Clear filters Family and friends holiday
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches (Dog Friendly) Aug 2022 We stayed for 9 nights with friends. The site is very busy. Our tent was close to main path and you can hear people going to the toilet all the time or back from pub or entertainment up to late hours of the night. I just feel more sorry for people opposite toilet as you can hear hand dryers going 24/7.
The side is well looked after with beautiful view and great play area for kids. Good size swimming pool. Unfortunately, not everyone was driving slow and taking extra care about kids on scooters or bikes, so I stayed with mine mostly all the time. Shop on site is well stocked with not to bad prices, where you can buy fresh bread every morning. Nice walking distance to the lovely beach.
I will recommend this campsite, but if you like peaceful and quiet evenings, you can be disappointed.

Poor value for money Single Axle Caravan - Super Grass Pitches (Dog Friendly) Aug 2022 Way too far to the beach and not safe with a buggy nor walking through a golf course.
Toilets not always clean, sometimes there was no water through the broken taps. Poor entertainment throughout the day,
We visited with family, with tents caravans and motor homes. Age range from 15 months old to 65
Yes, it's all about being together and enjoying the outside, but I do expect a little bit more from the site otherwise we might may as well have just stayed on the field.
Campsite friendly and clean
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 This was the first time we stayed here and we decided to book up and come back next year.
Friendly staff. Welcoming and happy to help. We were very impressed on how clean the place was and how on top of cleaning they were. Good hygiene, which is important to me. Lovely swimming pool. Clean and numbers were managed for safety. That was one concern of ours, the life guards were either talking to each other, not looking at the pool or walking around the pool together on their phones. So while I was in the pool, I felt like I had to keep my eyes on the pool in case anything happened while I was there.
The campsite was lovely. Fresh coffee and cocktails when the lady was open. Good food. Lovely golf area. It would be nice for some of the activities to be included in price. We did not visit the entertainment.
We were pleased with our stay and happy to return.
First time stay
Small Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 Lovely campsite, loads of space and facilities especially for families.
We stayed as it was close to Newquay and we were going to Boardmasters, which worked perfectly. Bus stop just outside the entrance and beautiful walk down to the beach, over the golf course and dunes, where the sea was good for paddle boarding and bodyboarding. Although, not the best for a surf :)

Great family site
Twin Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Pitches (Dog Friendly) Aug 2022 Four families - stayed at the park for an average of 10 days.
The facilities were faultless, clean and plentiful, especially for young families. There is plenty to explore local to the the site and two pubs walkable as well as Woody's Bar on site which we didn't know about until the last day. The Smugglers Den is highly recommended. It's about a 30 minute walk from the site across the fields opposite Londis.
The only criticism of the site is location of the beach. Hollywell Bay is stunning but it's a difficult walk, approximately 40 minutes to get there with young children.
There are many lovely beaches nearby but parking is expensive and the car parks are full on a sunny day by midday. The lack of lighting on the site is also an issue, so when returning from the courtyard in the dark, bring a torch.

Great place
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2022 This is a great site for all the family. There is loads to do onsite for the children and you are close to Newquay and Perranporth. The staff are friendly and very helpful and are enthusiastic about the area, giving you good ideas on where to go in the area.
The only downside was that the toilets on the field we were in shut at 10.00 till 11.30 every morning for a deep clean. Whilst this is good (I am not moaning about the cleanliness) it made the other facilities more busier. Maybe they could move the time a bit later. (I know this is picky but it is a review)
I would definitely recommend the site and I would return in the future. Thank you for the wonderful stay.
Great stay
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches (Dog Friendly) Jul 2022 Great location, ideal for small children with heated outside pool and great beach access through the sand dunes. The facilities were ideal with shops and artisan food stalls in the evening.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2022 Had a lovely weekend camping here with our two friends. Pitches next to each other. Great shop filled with more than you'd expect / need. Lovely outdoor pool, clean with lots of space.

Customer service was absolutely spot on, we actually had no issues so didn't report anything.
Plenty for the kids to do, be safe and play on the fields at the top.
Will definitely recommend to others!!

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches (Dog Friendly) Jul 2022 Never been to Cornwall before until now. The staff were so polite and helpful from start to finish, the facilities were really clean and good, everything about the site was bang on and will be recommending and rebooking again for next year.
We all loved it and were so happy there and had a great time. We had days out every day all around Cornwall, but nothing was a pain for them to help us, had a brilliant pitch too. 629? Want this again next year.
