Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Sep 2023

2nd time we've stopped here. Main reason as just the right spot for a break on the way to Scotland, but a beautiful well laid out site. Clean shower block and toilets, and nice pitch. The main draw though is there is a magical gate at the end of the park leading to waterfalls and beautiful walks. Kirby Stephen has some great pubs and places to eat. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely site. Clean, friendly, lots of walks and a bar on site…what's not to like?

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Aug 2023

Had a 4 night stay just after the Bank Holiday weekend. Staff were very helpful on arrival and managed to pitch reasonably well, although it was a bit of a tight squeeze due to the angle of the pitch. The onsite bar/dining area is great with how they have converted it, in-keeping of its original use. Very cosy. Only thing I could fault was that there were 4 loud dogs directly opposite us throughout our stay, and felt other dog owners were put off walking past as sometimes, they were off their lead. Not really a reflection on the owners but maybe they could, in future, have a quiet word or put up a sign up around site to respect other campers. Other than that, I would definitely recommend for a quiet-ish little getaway. Would definitely return next year.
