VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2025 What a great find.
Lucy is a first class host. Nothing too much trouble.
What struck me was, how quiet the site is considering its a farm. The large grass pitches (with hookup) have borders of long grasses that are perfect for lots of different butterfly's to colonize. Also no light pollution so perfect dark sky's.
Toilet block immaculate with huge amounts of piping hot water.
Will definitely be returning.

Great walking area and lovely walk across the common to the Old Lodge pub for superb food, service and setting!

Stay at Tobacconist Farm
VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2025 We've had a lovely stay on Tobacconist Farm.
A beautiful pitch between high grass, that gives a lot of privacy. The showers and toilets are clean. We were very friendly welcomed by Lucy, the owner.
We will come back in the future.
Fantastic tranquil campsite

I stayed for 4 nights at this tranquil setting, leaving much refreshed. Lucy the site manager was fantastic.
A 5 minute walk into Minchinhampton, with a great pub and cafe. I would definitely stay at Tobbaconist campsite again.

What a little gem of a campsite

Beautiful laid out pitching areas. Water and electric at every pitch which is most unusual. Beautiful modern shower and toilet block. The quality was like home from home and spotless all the time.
Wonderful location with lots of places to visit like Tetbury, Malmesbury and further afield Cotswold towns.
We felt totally safe and chilled. There were a number of solo lady campers during our stay.
We will definitely be returning. A 5 star rating doesn't do it justice - should be 10.
Lovely campsite
Motorhome - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2025 We have stayed at Tobacconist farm campsite before and was so pleased with how clean and well run it is that we stayed again recently.
It's in easy reach of a stroll into the quaint little town of Minchinhampton which is absolutely charming.
Amazing place
VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2025 We've been all over in our van, plus camping for years between us.
Tobacconist Farm is a brilliant place, in a great location. There is always one thing that's important though, and we can honestly say this is probably the best toilet and shower block we've ever had. Absolutely spotless, plenty of options, plus a kitchen area where you can use the washing machine and kettle, with a full fridge freezer and plenty of washing up space!
Lucy is a great host, very friendly and helpful, and the couple who cleaned the block (really sorry, didn't catch your names!) were very helpful and friendly too, even suggesting places to walk etc. We will definitely be back!

Nice quiet site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2025 We loved this site. Lucy was really welcoming and hospitable. We had 3 vans and she made sure we were grouped together.
Showers and toilets were really clean. 5 mins walk away there The Crown pub with decent food and a well stocked general store. Also a butchers and cafe.
Minchinhampton is a lovely little village. We did some nice dog walks and the cycling was great.
Will be back.

The host was cheerful and efficient. Location was superb, within walking distance of the beautiful village with it's extensive walks on the moor.

Jun 2025 Lovely campsite, serene and peaceful with lovely natural spacious pitches a great location to explore the beautiful surrounding area.

Very spacious and well maintained, immaculate facilities - a very well run campsite. Ideal location, great pub and cafe close by, central location for excellent walks.
This was my third visit and I'd definitely stay again!

Gem of a site
VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2025 An absolute treasure of a site. Small with excellent facilities. The pitches were spacious and private separated by berms and areas of wilding flora. An immaculate adults only site with excellent toilet and shower facilities with more hot water than I've ever experienced.
Welcomed on arrival by Lucy, for whom nothing was too much trouble, and shown to our pitch. Highly recommended and we will definitely return.
A really great campsite
Medium Tent - Paddock Grass Tent Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2025 Nice quiet site with excellent pitches and good clean and well maintained facilities.
Lots of showers and WCs, with plenty of hot water, paper towels and loo roll.
The site is dog friendly and has a nice enclosed woodland dog walking area.
It's a short walk from the site into Minchinhampton which is a pretty market town and where there is a convenience store, pub, bakehouse and a very nice Italian cafe / restaurant.
Lucy the site owner is charming, extremely helpful and readily on hand.
All in all, one of the best sites we've stayed on and we would heartily recommend it for anyone seeking a peaceful, relaxing and fuss free stay in this lovely part of the UK.

We would like to say thank you to Lucy, for running a great little site. And we really appreciated the local information she gave us. Which enabled us to have a lovely day walking around the common.
Lucy was very polite and friendly and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely peaceful campsite in great location
VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric May 2025 We really enjoyed our 3 nights stay.
We were welcomed and shown to our booked pitch. The campsite was peaceful and quiet, being adults only. The facilities were good and always clean. Lovely hot showers with good pressure.
The weekend was busy, so queues for the 3 unisex showers. A well equipped kitchen, with fridge/ freezer, washing machine and kettle. Ali charging sockets. Would have been nice to have a hair dryer. Really appreciated the washing line for hanging wet towels.
We loved the location with lots of walks and beautiful villages around. We will be back!
Tranquil site
Single Axle Caravan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric May 2025 Lovely peaceful site with nice spacious pitches, no rigid pitching rules. Set in a beautiful location. Just be careful sat nav doesn’t send you through the village or some of the narrow lanes around the site if you’re towing.
