VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2025 I think the campsite is ideally located as Chester town center is only 10 minutes away, as well as Cheshire Oaks. The campsite is clean & well managed, I would definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking for a few nights in Chester.

Bit far out
Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2025 What a lovely site, my only problem was that it was a bit far out of Chester to visit unless you had a car, as it's either the bus, which was not reliable or taxi, which you couldn't do but once because of the expense.
Chester is such a lovely place, I would like to have visit more than once, but definitely would recommend if you had transport.

Rubbish Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2025 Will not be going back to this site. Booked a fully serviced pitch but only got water and hook up. Some people just let their dogs go free plus no disability toilet.

We are sorry that you were unhappy, our pitches have water and electric at all pitches on clean hardstanding level spacious ground.18 of the pitches have a grey waste drain and the other 7 currently need the waste water container. There are to my knowledge no dogs ever walking free and if this was reported to me then I would have dealt with it straight away. The fully refurbished toilets and showers have wheelchair access and support rails in all showers. We are a small site and do not have a designated disabled toilet but as I have said they are all level with wide access and support rails.

It was in a good location for that part of our journey but it's at the crossroads of a busy, noisy road & motorway. But overall, really good campsite.

Weekend away
Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2025 My husband and I stayed on Oakwood Farm for a couple of nights.
Arriving at the site is a lovely entrance and a welcoming lady in the office. We were shown to our pitch, not in the right place for our Motorhome for the water fill. That was not a problem and asked to choose another pitch. It is so clean and well kept, we will be returning. Yes, there is some road noise, but outweighed by the site and location to Chester.

A lovely little site
Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches May 2025 This site is well maintained with clean modern showers and toilets.
Located close to Chester, the Wirral and North East Wales, it is a good location for visiting these areas.
The only downside being that the location near to a main commuting route means that traffic noise is noticeable.

Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2025 Fantastic site and fantastic staff. Loved every bit of the stay. Ideal location for everything that we wanted to see.
Only thing that was a negative, while out, someone had unplugged our electric, so unsure how long it had been off. And a neighbour was playing music for everyone to hear.

Perfect
Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2025 Made for the perfect stop for our family tour. Easy to book, easy to find and gain access to, even after hours, and is close to shops and entertainment.
Very clean and fresh looking! The pitches are large and spaced and very well kept. Immaculate facilities and quiet. Even being close to a road the campsite itself was peaceful and safe for kids to play out.
Great comms throughout booking and run up to ensure we had everything we needed.

Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Mar 2025 Fantastic site, very well maintained very clean toilet and shower block.
Excellent location for a break. Only downfall is constant road noise, non-stop wagons, cars and buses all night. Very difficult to get a good night sleep.

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Mar 2025 Great place to stay. It was clean and very well maintained. Pete was a great host.
The only thing I would add would be another stool in the shower rooms & more hooks to hang this on whilst showering. The luxury would be to have a hair dryer in the toilets.

First Visit
Twin Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Dec 2024 A very clean and tidy site. The toilets and showers look fairly new and were clean. The café on site is worth a visit.
The local train station was 5 minutes drive and it was a 13 minute train journey into Chester.
It is close to a main road, so there is a bit of road noise but didn't bother us. All in all, we would return again.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Oct 2024 Perfect yet again. The new facilities are superb and the staff are very friendly, we are looking forward to returning. Can I also add that Fox's tea rooms on the site has excellent food and very friendly staff.

Quick visit! Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2024 Arrived late after a long, difficult travel at 1:30am. Wasn't the best of weather and was expecting breakfast at 8am on Sunday morning, only to be told it was a 9am opening time due to wet weather.
We were all hoping that we could at least have a brew or dry ourselves off. Sadly, did not think to do this, even if cafe door was open. Had to depart for an activity so can't really say much more about this place.

Camping trip
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Had a real nice stay! We had things booked for the next day so it was a real early start. There was a really loud couple on site until 3am, so hardly had any sleep, but a fantastic site.

Lovely site
Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2024 The location was great for us wanting a one night stopover. Short bus ride into Chester from right outside the park. There is quite a bit of road noise but it didn't particularly bother us.
We were met on arrival by a lovely lady who was very helpful and gave us all the information to get to Chester. Wi-Fi on the park was a bonus as many charge extra for this. It was a quiet and friendly site, with a mixture of camper vans, tents and caravans.
The only downside were the toilets and showers. There is a new block of showers but this was not finished when we went so was not open. The only available shower is in the toilet block which I didn't find very clean so didn't use. We just used the one in our van. I understand there have been delays in the new block which was a shame.
We would stay again though as the location suited us.
