Amazing site and location

This has to be the best campsite I have been to in a long time. Location is stunning. The cleanliness was perfect. The restaurant at the Mercury marina was lovely and well priced. Was greeted by Sean/ Shawn, and showed to our location. Before leaving we booked again for 2 weeks time. It was so relaxing there it felt we had been there for longer than 2 days.

Lovely time at Mercury campsite

We had a lovely time at Mercury Camp site. From guy who showed us in through to the perfectly clean toilets and shower rooms. The site is well placed to us the Marina with lovely restaurant and Kayak launching. We have been to many campsites over the years and this has to be one of the best. Thank you for a lovely few days.

Motorhome stay

Peaceful site, lovely view of marina. Had a noisy couple in a tent but overall, a lovely site.

Nice, friendly staff and great site

Great stay. Very nice reception from both staff and other campers and great location. We walked up to Hamble Village for food and drink at The Kings and Queens (lovely food!) and finished off at the Mercury Marina Bar. My only gripe was the shower tray was not clean at all and didn't drain well. The cubicle was later locked so I reckon staff were aware. But, this didn't detract from a great place that we would most definitely return to.

Clean and great facilities

Value for money, clean, great facilities and a nice restaurant. This is a good experience for someone who likes glamping, but also wants to experience camping.

Campervan

Lovely, clean and quiet camping site. Very peaceful. Hooked up our campervan to the electric on a grass pitch with no issues. Clean and warm showers, inside washing up area. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a peaceful place to relax.

Really great stay, perfect pitch, beautiful walk to Hamble Square this morning. Dog friendly and quiet!

All round great site

A lovely little site next to the Marina, good sized grass pitches. Amazing views of the Marina and lots to do in the local area. Only slight down point where the showers were not adjustable and to hot most of the time. All in all, I will be returning.

Our stay

Lovely stay, love the food at the nearby rigger gaff, staff very friendly. Bit disappointed the toilets were not cleaned throughout our stay and not everyone respected that other people used them as well.

Charming peaceful site

The site was lovely and unspoilt. No traffic noise, just birds singing. Very clean loos and big showers with plenty of dry space to get changed. All amenities you need are there - washing up, laundry, ironing - though I didn't use them, it's nice they are provided for those that might. A 2 minute stroll from site is the restaurant/bar with beautiful views over the marina. Food is so good and definitely recommend the cocktails! The manager at Mercury Yacht campsite was so welcoming and offered us all sorts of advice on good places to explore locally, one of which was Hamble which has the best pasties ever! We will definitely return for a longer stay in the warmer weather.

Very pleasant site

A very pleasant site, though not much on the way of facilities in the immediate area, other than the quite pricey restaurant next door. We would be happy to use the site again.

Lovely site

Excellent, well kept site. Staff were friendly on arrival and very welcoming. Facilities were good, including heated bathrooms. Lovely 20 min walk into Hamble for food at The Bugle. Would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed so much we stayed an extra night

Lovely, well kept site - good walk in to Hamble Le Rice as no buses from site but the exercise did us good - will return.

Perfection

My friend and I stayed for 2 nights camping. It was clean and tidy. The man on reception welcomed us an showed us around and was happy to help. The toilets and showers were clean and easily accessible. It was also well lit and so peaceful. Will definitely come back again :)

Great couple of nights at this campsite in one of the bell tents!

Great couple of nights at this campsite in one of the Bell tents, which was fully equipped with everything we needed and a really comfortable stay! Kids loved the campsite and enjoyed a day out in Hamble. Facilities were great and nice and clean with hot water. Service was good and the team were very friendly and helpful. Overall we had a lovely few nights.

Lovely quiet site

Site is well maintained, close to the harbour, where there is a nice restaurant. Great shower facilities.

Enjoyed our stay

A great location and a friendly team made our stay enjoyable. We went to the Gaff Rigger to eat a couple of times and also just for a drink, the food was good and the team both friendly and attentive. The main issue with the site was the lack of facilities (toilets and showers). Whilst the touring site wasn't full during our stay, there weren't enough facilities available to cope with the numbers of people. They were tired but generally clean.

Perfect

Perfect for our one night stopover before getting the ferry from Portsmouth. Great little site in immaculate condition hosted by friendly site manager (sorry, didn't get his name). Lovely flat pitches and good facilities - showers, loos and wash up areas all in great condition and super clean. Lovely bar and restaurant nearby. So peaceful and quiet overnight. Would definitely recommend and come again.

Stunning site

Stunning site, very clean, very accommodating and polite member of staff upon arrival. A rare thing these days to be made feel welcome! This place is spot on for everyone, adults and kids. Went dead quiet after 9.30pm which was to our liking. There's a restaurant with bar nearby but we didn't try it as it was too expensive for us.

Little gem of a campsite

Lovely little camp site. Facilities very clean and tidy. Only down side was the mosquitoes. But other than that a little gem of a campsite. Amenities just round the corner and a lovely park with everything there.

Amazing campsite!

One of the loveliest sites we’ve stayed at. Quiet and peaceful. Didn’t feel hemmed in. Clean, modern facilities. As soon as I got there I knew it was going to be good!
