Best site

Excellent site. We have been camping for three years now and this is by far the best site yet. Beautifully clean facilities, plenty of toilets, showers and kitchen sinks. Large pitches and it was clear that the site managers are thoughtful in spacing people out. Brilliant location, very close to the coast. Really quiet site with friendly managers. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Nice site, if a little remote. Need use of car or be prepared to walk 20 minutes to bus stop.

Great stay

Fantastic stay over the bank holiday weekend. Warm and friendly welcome. Facilities were clean and modern. Site is very quiet and peaceful, in a beautiful rural setting. Will definitely visit again.

Wonderful setting

We loved Looe Country Park. we are walkers, so the walks into Looe were lovely quiet country lanes leading to the coast path. Our pitch was lovely, the toilets and shower block were always clean (the showers are fantastic). a friendly greeting and a nice goodbye are always winners in our book. We hope to be back in the future.

Amazing and accommodating atmosphere

The stay was so peaceful and relaxed. The owner of the site was really accommodating and had clearly worked hard to create a really safe and tranquil space. Met many locals who love the area, and would definitely come back again for another night's escape. The campsite and pod facilities make you feel so secluded and snug, it's an affordable and fun experience. Thanks to the owner and everybody else on the site!

Lovely campsite

Stayed here for two nights and it was very peaceful. We took two dogs with us and there was a dog area all fenced in for them to have a run around. Would highly recommend this campsite if you are looking for a small quiet one.

Lovely site, great walks!

We had a wonderful stay, with lovely walks to the beach and a forest walk to The Copely Arms. The dogs loved it as much as we did...we had a day in Looe... eating Fish and Chips from The Catch. While the site may be remote, it's only a short drive to places of interest, however, we loved to walk it and found all the routes easy to get to all the different beaches (it is up and downhill) but not too strenuous. All in all, we had a great stay- the facilities were clean and excellent (my partner would have preferred hotter showers-but she likes them really hot!) I found them fine :) Small shop selling a selection of goods if you need...Polperro is only a 20-minute drive away. We will certainly be returning, the team on site were friendly and helpful! Thank you.

Peaceful, well maintained campsite

We received a very warm welcome on arrival. We were given helpful information and recommendations for local walks, bars and places to eat. The site was so gentle, with good facilities, including an enclosed area to let our dog off his lead. We will definitely recommend the site and return for another superbly relaxing weekend.

What a gem of a find

The staff here are amazing! Nothing is too much trouble. This small site is a real find. Spotless facilities. Small shop on site for those items that you've forgotten. Lovely walks into Millendreath, Looe and Seaton. Will definitely return here. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

Weekend stay

Very well placed venue and organised by lovely people. We were given a static caravan instead of a pod so missed the pod experience but the caravan was lovely.

Our enjoyable stay at Looe Country Park

Lovely, friendly and clean site in a stunning location!! I arrived late to a very patient owner, who also went above and beyond to help me sort my electrical difficulties.

Pre Christmas break

We love this site. It's friendly, clean and it's easy to get to local beaches and towns. Quiet and well run.

A lovely place to stay

Nicely presented grounds

Nicely presented grounds, ample shower facilities and clean. Approachable, helpful and friendly staff.

Relaxing week

Lovely relaxing stay, small and friendly campsite in a quiet location with all the amenities needed. Family friendly without the noise. Lane to campsite single lane traffic, which was tight in areas but everyone respectful of each other. Easy access to other locations within Cornwall and also Devon. Definitely recommend this site.

Nice campsite in a good location

Lovely clean campsite. A touch crammed in on the plots, but facilities were excellent. We picked a school holiday week so plenty of kids around - not a problem in any way, they were excited to be on holiday. Access roads are mainly single carriageway so a challenge in a large motorhome or caravan. Overall a lovely site, but would pick some quiet dates to come again.

Thanks for your review, Kevin. It certainly can feel busy during the summer, but we try to mitigate any feelings of overcrowding by having one open side on every pitch and we don't worry if people expand forward of their allocated space. We do discourage children from running around other people's pitches and send them in after dark. The access road can be busier in summer too but we don't often get reports of passing issues coming in. You are of course welcome to return at any time of the year.

Had a great stay. Staff extremely welcoming and helpful. Small, quiet park, perfect base for exploring Cornwall and Devon. Would definitely recommend.
