Bus stop 5 mins walk that takes you to Keswick or Penrith bus stations . 15 mins walk to pub that sells lovely food .

Beautiful, peaceful site with good facilities
Camping Pod - Camping Pods Jun 2025 Beckses is a lovely site, very peaceful but with plenty of staff around to answer queries etc.
The pod we stayed in was basic but clean, comfortable (surprisingly comfortable beds!) and had a kettle etc. A mini fridge would have been nice for storing milk but otherwise it was everything we needed as a base for exploring the northern Lakes. The toilet and shower block was also very clean, comfortable and the shower was powerful and hot - delightful. Our children enjoyed the play area and the site felt safe and welcoming.
Overall a really lovely weekend - we'll be back!

Basically, clean and tidy, pleasant staff, but pitches felt a bit cramped.

Very accommodating, pitches have hard standing to park the caravan.
Very clean & well kept site. Easy access into Keswick.
The Lake District
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2025 This campground was spotless, the staff very friendly and helped us find our way by bus to Keswick.
Keswick is a charming village and the bus system was so easy to use. The Lake District is a beautiful place.
Super stay

Camping Pod - Blencathra View Pod Jun 2025 Walked in the Pod and it was spotless, looked like we were the first ones to stay there. Had a few problems with the door but Craig gave us his number and any problems, he was happy to help with straight away so didn't have to worry.
Staff were lovely and had a great time. It is in a perfect location, around 10 mins from the shops and pub a 2 minute drive or 15 min walk. Was pleasantly pleased and would definitely stay again!

We couldn't find the re-cycling point for plastic waste which is essential for any site. Easy access to other places.

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2025 Lovely and peaceful site. Pitch was large and level. Toilets and showers were clean with plenty hot water. Site staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth another visit.

Enjoyable stay
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2025 Lovely quiet site. Although you can hear the A66 traffic, it is not that loud.
Bus stopped at the end of the road going to Keswick and Penrith. Loved sitting outside our motorhome watching the birds around the site.
Had a great break here and we will definitely return as it is excellent value for money.

Road trip
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2025 Love this site, really relaxing and very friendly. Close to Pooley Bridge, Ullswater Keswick. Pitches are great and clean toilets and showers.
Would highly recommend visiting.
Campervan stay
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2025 We stayed here for 3 nights, and couldn't fault anything. Even though it was bank holiday weekend, the site was busy but nice and quiet.
On arrival we were given a friendly welcome and a rundown of the facilities available. The site was spotlessly clean, including toilet and laundry block. The showers were nice and hot too.
Would definitely recommend.
Clean and tidy site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2025 A lovely short stay here, convenient to walk to nearby pub, there is a nice playpark for the kids and also a walk for dogs.
Facilities were always clean and nice to use, and we look forward to returning.

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2025 A decent tidy and clean site. Showers nice and hot. We suffered poor T.V. Reception, not sure if it was just us.
Small dog walking area but adequate for a quick business trip!
