Clear filters Lovely spot very convenient for the M6
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitch - Slight Slope Jul 2022 Lovely friendly helpful greeting. Nice level pitch with great view. Although we didn't eat there there is a lovely friendly pub only a hundred yards away.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitch - Slight Slope Jul 2022 Lovely little site and friendly staff. Facilities all clean and tidy. We had a nice quiet and enjoyable stopover on our way home to Scotland. I will use it again.

Nice, quiet and clean site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Campervan Pitch Jul 2022 Good spacious site, neat and tidy, great pub across the lane and good walks along the canal. Easy to reach Lancaster and Kendal and South Lakes. Would have liked extra toilets.

Thank you for the lovely review and recommendation Michael. We've recently got planning permission for a new shower, loo and laundry block, so for 2023 we'll have additional, brand new facilities.
Fabulous
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Motorhome and Campervan Pitches Jul 2022 We had a lovely weekend away, we went out for tea to the Bulls Head a couple of miles away, as the Crooklands was full. We also went on the canal boat for a small charge. Also, we enjoyed family games that Paul and Sarah supplied. Really looking forward to returning.

A gem of a campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Small Pitch Jul 2022 We only stayed here one night on our journey from Cornwall to Scotland- it was the perfect stopover. Easy to find (great instructions!), close to the M6, very clean, not too many pitches, quiet area and a fab Inn a couple of minutes walk away. What's not to like! Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Thank you, Claire. Over the season we have lots of people doing exactly what you've done and using us as a very convenient stopover to break up a long journey, from North to South or vice versa.

A hidden gem!!
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2022 Beautiful place so easy to find. We felt very welcome there. Great facilities and excellent atmosphere to have the canal adjacent to wander along in the evening, with a fantastic pub across the road serving great food...what more could you want 😀

Very nice campsite
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Motorhome and Campervan Pitches Jul 2022 Very nice campsite with individual charm. We were warmly welcomed by the very friendly owner and had a good stay. The sanitary facilities are a bit older, but were very clean and we didn't want for anything!

Thank you for the 5* rating and recommendation Christine. Yes, the facilities aren't young anymore, but I manage to keep them as clean as clean and fully stocked. If you return to Little Acre in the future, I'll have a brand new loo, shower and laundry facility to show you!
