Based on a quiet working farm, Shay Gate Farm Campsite looks out over countryside with access to great walks and bike rides. It's a dog and family friendly spot, 20 minutes from Skipton and 30 minutes from the beautiful Forest of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. For keen walkers and hikers, the Pennine Way is also only 20 minutes away. Campfires are welcome too, perfect for an evening under the stars!

If you like clean, well maintained, basic sites with friendly owners, this is for you. It's got all you need. It's clean and well maintained, the toilets are pleasant to use and the showers and washing up facilities are very clever. It is in a lovely location in easy walking distance of at least one nice pub/restaurant, and the people who run the place are really nice.

Shay Gate Farm is a lovely campsite with everything you need on site. The staff are friendly and helpful too. This was our first camping trip and we loved it. Will definitely be going back.

Lovely peaceful spot and stunning views. Chosen as near home for a little one night stay, but lots to do if you're not from the area to fill a few days. Showers were fast flowing and hot which was great, and I love the site's quiet hours of 10pm to 8am. Grass was lovely and soft. Not one stone to contend with when pitching!

We had a wonderful stay at Shay Gate Farm Campsite, it had great facilities and the campground itself was well kept and in a great location. It was really nice looking out over the countryside. Our 3 year old son loved running about freely and we felt safe letting him do so. Will return again.

Lovely, peaceful site with great facilities. Toilets were very clean and it is a very well maintained site. Will definitely be going back for a 2nd visit.
