogs and an easy dog walk from the site that was well signposted. Again, very clean. Tuck shop on site, which was stocked up. Lots of picnic benches so every group could have one in their tent area. All in all, couldn't fault it.

Lovely

Three night stay in one of the pods. Campsite fairly busy, but all pitches well spaced out and plenty of clean facilities. Staff friendly and helpful. Stayed with our two dogs who loved their stay and play in the dog field and dog walk . Will definitely be booking again.

Great services

Great site but too many dogs allowed to break the lead rule and run free. Especially when there is a fantastic area provided for them. Our dog loved it.

Great campsite!

At the age of almost 40 and with lots and lots of camping holidays in those years I would say it was the best shower I have EVER had on a campsite! Well stocked shop, nice atmosphere, bonus fire pits which we weren’t expecting. All in all a great site and will be returning!

Camping

This is a beautiful site that is well maintained and looked after. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is dog friendly, with an exercise field where you let them run off lead, and the service with the fire pit is brilliant, fetching them to your doors. The shower block and toilets are also very clean.

Lovely site on a fantastic location

Had a great stay here. A warm welcome and a nice level pitch. Toilet block is very modern and clean, even when the site was very busy at the weekend (the thick toilet paper was very much appreciated!). Just a short stretch of a country lane from the A road, with plenty of passing places. Will definitely return.

Lovely stay

Stayed for 3 nights in a pod. We very much enjoyed our stay and simply cannot recommend enough. Everything was clean and well organised, the toilets were spotless. The dog wash was a lovely add on to have and we definitely got use out of it. We will definitely be returning!

This place is AMAZING!

Absolutely fantastic

The location is superb with great views all around the area. The facilities are brilliant - brand new toilet block with showers and a decent shop with the essentials you need. Properly converted me to camping!

Great campsite

Bad weather did not detract staying at this lovely site. A great, flat field, really good facilities and an amazing location for lots of things (we walked the 3 peaks). Settle was such a cool place, the flowerpot festival was on. We'd definitely be back & highly recommend.

Camping with dogs

Large field with beautiful views all around that were very well tended to in all weather! Lovely staff. Shower blocks are amazing, even a proper dog shower. Great location too!

Great family site

Fabulous place to stay with helpful staff and clean and modern facilities. It was great to have space for football in the centre of the tent pitches for the kids. The location is great if you have a car to go to the local spots as with a family, the mile and a half walk to Clapham had a lot of road to cover as part of it which wasn't great for our kids but by car there are some fab local places to visit and walk. The pizza onsite on Saturday night was a big bonus too!

Lovely site

What a lovely campsite! Everywhere was lovely and clean. The showers and toilets were spotless. The showers were exceptional for a campsite - lovely hot water and a good powerful head. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing negative to report at all. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will be back :)

Five day break with two dogs

The perfect campsite. We went home after two days of persistent heavy rain and extreme winds through the night. We would have loved to stay for the other three nights, but our two dogs were scared by the thunder. That does not detract from the quality of the campsite and the wonderful area it's in. We will definitely return.

Great campsite

Fantastic stay in a pod with our dog. Great location, only a 1 1/2 mile signposted walk to a pub, cafe and park. Enclosed safe dog exercise field at the site. Pods are well spread out so you are not overlooked. Clean and modern showers and toilets, always hot water in the showers and always spotlessly clean. Very helpful site managers and a friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.

A nice, peaceful and relaxing campsite

A clean, well laid out campsite. The shop is reasonably priced and pizza night on Saturday made tea easy and the toilets showers and washing facilities were all spotless. The campsite is very well placed for the surrounding walks and sights.
