Lovely campsite!
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Jul 2022 Had a lovely long weekend at Barn Farm. Excellent with little kids, loads of space to run around, and a play area. Clean facilities, never any queuing for a shower, plenty of cubicles and toilets.
Great walks to do nearby, within walking distance and only 10 minutes drive to Bakewell.
We'll be back, thank you!
Great location and fabulous site
Twin Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2022 Great location, although a few roads getting to the site are unsuitable for caravans. Friendly welcome and allowed to pick which of the sloping pitches we wanted to occupy. The facilities were mainly clean and everything worked as it should. A family friendly site, which means there is always the sound of children playing and having fun (and a few times not so much fun) and mainly sticking to quiet hours. We also had the pleasure of being able to stay up late and enjoy the Y Not festival until the early hours, even though they were miles away it was good of them to share. Excellent staff prepared to do what they can to assist any issue, and even offered late at night to re-open the shop for some much-needed ear plugs.
A great site- I wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Fab camping that exceeded out expectations
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2022 Had a lovely time at this campsite. We arrived late and were able to simply find a pitch and set up. The facilities were more than I expected, fridges, freezers, laundry room, lots of activities for young children, clean toilets and a good amount of large shower cubicles. The pizza van onsite on the Friday night was a tasty bonus too. I've not scored 5 stars for location purely because it's a bit in the middle of nowhere and so took longer to drive through the b-road country lanes - so simply because of extra time it added to our journey coming up from Devon.

Medium Tent - Family Playground Field Non Electric Pitches (Field 4) Jul 2022 Really lovely stay at Barn Farm. Big fields all well manicured! Quite slopey but there was plenty of room to find some level ground! EHU would be good, but not essential for just a couple of days.
Very good pitch and good facilities
Motorhome - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Jul 2022 Our pitch was good, slight slope so blocks needed. Toilets and showers were good, really clean and always toilet paper in them. Shop just had basics but it's helpful. The only downside is if you don't like waking up early, there is a problem because there are many peacocks. Lovely to look at, but quite noisy.
For the kids there is a good play park and a games room which is fun to do, also a few games on the small area with outdoor badminton, connect 4, dominoes and snakes and ladders.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Jul 2022 Barn Farm Campsite had everything we needed. Was very clean and tidy, staff were all super friendly. Location of the campsite is impeccable - lots of lovely little walks are accessible from the campsite.
Really impressed with the campsite and would definitely return again!

Trailer Tent - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2022 This site is such a good find. Fantastic facilities, with plenty of showers and toilets that were all spotless. Play area and an outdoor games area for children and families and large pitches with gorgeous views. Birchover is lovely for a wander with 2 nice pubs and a walk up to the 9 ladies standing stones, that is pretty special. We will be back.

Medium Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Jul 2022 Super friendly and clean site. The toilets and showers are forever getting cleaned and the bins around the fields are always getting emptied!
We stayed for a 9th birthday celebration and the fair and balloons setting off were just fab.
Will return again as always, the scenery is beautiful.

Medium Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Jul 2022 Great site. Lovely and clean. The staff are all very helpful. Great showers that are free. Nice and hot too. Really nice to see the peacocks roaming free around the campsite. Will definitely be back.

Large Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Jul 2022 As a group of friends, we were struggling to find somewhere that allowed us to stay! Barn Farm was great, had lots of amenities, no issues with our group of 10 all pitching next to each other and we really enjoyed our stay.

Large Tent - Family Playground Field Non Electric Pitches (Field 4) Jul 2022 Our fourth time at this site and we'll be back again. We went for the family weekend and the kids had a great time and in the evening the band was the perfect entertainment to end a great day.

Great stay
Small Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Jul 2022 Lovely break with my son, great walks, and unexpected hot air balloons, which we enjoyed seeing them take off.
Great entertainment, maybe upgrade games room, not much for 13+.
The pizza guy was great too.
Family weekend camping
Medium Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Jul 2022 Brilliant weekend had at Barn Farm. Great that we could arrive from 12pm to pitch the tent, good pitch choices and lots of space. Check-in was quick and easy. Facilities were plentiful and clean. Kids enjoyed the park, alpacas and spotting the peacocks. On-site shop had lots of choice and was reasonably priced.
Family fun weekend was well planned and had lots of fun. Loved the band, birds of prey and the pizza was delicious.
We'll definitely be back again.
Amazing site Large Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Jul 2022 This is the second time in 4 years we've stayed as a group of families at Barn Farm and have had such a great weekend once again.
The site is perfect for families with plenty of space for the kids to run around, play area etc. The facilities are great and kept really clean, with the added bonus of hairdryers and plug sockets in the shower blocks. We stayed w/c of the 22nd which coincided with the family fun weekend comprising of live music, horse & groom bar and activities/rides for the kids, we would certainly plan our next visit around this type of event in future as it ticked all the boxes for adults & kids in our party. We also loved the added bonuses of the butty box, coffee van and pizza van on-site over the weekend. The local area is lovely and also benefits from 2 great pubs in walking distance, we ate at the Druid Inn and the food/service was great, as was the service at the Red Lion for drinks.
Cannot rate Barn Farm highly enough!
