Clear filters Perfect!
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2024 Well, what a perfect site. Me and my partner wanted somewhere nice, quiet and well placed and we got more than that.
Facilities were clean, site was spotless, no riff-raff or loud families on site, very close to Bakewell and Monyash and the staff truly were brilliant. I didn't meet the owner properly but my partner had a brief conversation with her when she was cleaning the bathroom and she said how lovely she was. 10/10, just found our new favourite campsite.
Considering there's other sites close-by I will now constantly choose this one.

They have a lovely breakfast shop on Saturday and Sunday, I loved it.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2024 Without a doubt, this site is an absolute gem! Located just outside of Bakewell in beautiful rolling countryside with a fantastic pub within walking distance. A lovely quiet site that is ideal for a peaceful stay.
More suited to people wanting to cycle and hike in the area rather than stay on site and expect to be entertained. We will definitely be returning.
Lovely views, quiet peaceful location and clean facilities
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2024 Even in gloomy rainy weather, the views from the site were gorgeous. It was very quiet and peaceful, but only a 10 min drive from Bakewell for shops, pubs and cafés. The perfect location to use as a base for a walking holiday.
The site was clean and well kept, the toilets, showers and washing up facilities were all clean and in good condition.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 Stayed for two nights just me and the dog. Fantastic location, good walk down into Bakewell or into Lathkill Nature Reserve. Will definitely be back!

Loved being able to pitch where we wanted, toilets and showers really clean.

Gorgeous location
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2024 Friendly staff, clean facilities, great price and gorgeous location. Only facility I might have liked is an electric hook up, but we only stayed one night this time so it wasn't necessarily needed.
Bakewell is also beautiful and food amazing. We walked to a pub from the site that is 1.7miles away, took approx. 30 mins max - a lovely friendly pub, The Lathkil Hotel. Food was lovely and they do a pie and drink night with a Quiz on a Wednesday. We had a really great night and the views from this pub were spectacular.

My only complaint would be 1 of the showers didn't seem to work so I had to switch to another.

Recent stay
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2024 I would recommend this site to families etc but it was not for me, unfortunately. It was a lovely site but too far away from anywhere for me to walk to. When I park up, I want to give driving a miss but it was just too far for me.

Excellent value & it was nice not to have to pay extra for dog, awning, gazebo etc. Free to pitch where you wanted & could spread out so there was lots of room between tents. Choice of fields & lovely views all around.
Easy walking distance to Lathkill Dale & also walkable to Bakewell/ Monyash (or short drive).
Clean facilities. Fridge/freezer available to store your fresh goods. Showers were 20p per minute & water was hot. A fair price considering the low pitch prices.
Would definitely stay again.
