Clear filters Best campsite we’ve ever been to!
VW-Type Campervan - Wild Grass Camping Pitches Aug 2023 Absolutely loved this site. The vibe was chilled out, the people it attracts were the same. We stayed for 3 days and loved every minute, nice dark skies for stargazing, great little paths to walk around with the kids. Amazing food put on and a cool bar with entertainment on. Will be back again one day!

Camping Pod - North Coast Jupiter Pod Aug 2023 Booked this place for an off-grid adventure for me and the puppy while I had some free time and my partner couldn't get off work.
The eco pod was incredible, providing everything we needed for the nights we were there with the most beautiful view of the sea (and sunset).
The site is stunning, well kept and really has a great vibe to it. Location wise, it's great being just minutes in the car away from Porthtowan. Coastal walks, relaxing mornings reading a book, on-site relaxed entertainment. It was perfect.
Will be returning, next time with my partner too!

Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 Great site with lovely views of the sea and local wheal from our pitch. Short walk to the beach (uphill on the way back). Great bar & semi-indoor area with Wi-Fi.
Idyllic stay
Shepherd's Hut - Beacon Shepherd's Hut Aug 2023 We came back to Mount Pleasant for a second year but this time extended our stay in Beacon Hut (last year we mostly camped).
It was absolutely the lovely. The hut is in a beautiful location with unbeatable views of the sea (and sunsets if you get lucky!). The site itself is great with good facilities and a really nice bar that has food from their vegan canteen and food trucks. Look out for Sundays - the bar is closed and no food generally available in the evening!
But all in all, highly recommend a stay at the Eco Park!

Great to have both compost toilets and normal. Incredibly well-maintained site, really well-thought-out layout. Lovely community feel and ethos behind it. Great to have the option of onsite food and events, but also have some great places within walking distance. Really friendly staff.
Will happily go back and stay again!

Large Tent - Wild Grass Camping Pitches Jul 2023 Fantastic value campsite, plenty of space, facilities clean and showers nice and hot and never had to queue! (I guess the wet weather played a part there). Definitely will be returning in hopefully weather more akin to summer!
First camping adventure
VW-Type Campervan - Wild Grass Camping Pitches Jul 2023 Our first camping trip in our VW camper with tent, great place for the first venture.
Only down side was the steep walkway to the town for fish and chips, but this is Cornwall. If there was another non road path we would rate this 5 star.
No one to greet us on arrival which was a little disappointing.
Loved it here!

Camping Pod - North Coast Jupiter Pod May 2023 Had an amazing five night stay in the Eco Pod looking over a meadow to the coast. Warm, comfortable, with a little fenced garden, I really didn't want to leave.
The organisers were kind and friendly (accommodating my freezer packs in the bar fridge when the camp fridge was full), there were lots of water taps, good showers and very clean loos. An easy walk to the beach and the village of Porthawen made for a good variety of experiences and the sunsets were spectacular.
Hope to return!

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2023 Loved it! We had a lovely view of the beach and sunset and there were big tent pitches. You can rent a fire pit and wood there too. The walk to the beach and village is only 20 mins but really steep!

VW-Type Campervan - Wild Grass Camping Pitches Apr 2023 We loved our stay here. Beautiful site with plenty of space for children to play. Lovely fire pit/pizza oven area and a very laid back vibe. Facilities include a lovely vegan café serving great coffee and a cool bar far enough away from the main campsite not to be at all intrusive.
There was a gig on in the bar during our stay and despite being unable to attend due to having kids with us, it didn't affect our stay at all. Facilities were clean, although the hot water ran out over the weekend which was disappointing and the site could benefit from another set of toilets and shower block in the overspill field. I've scored four for standard of service as we didn't see any camp staff members during the stay, although we quite like that and there was a number to contact if required.
Really well located - walked to local beach, did coastal walks to other coves and easy place from which to explore the rest of North Cornwall in the van. Overall, a fab holiday.

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Feb 2023 This was a really lovely spot to stay on a sunny February mid-week.
The view was stunning and we really enjoyed walking down to the beach and watching the surfers and even the dolphins in the distance. The site looks really cool with lots of nooks and crannies, and I can imagine it is very vibey in the summertime. The staff we interacted with all seemed really lovely. The showers were really hot, which was great. Would love to experience this place in the summer, but it was also wonderful having it all to ourselves in the winter.
I've only put four stars for location, as the local village wasn't the most charming. Though there was a bus to and from Saint Agnes and plenty to explore in the area.
Nice staff, not the best facilities VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Dec 2022 15min walk into Porthtowan with sea views but the site was exposed on cliff tops in inclement weather.
Friendly service from site staff. When we turned up, someone else was parked in our pitch. A member of staff helpfully offered one of the huts for the night or an extension EHU lead so we could stay in the parking space for the hut whilst waiting for the pitch to be vacated. We chose the latter and were happy with that.
However, facilities are not great. No gravel or slabbed paths up to small toilet block meant quagmire in wet weather and mud traipsed into the showers. Just 2 showers for the site and only one with a working lock. It was unclean and muddy and the toilets are wooden shacks that were basic and unheated. The wash station with basins and mirrors was open at both ends meaning it was exposed in bad weather. It was in poor condition.
We are both conscious of caring for the environment and value places that try to support a sustainable environment but unless you enjoy 'festival' facilities and a rough and ready experience - give this site a miss!

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Nov 2022 Excellent all round. Booked online and received all info promptly. Lovely views. Quiet. Brilliant meal in the canteen with live folk music. Just a lovely evening and stopover. Thank you
