A place we had never been to

What a lovely experience from booking to arriving, then finding our place to stay. It was lovely and clean, a lovely size, just what we needed.. Lady at reception gave us directions to Aira Force which was a lovely walk from the site. well worth a visit even if you decide to take car. Chip van visited site on Friday and was very reasonably priced. We will definitely return.

Great experience

From arrival to departure the service was great. The Cabin exceeded expectations. Our stay was perfect. Thank you.

Glamping pod

Clean, comfortable and well equipped. All was as described on the website. Located on a very nice CAMC site (club membership is not required). Having given up on touring caravan ownership, this facility offers many of the pros of touring caravan ownership without many of the negatives.

Luxurious cabin in great location

We stayed in the Barn Owl glamping cabin that slept 6, and were really pleasantly surprised at how lovely it was and how many facilities there were. There was a good size living space with a pull-out table that was perfect for meals and board games, and really comfy beds with bedding provided. The cabin was spotless and really welcoming, with tea/coffee provided and all the crockery we could have needed (including cute little egg cups!). En suite bathroom as part of cabin, but between 4 people, some of us ended up using the campsite facilities instead, which were clean and close by. The location is fantastic, only a 15 minute drive from Ullswater. Overall a great experience, would love to come back!

Excellent weekend

We stayed in the accessible pod due to it being dog friendly, there was absolutely everything you would need to stay there to cook and clean the pod. I loved the little extras of a portable dog bowl, poo bags and a bag of treats for the pup! There was also a throw away BBQ provided. I have never seen such a clean site. The dog walk was beautiful and the park was well maintained. We will definitely be returning!

Lovely place

A lovely stay at the Troutbeck Head site. The pod was clean and had all the things we would need for our stay. The BBQ is a nice added touch, unfortunately weather did not allow us to use it. Our children enjoyed the park and we saw the shared facilities which were spotless. The staff were very friendly on arrival and around the campsite. Would certainly book another visit.

Excellent place for family holidays

Excellent en-suite pods for family. Few things to highlight. Clean and tidy pod with all amenities, excellent staff, BBQ and dinning area separately available for each pod. A quiet and pleasant stay.
