Convenient spot

Had an amazing night camping in the bell tent. The bed was so comfy. Perfect location for our visit to the eden sessions. Quiet and peaceful spot that we're definitely going to visit again.

Had a great time!

Lovely, back to basics campsite. Had a slight issue which was resolved promptly by Daisy. Would definitely recommend if you're interested in visiting Eden Project or other places around St Austell. Thanks a bunch!

Just what I needed!

I stopped here as part of a cycling trip- was easy to find, and well located with the Pentewan valley trail nearby. A lovely, wild field of white clover. I've only knocked a star off 'facilities' because if you're fussy a compost loo and cold shower might not hack it, but as a bit of an environmental obsessive the loos were a plus and after a hot day pedalling a cold shower was perfect. Daisy was very helpful in letting me know how things ran and suggesting local places for food and drink. I'd definitely return and recommend.

Great location, very quiet

Lovely location just outside the centre of St Austell.

Fabulous

Had a lovely weekend stay here, site spotlessly keen and loads of space. Close to lots of places to visit yet really quiet site. Daisy couldn't have been more helpful. Will definitely be returning.

A lovely hideaway

This was such a lovely getaway. We booked the bell tent. It had everything we should need during our stay. The site was eco friendly with the toilets and showers. There was access to running water. The bell tent was well equipped with a fire pit and outdoor table and chairs. The bed was comfy and very clean inside the tent. We literally arrived with food and clothes for a 5 day stay. Literally 5 minutes drive up the road was Tesco, McDonald's, costa, kfc and 24 hour garage. We will be returning, thanks Daisy for having us.

Beautiful little spot

Very basic but a beautiful location and very friendly service. Would stay again. For those that like easy food nearby, McDonald's is just a few min drive down the road! (Though you wouldn't know as the location is so peaceful and quiet).

Perfect stay, highly recommend!

Couldn't have asked for anything more from Daisy. We arrived late, but just popped a text through, which was replied to quickly and explained all we had to do to settle onto the site. Reasonable, very clean and very basic yes, but all you need is a toilet, a shower and a clean washing up station, nothing else is required! Back to basics and really lovely, easy going spot. Will absolutely be back, definitely highly recommend. Ummed and arred about which spot to go for but glad we chose this one. 5 mins from Charlestown, 2 mins from St Austell.

Laid back, friendly and affordable

Great, easy and peaceful stay with Peter. Facilities for a no frills camp.

Very pleasant and spacious, but very basic for price

It was a lovely location. Great views, but we visited in October and the rather long grass and wet ground prevented us from getting to the top of the field. We felt it was a little overpriced given no EHU, composting toilets and outdoor shower. The welcome from the site owner was, however, very nice and accommodating.

No-frills camping

Exactly what we wanted. The necessary facilities. Peaceful Campsite. Loved that we could have a fire which added to the ambience. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a cheaper option. Would book again.

Great little quiet field

A really nice little, no thrills campsite. The facilities were spotless, plenty of room in the field to spread out from the neighbours.

Spot on!

Couldn’t ask for more. Wasn’t expecting there to be showers too. Perfect little campsite if you enjoy the simple side of camping. Had plenty of space for my pitch. I was on a slight slope but barely noticeable inside the van. Would definitely stay again!

Peaceful quiet stay

Very helpful staff, lots of space to park the motorhome. Easy access to many cycle trails.

Car camping

Stayed for two nights car camping with tailgate tent. Clean basic facilities which were a God send. Friendly campers, although one set were fairly loud. I chose this site as it was off the track, so to speak. Daisy was lovely and would have given her 5* in friendliness. I bought my own logs for our firepit. However, I found out they sell all you need, so next time I would purchase from the farm. Worth every penny staying here and hopefully next year we will be staying again. Just to add, it's local to the Eden Project, Heligan, Pinetum Gardens and St Austell, as well as Asda, Tesco and B&M. There is also Par Market not far in the car, along with Pentewan Beach and the Trail along White River. I've recommended it to other campers as there are fabulous views of the Cornish Countryside.

Gorgeous

What a gorgeous place to stay! We hired the belle tent for the night and it was just perfect - especially as I am not an experienced camper and don't have all of the gear. Daisy couldn't have been more helpful - thank you so much!

Camping farm

A lovely quiet site, the owner was so helpful and was a lovely lady. There was a compost toilet and cold outside showers which are best on a hot day. Cheap camping, with plenty of space for kids to run around. It was close to Pentewan, a cycle trail and bus stops.

Decent location and not expensive

Easy to get into St Austell from campsite. Plenty of space in the field to pitch wherever you want. Wasn't expecting outdoor showers but they worked well (but no hot water) and the compost loos were decent enough! Would stay again!

Lovely quiet stay

Very peaceful site. Excellent position for Pentewan Valley Cycle path. Also close to lovely Charlestown, which is well worth a visit, however a very hilly cycle there. Toilets are very clean and fine as long as you are not expecting any frills.

Basic, but immaculately clean facilities

Composting toilets were clean and didn't smell. Cold showers were bracing. Field was clean and tidy, but noise of adjacent waste treatment works continued throughout the night.

Can’t wait to come back!

We had a great stay at Menagwins Farm! Stayed for my partners 30th and couldn't have hoped for a better location for a hiking holiday. Showers, toilets and fresh water that tasted amazing. Even offers firepit rental, which was an awesome treat. Will 100% be coming back, thank you Daisy and David.

Great campsite

We had a great camp here at the weekend. Beautiful site with very basic facilities but exactly as we expected from the description and the price reflected this. The compost toilets were kept clean and didn't smell. Extras were provided such as soap, washing up liquid and buckets to take water back to your pitch. A lovely campsite with friendly owners. Thank you

Simple site well-positioned

Great little site, good location, simple facilities but ideal for simple camping. Fire pits and wood were available to purchase for the stay, and the South West Coastal Path is just outside the site (nice walk into Charlestown).
