Close to the pubs in Brockenhurst. Lovely to be in the New Forest and ponies close by.

Nice pitches all be it one side is the better side with sun coming up and open forest to look over. The middle is a little congested but good pitches again. And the left side that we stayed on was more secluded and covered by trees. Only downside is the road is noisy day and night.
Unfortunately, second night was marred by some drunken boys/girls around 11:30pm. Felt for the people closer to them. Not sure how you'd report it, but shouting and swearing with kids about spoilt it a bit. Apart from that, it was chilled happy atmosphere.
Definitely go back and recommend.
There's a little shop that does some essentials that not really advertised. Milk, charcoal, snacks, ice cream etc.

Quiet at night, lovely and clean facilities, great for children to play.
Flat areas for tents and lots of nooks for privacy. Tranquil area amongst the trees and horses. Definitely recommend.

The location was lovely, we walked for miles, saw ponies and deer. It was a busy site but still felt like we had escaped into the forest.
Will def visit again.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Came off ferry from France to drive home. Needed to stop as tired. Found campsite on line and booked easily. Thought oh just stay a night as seemed remote. Info was waiting for us (as after 8 and wardens finish shift). Easy to follow. My goodness it was an enormous forest and eventually picked a spot.
It was so beautiful!! Ponies wandering around the van and a view of trees and fields! We booked another night and walked to nearby village, Lovely! Dog enjoyed the walks and nearby river.
Facilities fab. Hot water, clean. We did our holiday washing. Staff were all amazing!
Will be back!!
Bit overpriced Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 The location of the campsite is perfect, great walks, lots of woodlands & wild animals, and a couple of towns which can be walked to. The staff were all really polite and helpful when I interacted with them, and were always smiling.
The campsite itself is one which lacks any real organisation. As a result of this, you can end up in a position (like we did) where you are spending a good 30 minutes stalking around a packed campsite looking for somewhere to pitch.
There is a 6m rule but this is not enforced so, if they are fully booked, the chance is that you will end up with someone closer than 6m. Sadly, we were next to a group of people who were playing music and literally having competitions to see who could fart/burp the loudest.
There is a 'quiet after 10pm' rule which, again, is not enforced. As a result, there were multiple large groups having what sounded like festivals until the early hours of the morning.
There are two toilet/shower blocks. They both have around 7 toilet and shower cubicles with a urinal in the middle. They are not regularly cleaned (from my experience) and the toilets do not flush properly which drastically increases your chances of being met by someone else's business and having to dispose of it yourself.
The showers I used were both lukewarm and one of them was so awkwardly placed I had to press up against the wall to wash my right hand side. They were all filthy with leaves, dirt, used pants and general grubbiness.
A lot of the issues here could be solved really easily by using an allocated pitch system where the campsite separates pitches into pre-designated spaces and then allocates spaces on booking. This would solve the issue with not respecting the 6m apart rule and would save visitors having to go on a mad scramble to get a spot. Having someone regularly inspect the toilets and showers. Having someone on site throughout the night and doing rounds on the campsite every hour or so to calm down those who are being noisy/disrespectful.

The campsite is in the trees ponies cows wander around. Amazing walks for the dog. Birds galore, can I say more.
Well I loved it. I think this will be a place I will return to for tranquillity.

Stunning campsite with loads of space
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 This was our first time camping and we had 2 dogs with us as well and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay.
On entry, there was no wait time and the staff were friendly and helpful, giving lots of information for where we could pitch our tent. The fact that there are no assigned pitches is great, we were able to choose where we set up.
We found a great spot and pitched up. Our first evening there, we had set up our wind breaks incorrectly (enclosing our tent) but the staff that spoke to us were polite and friendly, explaining why they couldn't enclose our tent. We had a fantastically wet day on the Saturday but the staff kept all the facilities clean and tidy. The only downside with the rain was that as first time campers, we chose a place where the rain pooled a bit, but that's ok, our tent (more like a tent boat) kept us perfectly dry. We didn't order a pool view but it was a lovely perk.
The Sunday was beautiful and sunny, so we went for a walk with the dogs and within 10-15 minutes of ambling through the woods, we were in Brockenhurst, a lovely place with plenty of shops and a train station if you wanted to go further afield. It was a lovely place to stay with good, clean facilities and really lovely staff.
If you're camping for the first time or a returning camper, this site is perfect.

All the facilities were clean and well-maintained. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the local area, offering great tips and recommendations. A perfect base for exploring the New Forest.

Jun 2025 What a lovely camping site, friendly staff wonderful to wake up to horses roaming around freely and deer too.
Have hot water showers and laundry and lockers to charge electronics. Pet friendly. Had a wonderful stay.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 Great campsite, perfectly placed to explore the New Forest area. Well maintained site and nice to have free choice where you pitch.
The facilities were very clean, warm and well stocked with loo roll and soap. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Fairly near the road but it was quite quiet at night and the upside is that it is easily walkable to the pubs in Brockenhurst.
A great stay and we would definitely return.

Great access to hiking and cycle trails and easy walking or cycling to Brockenhurst. Facilities perfectly adequate and clean. Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Very kind staff who welcome you into the campsite. Clean showers and toilets that are regularly cleaned. Good clean washing up facilities.
Woke up on first morning early by the wild ponies. Three came in that day and stood next to the awning. The next day by a loudly mooing cow. Bank holidays can be very busy and it was hard to find a spot as I arrived later, even thought I'd booked but it wasn't impossible. Good little shop and friendly staff.
Some internet around the main entrance but as you go into the campsite there is none, there is also no phone signal. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place.

Lovely, spacious site
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 This site is lovely and spacious and you get to pick your own pitch amongst the trees. Campers are asked to be at least 6 metres from each other, so it didn't feel crowded. The site had lovely views, plus ponies and cows wandering around as there's direct access to grazing areas and the forest.
Facilities were clean and plentiful. We did go mid week so it could be busier at weekends, but would recommend the site.

Top tip: pitch up facing the field away from the road ;)
