Lovely friendly and relaxed

Lovely friendly people, really useful little shop, very clean facilities and lovely hens as well! It's actually very good value. It is very convenient for the coast path and on the bus route to Barnstaple too. Would highly recommend.

Lovely Clovelly

Lovely little site with character and chickens, what’s not to love! Karen and Nick were great hosts and the walk to the beautiful Clovelly was stunning.

An excellent stay with Karen and Nick

Karen gave us a lift from and to the visitor centre, which was appreciated as it was a steep climb! The kitchen & shop hut were great too. It stocked everything you might have forgotten. I booked a small tent pitch as a backpacker tent was not available and Karen kindly reimbursed me when I arrived.

Excellent location for a visit to Clovelly

Ideal location for visiting Clovelly. Helpful owners. Toilet & showers basic but adequate- might get busy when more campers (only 2 showers and 4 toilets). Would definitely recommend.

Nice little site with great owners

Great little site ideal for the SW coastal path. Facilities nice and clean, plenty of hot water. Owners, Nick and Karen, lovely and so helpful. Walk to Clovelly and coast path about 20-30mins. Bus to Bude and to Biddeford picks up right outside.

Great place

Stayed for one night, great place, hot water, showers, microwave, kettle. The only downside- cars from the road nearby were too loud.

Lost Aussies

Great hosts and looked after us above and beyond. Great little spot that is easy to get to and great pizza place across the road. Thanks for all the assistance you gave us and the little shop is a great idea.

A nice little campsite, friendly and close to Clovelly

This was a very relaxed, clean and quiet campsite. Owners are very friendly, making a point of checking in with people to make them feel welcome. Ideal for a visit to Clovelly. Facilities - good size pitches, and a little honesty shop was a lovely touch. Also a small communal area for people who wanted to mix with others and a couple of swings for the children.

Excellent site

We would highly recommend Roey's campsite. Very clean. The toilet area and shower area were extremely clean. Well thought out and well presented. We would definitely stay here again.

Simple, unfussy, not overdeveloped

Great spot to stay for your visit to Clovelly. We tend to leave the motorhome on site and walk or bus to local places of interest and this site provided us with both options. No pool/slides or overly child focused facilities, which suited us just fine. Though there was still plenty of space for kids to run about, plus a few good old fashioned swings. Despite being close to the road, the site was quiet during the evening/overnight. Can't vouch for daytime - we weren't there! We'd stay again.

Awesome stay

We visited this place with our 3 family groups. It's such a lovely place with lovely owners. They were very helpful throughout our stay. Our kids had a lovely time here. There were lots of fun activities nearby which are definitely worth it. Thank you.

Great little site.

We had a great stay. Lost one tent because of the weather, but after sorting tent on Facebook marketplace, we had a great rest of the week. Showers were hot and toilets were clean. Site was in a perfect spot.

Great location and friendly communication throughout

Ideally located as only minutes from Clovelly [car park] by car (same road) and a simple location with EHU and smart toilets and showers. Recommended!

Lovely little place

Such a lovely little campsite. Small, but provided exactly what we needed. Pitches were a good size, they also have a little play bit for the kids too & not forgetting the lush little pizza hut just opposite the campsite. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely campsite

Great time staying here, lovely clean facilities and the owners were great. Good place for young kids with play area. Large pitches with lots of space for kids to play. Lovely BBQ cooked on site on the Saturday night

Camping weekend

The perfect venue for our family weekend. Nothing was too much trouble and from start to finish the booking and stay were most enjoyable, despite the wet conditions.

A place of welcome

The pitch was good, slept better than I can remember. Cute toilet seats, everything nice and clean and showers hot! Our hostess was wonderful, she gave a nice welcome and she gave me a partial refund because I just had a small tent. She even drove me to a shop in the nearest village and helped me choose my breakfast. She also collected people from the path and brought us back down.

Lovely friendly campsite for a getaway

Had a great time staying with our two dogs, who were also welcomed by the lovely owners. Very informative on arrival on local amenities. Pizza van across the road is amazing!
