Clear filters Another lovely stay
Large Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) May 2023 Our second visit. Great campsite. Lots of slopes on the fields but plenty of room to manage this. Field held up well given the rain and cars on and off. Lots of facilities and all great condition. Cleaned regularly (tough job with all the mud and grass). They organise activities at bank holidays and we enjoyed watching the coronation in the barn. Great, quiet location with lots of day trips nearby.
Great campsite
Trailer Tent - Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2023 Great campsite in a lovely location. Nice and quiet at night with good facilities. The owner and their team worked really hard to keep the facilities clean despite the challenges of the wet weather. Lots of activities and food stalls to mark the coronation. The peacocks are definitely a different feature for a campsite! Would definitely recommend.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Apr 2023 Well located site next to some great walks.
Superb facilities, small shop on site too if you run short of essentials. Showers and toilets are all very clean, especially considering the large numbers over the Bank Holiday weekend. All types of campers and tourers catered for. Helpful staff too. The only downside might be the peacocks, beautiful to see but not so easy on the ears though!
Situated in a lovely village with 2 pubs serving quality meals and drinks, definitely a site to return to again and again.
Nice site but overrun by kids VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2023 The site was lovely. We were on the hardstanding pitches, which were great.
Can't really recommend it or rate the facilities as we could barely use them as there were a lot of Duke of Edinburgh kids, which we were not aware of.
Lovely site in a lovely location
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2023 Well maintained facilities, very friendly staff. Small games room and even mobile phone charging lockers (for a small fee). Lots of walks directly onto Stanton Moor from the campsite. Tried both pubs close to the campsite and couldn't fault either.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2023 Beautiful site with lovely dog walks. This site is very clean with great showers & toilets and a good games room for children. Everyone is friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful, quiet location
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2023 This site is excellent. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and the facilities are excellent with three shower blocks, two toilet blocks and an on site shop.
The site is surrounded by lovely countryside and has stunning views. It is situated close to two pubs both serving nice meals.
There are numerous walks available from the site and surrounding area.

Lovely location Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2023 Had a lovely few days, great views and location. Just be aware of very uneven pitches (which was expected) and toilet/shower facilities for the caravans are quite a distance away.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Apr 2023 Lovely site. Facilities are really nice, little kids play parks are well kept. Site was a great happy family atmosphere for a sunny, but chilly at night, Easter weekend. Nice walking trail up to the stone circle and amazing views run past the campsite. 2 lovely pubs in the local village also! We had a great little stay. Thank you.
Easter weekend away
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Apr 2023 Fabulous site, facilities clean and always stocked up. Staff friendly and helpful. Only negative is that you have to ask every time you needed the shop, so put it off using it as we didn't want to keep annoying anyone, plus only open Monday to Friday.
Fabulous pub, The Druids Inn, was a 5 mins walk - homemade food with great service. We had a lovely time.
Great site
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Apr 2023 Cleanliness of facilities was to a high standard. Location is perfect, with lots of picturesque walks & 2 great pubs just 300 yards away.
The playground is great & we loved the llamas too.
The only negative feedback was that the hot water ran out a couple of times during our stay, but other than that it was fabulous & we'll definitely return. Thank you!

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2023 Great place to stay. Two pubs within 10 mins walk of the site. We had an amazing meal at The Druid's Inn - 20 minute drive to Bakewell.
Lovely walks from site - definitely stay here again.
