Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2025 When we arrived, we could choose anywhere in the field to put our tent ⛺️ up which is a great idea.
Facilities were lovely and clean. Owners came round and introduced themselves and had a chat. Which was lovely. Very safe for children.
The campsite did have a lot of road noise which was a shame, as it's a very busy main road.
£120. Was a brilliant price for 6 nights, everything else was free.

Motorhome - Non Electric Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2025 In my opinion, Stockbridge View is an excellent campsite, especially for the money.
The facilities were great, the site clean with great walks into Stockbridge and the countryside. The owner was even on site in the morning checking if everything was alright for people. A great touch.
Our dogs loved it too, we will stay longer next time.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Apr 2025 It's a nice simple campsite on the hilltops. Staff are friendly and Stockbridge is within walking distance. Would recommend this location to anyone.

Motorhome - Non Electric Grass Touring Pitches Mar 2025 Lovely little site in a nice location. The facilities are basic but very clean and all working. There is a nice little information hut with maps and guilds.
Although there were mentions of the nearby road noise, we never heard it. Met the owner on his morning rounds. Very pleasant and helpful.
First time camping
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jan 2025 This was my first time camping. I picked this site purely because it was close by, and if I didn't enjoy it, I could just pack up and go home. However, this didn't become necessary, and I had a great couple of nights.
The facilities were basic but very good and very clean. The site is near a lovely little village and easy to get to for any forgotten essentials. I was expecting the noise of the traffic on the main road next to the site to be more intrusive, but to be honest, after a little while, you just didn't notice it.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Sep 2024 If you value great toilets, showers, washing up stations, like me, then this is the place for you! Great little spot, a bit loud as there is a busy road right next to the field. Overall, a great place for camping!

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2024 Everything was perfect, or almost perfect. I was there just for one night with my wife, we booked for one pitch for our car + our tent. The field is very large, you can have enough space to get comfortable. The only problem was that the field is just next to the road, and driver are passing very quickly, what was very loud. But we managed to sleep correctly without problems.
Showers and toilets were cleaned.
Pleasant and convenient
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Touring Pitches Jul 2024 The campsite was easily accessed from the road, the facilities were basic and very clean, own choice of place to setup. Plenty of room between each camper.
The walk to the small town of Stockbridge was quiet and off road. The town had plenty of pubs, bars and cafes to seem not overcrowded. All in all, this was a pleasant and convenient site.

Nice, well spaced out, campsite with clean facilities and very hot showers.
Firepit and picnic benches at the pitch, perfect for our group camping trip.
The owners walked around a couple times a day to check everything was ok which was nice 😀

Motorhome - Non Electric Grass Touring Pitches Jun 2024 This was our first time at Stockbridge view and we loved it. In our view, this is just how a campsite should be - few rules, lovely area, amazing toilets and showers. Very relaxed and great for a family get together.
We will definitely be back and will be recommending to friends and family.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2024 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I'd particularly like to mention the group of young men that also stayed on Sunday night. They were incredibly thoughtful and a pleasure to be near. I am a mum of similar age young adult children and would be super proud if these lads were mine. No foul language, lots of fun, music played at a sensitive volume, quiet by 10pm. No idea if this feedback can be passed on but I'd love them to know. Well done chaps.
Pleasant overnighter
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches May 2024 Pleasant campsite just outside Stockbridge. We diverted from our cycle trip on the Wessex Way as this was the nearest convenient campsite. If you are travelling by bike or walking, use the footpath that starts just past the school to reach the site to avoid the dreadful main road.
Great first camping trip
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches May 2024 Stayed close to home as a test for our dogs first camping trip. Campsite was in a lovely location and was great to pick your own pitching spot. People around us helped and were very friendly. Facilities were clean and easily accessible. Will come back again!
Little gem in Hampshire
Single Axle Caravan - Non Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2024 Easy to find, flat open ground and new showers and toilets. Short walk to Stockbridge and a friendly, approachable owner. Road noise during the day, but very little at night.

Toilet / shower facilities were very clean, plus the W/C chemical disposal facilities were both great and very needed. Yes,it's essentially a field, but it's a lovely field with everything you need.

Cost effective and great location
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Hardstanding Pitches Mar 2024 Nice, short walk into town and clearly labelled from site. Toilets are compost but clean. Nice space, hoping to come back again in the summer with our kids! Good pub in town too with lovely food.
