Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 Very nice and clean location was central drive to a beach or town. Can hear the motor way.
Landlord of the pub nice enough, more of a pit stop for the ferry than a weekend break.

Very relaxing serene site
Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 The proprietor was very helpful & welcoming.
The site was very clean & quiet and an ideal place if you want just to chill out for a few days , with some lovely walks through the fields & village all equipped with the most quaint church.
Bonus is the boot fair that is on Sundays - will definitely be visiting again.
Cute and perfect for a one night stop over
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 It's was perfect for a one night stop over. In the countryside, but easy access to places.
The pub was lovely, clean and the owner was kind. Kindness goes far. The food was great and he was accommodating to my 5 year old.
Shower was warm and clean, toilets were clean, pitch was a good size.

Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 We arrived a little early, which was not a problem as we had a drink in the well stocked bar, we were shown the pitches and allowed to choose which one we wanted.
The toilets and showers were perfectly clean and also heated, we were there for 2 nights so ate in the pub both days, the food was great, nice staff, the beer was cold, what more could you want?

The owner great and friendly. He would help with anything you needed.
There was no facilities for disabled. I found the shower not good for anybody with a disability or older.
Great stopover & friendly pub
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 We had one night & it was a really good spot. The toilets & shower are a bit basic but clean and functional. We enjoyed a very good roast in the pub, which was very friendly and welcoming.

Ok for a night before heading off to Dover but would be a bit bleak for anything else. Grey waste unpleasant.

Food was amazing in the pub.
Live music on the Sunday had us all singing along while we rested.
Perfectly located for Margate and Dover and all the amazing wonderful sites around.
Holiday
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Just a perfect place to stop. Wonderful village close to go for walks in. Pub was fantastic and our hosts were so friendly.
We were able to get to know our fellow campers easily as we were closer together. Electric hook up for the motorhome, so couldn't have asked for more.

Camping Pod - Ensuite Glamping Pods Aug 2024 Neat, transit mini campsite where you can also rent a cabin.
Cabin was neat and clean with private sanitary facilities. We only found that the pocket spring of the mattress was a little less comfortable. Highly recommended if you are passing through.
Stopover place
Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Small campsite alongside a pub. The pub serves food and the staff are pleasant.
Two toilets and two showers on site. Clean and functional. Play area nearby for children but nowhere on site to stretch out. The pitches are close together.
This place is suitable for a stopover on the way to the ferry. Not suitable for a holiday destination. The site is really close to Dover port. 15 mins drive.
Convenient camping near the coast
Small Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Lovely little site, well kept and conveniently located near the coast, some road noise but that’s the trade off for the convenience of the location.

Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Site was good and near where we needed to be for a couple of nights. Toilet and shower facilities were a bit limited but very clean. The caravans and campers are a bit crammed on but overall, we loved it.
Only downside, we asked our friends over for dinner - the pub is not what we thought it would be having stopped on other pub sites - very limited menu, so starters or puddings, just 4 basic mains options and 4 'specials'.
Extremely friendly staff - we were greeted on site, treated like royalty and the lady (don't know her name) was attentive, cheerful, helpful and lots more! Our dogs were also welcomed enthusiastically so yes, we would stay again!

Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches May 2024 Very helpful and friendly host. Great location for the ferry. A little noisy from the main road at first but not during the night. Showers lovely and clean but could do with improvement.
Half term break away
Camping Pod - Ensuite Glamping Pods May 2024 Lovely place and lovely pods. It would be an perfect stay away, however, the mattresses in the pods are very old and you could feel each string. By the third night, my back was in so much pain. It was very uncomfortable to sleep.
Otherwise, the place was super clean, facilities excellent. Lovely area - very close to the beach.
When/If they upgrade their mattresses, I would definitely return.
Overnight camping
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches May 2024 We enjoyed our overnight stay here. The site is spotlessly clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and the pub grub was delicious. The showers were the best we’ve experienced at a campsite….powerful, hot and doesn’t have a time limit.
