Best site I have even been

It is a great place if you're looking for peace and quiet for you and your family or your four legged babies. Good location makes it great for a walks towards Kennack Sands or very little drive to stunning Kynance Cove and many other places in the area. Very clean, quiet, well maintained and friendly site makes it great for holidays, will definitely come back there in the future.

Excellent site

We loved this site. Lovely, well maintained grounds, good clean toilet and laundry facilities. Great location. We were allocated a very good grass pitch very near toilet facilities, which is important for us as we have a small campervan with no onboard toilet. The toilet, shower and washing up facilities get top marks from me with plenty of loos, one cubicle, 3 showers and wash basins and plenty of hooks. It is a lovely well maintained site, surrounded by mature trees and lots of wild flower banks as well as manicured areas. a good mix. The site is well located on the LIZARD Peninsula and there were 2 good walks from the site, one to Kennack Sands and one to the nearby village. It is a lovely walk ton a rough path through a beautiful wooded valley to the beach. about 20 minutes for me and I am slow! Friendly staff.. We met up with friends for 2 of nights with same van as ours. They loved it too. A good play park for older children, and a lovely one for toddlers. Very good sized pitches.

Great fun

Amazing campsite, our 12 year old had so much fun and met lots of friends on camp. Host was very friendly and helpful, always willing for a chat. Lots of info in the information hut and we borrowed something for the day. Beach and lots of walking near by, we were never short of something to do. Then the children would gather in the park and play for the early evening hours. Relaxed, enjoyable and great fun. We would definitely stay again. Yes the showers are dated, but we thought it added that homely feel.

I am giving a 5 star review rating because it's a lovely place to camp with clean facilities. Staff are lovely and overall it's just a nice place to camp.

Beautiful, clean campsite

Beautiful, clean campsite, not too far from a nice beach but not a gentle walk! Lovely little site, very well kept with a nice laid back vibe. Hot showers and clean facilities. Lovely play park for the kids. Pitches are ample size and very well thought out with hedges or trees dividing them. There's a lovely beach about a mile away but it's a bit of a mission through beautiful woodland on an uneven, rocky path- a lot of calf burn, but well worth it if you're able. The host was friendly and welcoming and always a phone call away if you needed assistance. This campsite is quite far away from basic amenities and other places we visited were quite far away - for this reason, we probably would not return but we've had a lovely stay. Thank you!

Peace, peace, peace

Lovely quiet site, not for you if you want lively! Lots of families and couples, tents, caravans and motorhomes. Nice path down to the beach. Also a separate path to a local pub and Thai takeaway. We came in a large motorhome, so walked to beach. Noticed some campers got supermarket home deliveries. Stock up before you arrive, there is also a freezer on site if needed.

Great value for money

This is a really good, basic site. The pitches are excellent in size with good spaces between. There is a large play area with a lovely little park in field C. It is very clean, with access to cleaning products also. Nice little laundry room with a washing line or airier for use. You can get to Kennack Sands beach from just outside the site, with signage to help you. This walk is quite steep in places, but takes about 10 minutes to get there. Kennack Sands is a beautiful large beach with a shop and coffee shop. Absolutely recommend this campsite and will be going again.

Beautiful camp with walking distance to beach. Clean facilities and quiet and friendly place. I would definitely recommend it.

One word, perfect!

Beautiful location, superb facilities and very helpful owners. We come to the Lizard a lot, and this site is now top of our list to return. Thanks, we will be returning soon.

Motorhome Stay

Lovely site. Perfectly positioned with a beautiful woodland walk down to Kennack Sands. Very peaceful with clean facilities. Will definitely be back!

Perfect campsite

Stayed one night and have no complaints. Staff were friendly and really helpful. No hassle with check in. 15 min walk to a great beach and a really lovely site.

Perfect campsite for Lizard walkers

Perfect campsite, small, private, enough space for all campers, toilets super clean and best power shower ever. The location is perfect, beach and coastal path are 10 minutes walk. I highly recommend this site.

Amazing campsite

Our party had absolutely amazing time at Silver Sands Campsite. Location is perfect, quiet, beautiful and close to the beach. Owners very friendly and welcoming. Great play park for kids, toilets and showers were very clean. Would absolutely recommend Silver Sands, we loved it!

Really nice place

Great welcome. Were given thorough knowledge of the area, places to visit and restaurants, bars etc. Good information pack on the area. Bathroom and shower facilities were really clean! 10 minute walk to the beach.

Fantastic weekend

A fantastic weekend. Lovely host, beautiful, peaceful campsite. Good private pitches, a lovely dog-walking field. Nature all around you! Even saw a Tawny owl! Nice safe walk to the beach only takes 15 mins.
