Hill cottage farm

Stayed here for 6 nights, the site is well thought out and the fshs pitches are spacious with hedges separating each pitch. Good dog walk around the site, staff are very friendly, nice hot showers. The Thai restaurant on site was really nice👌. The on site shop is stocked with the basics.

Super site

Literally have no bad things to say, immaculate site, staff inspect each pitch as campers leave and are sprucing it up for the next arrivals. Runs like a well oiled machine, lovely plots spacious and well serviced. Any questions addressed immediately, either face to face or email. Fordingbridge very quaint.

Hill cottage farm stay

Me and my friends had an amazing time here, the facilities were constantly clean and the area was lovely. Everyone was so friendly, the sites are nice and spacious and the walk to the village was lovely!

Fantastic site, facilities clean, very private pitch

One of the best sites we have stayed ,clean spacious, private, lovely and extremely well maintained, good location.

Lovely stay! Five stars!

Easy check in/ arrival with ANPR. Easy pay system for the electric hook ups. We only used 11p with a number of lights running for a few hours, a couple of kettle brews and x2 phones charging in a tent over 2 nights. Nice soft soil, so easy tent set up. Toilets were modern and clean all the time. Showers were hot. The Thai restaurant was AMAZING! Great service, friendly staff and wonderful food. Wonderful walk around to the small village through the forest. On site shop has everything you need. There's a freezer and washing machine if you need. Overall, a really wonderful stay. We would recommend this campsite to others and especially families.

Beautiful campsite

Campsite was so lovely, clean & grounds were spotless. First time caravanners, very easy to book, online service, easy self check in, barrier recognises your number plate. Had emails week before & the booked week explaining plot number, hook up, contact details etc. Facilities, services & grounds were excellent. Thai restaurant, shop & laundrette onsite, even a lovely woodland walk. Well maintained, will definitely be returning, thank you x

Beautiful Site

Weekend away

Beautiful little campsite

What beautiful and clean site. Perfect location for exploring the New Forest. Toilets and all facilities were very clean. Showers were nice and warm. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. The two ladies who looks after the site, lend us an extension for the electric hook up, free of charge, as ours was faulty. Most site would charge you for that. We are definitely coming back. Thank you.

Very clean site. Very organised system of self pitching, but missed the personal interaction with staff.

Fab caravan site

Fab campsite and great base for the beach and other places to explore. Everyone was really friendly. The site was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay Would definitely come again x

Great stay

Great park. Would love to see the kids play park a little bigger. Everything was spotlessly clean. Really enjoyed our stay.

Nice location, painful having a shower

Overall, a nice location and a well kept site. Sadly, unable to enjoy a nice shower as they have the press button ones and someone decided that 5 seconds was the amount of time to set it for, so no sooner do you take your hand off the press button and it has stopped. So you essentially have to have a one handed shower, with the other hand keeping the button pressed in. I've never seen a shower left on, so just don't understand why places have these other than to try and force you to have the shortest shower possible to save them money which, when you are paying £40 a night, you should be able to have a shower for as long as you want! We also had a hard standing pitch right by the barrier entrance and toilets. This meant a lot of traffic crunching the gravel as they come and went, feet from our caravan all day and night. Always surprises me you pay the same amount for the worst positioned pitch in the park as you do the best.

Fab campsite!

Me and my partner have just come back after spending a few days here. We had a lovely stay, the showers and toilet black are very clean. The showers are individual rather than in a block which I much prefer. Restaurant on site that is open wed-sat and also do collection, very good prices too. A couple of lakes to fish on which are small but really nice. Reception have a small shop inside. Staff incredibly friendly and we actually made friends with a couple who we are now arranging a camping trip with. A village called Burley I would highly recommend witchy shops and hippy shops and a nice cafe. Highclliff just 30mins from the campsite with a lovely beach. Honestly cannot fault the place and we will definitely be returning. Everyone was so nice, the whole campsite very well maintained. Can't wait to return.

Lovely family weekend camping trip

Lovely peaceful campsite with everything you need for a fun family weekend. Simple self check in instructions, clean and tidy pitches. Easy route to the pub and out for walks. Our only con was not being able to adjust the temperature of the showers. The water was scorching late at night and my children couldn't get under the water to have a proper shower, even in the "family room".

Fabulous time! Can't wait to go back!

Myself and my boyfriend had a fabulous stay. The grass metered electric pitch was huge. The grass was level. We were situated at pitch 35. I had asked upon booking to be close to the toilet block and I was! It was directly opposite. Said block also contained washing-up area, showers, family/baby changing room, washing machines and freezer. All of these areas were immaculately clean. I didn't have a shower (baby wipes for the win) as a couple of people had told me that the water was very hot and as someone with highly reactive sensitive skin, very hot showers are a no-go for me. The freezer come in very handy to put ice for drinks and to re-freeze ice blocks for our cool box. We had dinner in the Thai restaurant Friday night - absolutely delicious! The staff working there were cheerful, welcoming and accommodating. There's a coffee stall - the coffee is superb! So lovely to wake up and have a proper oat milk latte. The site in general is kept to a very high standard and the lay out is great. Reception was easy to find, everything is signposted clearly. The metered electric was easy to understand to use - In our whole stay, we used just over a £1 - blowing up an air bed, electric cool box, charging phones/devices. The shop in reception has a great little selection of essentials. We went to Morrisons (15 min drive), shop was used for ice which was forgotten! The other people on site were lovely. We got chatting to a few people - shout out to the couple next to us who, gave us water whilst we were setting up our tent! The atmosphere was friendly. No late night noise, just the sounds of nature - perfect! This was my second time camping. I'm still very new to this. Hill Cottage made this experience very enjoyable. My boyfriend and I have already said we will be coming back in the summer.

Lovely campsite

Lovely warm welcome from lady in reception when we arrived. We popped back up to see if we could change our pitch as it was too windy to get the bar b going. She was kind and managed to find us another pitch that was perfect for us. It's a lovely campsite... huge spaces, some with hedges for privacy and WiFi available in some areas. Toilet and showers immaculate at all times. Grass nicely mown. The bird song was out of this world...absolutely beautiful. There's a really good dog walk around the outside of the fields ...which was also really well maintained. Everyone was very friendly. We were in a motorhome on a serviced pitch...we will definately stay here again when up this way. Very close to Ringwood and only 45 mins approx from Exbury Gardens....perfect...thank you to all the staff, from Bob and Carol Walker

Brilliant time

We had a brilliant stay at this campsite. The place is really friendly and the staff were friendly. The shower and toilet blocks were very clean and the grounds are spotless. The maintenance team keeps the site well maintained and clean. There's lovely walks in the woods and three ponds to see. We will definitely be going back and the young woman who at a coffee stall was a added bonus.

Absolutely lovely!

1st visit to Hill Cottage Farm, certainly was not disappointed. Good sized pitches. We chose a fully serviced pitch. Directions and check in was a breeze. The staff were helpful. The site was peaceful and well laid out. Excellent information room including copies of directions to local shop/pub if walking. The dog walk (on lead) around meadow was nice and long but you can cut off into the first for off lead run and fun. Would highly recommend. We will be returning.

Deserves more than 5 stars

This is a 'wow' campsite. The site itself is immaculate, even down to the grass being collected when mown and not left on the ground to tread into tents, motorhomes etc. The facilities are of a very high standard and kept lovely and clean. The layout is for everybody, large open areas for tents, pitch facilities such as water and drainage are available on a huge amount of pitches. Gravel or grass, open areas or secluded, whatever you want is on this site .I thought the electricity set up was going to be a problem. You have to log on to the site and put money on your metre. This can be topped up if needed. It wasn't a problem at all. The shop is great as is the on-site Tai restaurant. The location is perfect with access to the New Forest just a few minutes drive away. Even the dog walk is amazing. We will definitely be back here and recommend it without reservation.

Campervan with awning and EHU

Good clean facilities, friendly staff, lovely woodland by the site for walking, would definitely return.

2 nights in campervan

The grass pitch was lovely very easy to access, lots of room for our campervan, drive away tent and awning. Was very easy to hook up and pay the metred electric. Ablutions are adequate with a pay to use washing machine and tumble dryer, sink area was very nice, clean and easy to use/access. The dog walk around the field was lovely and was made better seeing the horses. Awesome stay and would highly recommend to anyone.
