Lovely site

Really enjoyed our 2 night stay. Lovely site, clean and peaceful. Toilets & showers very clean - can't fault the place. That's why we have booked again in a couple of weeks time to go back. Can highly recommend it. Nigel & Emma

What a lovely site

Cannot say a bad word about this site. The grounds and toilet blocks are spotless and I mean spotless. Pitches are well kept and can clearly see love and joy goes into the upkeep of it. The woods on site are beautiful and relaxing, sat by your van. You can hear the animals enjoying their habitat and hear cows in working farms nearby. The views around the site are stunning. There are a few supermarkets withing a 5 minute drive, which is handy. Ribchester village is only a 10/15 minute walk. The path is small with some of the bushing overgrowing, we walked into Ribchester village and got a taxi back to site for 6 pounds using Uber, as one of the landladies said their local firm charges more. I will definitely be back.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Remember that the bus stops at the end of the drive which is very handy if you're in a Campervan or motorhome.

Wonderful gem of a site

What a wonderful gem of a site this is. Great access to pitch, wonderful clean toilets and showers (ladies showers are massive but the gents are a little cramped), a lovely woodland walk that’s not just for dogs and a great chilled vibe. 20 minute walk into Ribchester along a road but there is a pavement all the way. Ribchester has three great pubs and there are loads of walks around. We will definitely be back!

There's lots of walks and we have some leaflets on display too. The ladies showers are larger as most of the time it's the mums and grandmas who supervise the youngsters. Look forward to seeing you again soon.

Lovely site

Beautiful site, lovely woodland walks, very clean facilities and grounds kept lovely. Went for a walk into Ribchester, but all uphill coming back and very narrow footpath. Had a lovely meal in the Ribchester pub will be going back.

Can't recommend this site enough. Lovely views, great location for a cute little village. Dog walk immaculate. Site immaculate. Shower block clean and tidy. Very well kept lawn areas. Local for me so will return for a cheeky weekender!

Lovely, peaceful site

Lovely site, close to ribchester and nice walks. Only downside is no grey waste drain (suggested to put on plants - harder to do with a motorhome). Would definitely stay again.

Thanks for your comments. Many motorhome clients use a container to hold the grey water and then use the water to keep our plants and shrubs looking great. As the site is on a water meter this is much appreciated.

Excellent stay

Had a wonderful 2 days. Ideal as very quiet in the area we were in, we chose our own pitch. Wooded dog walk just across from us. The site is beautifully maintained with immaculate garden. Can't recommend highly enough, will definitely be back.

Excellent 2 night break

Had a great 2 night stay, really lovely site, with great dog walk on site (even saw deer). Facilities were great as was Catherine. Lovely walk across fields into the village (was a bit too hot when we went). We will return.

Gem of a caravan site

Just had an amazing stay at Dale Hey Caravan Site. Initially booked for 3 nights, enjoyed it that much booked an extra 3 nights which made 6 in total. Even though it was the Easter Holidays, the site was very quiet. Well set out, immaculately looked after. Short walk into the village with 2 excellent pubs and a convenience store there. Bus stop right outside the site which we took to Clitheroe. Owners are so friendly and helpful. Very highly recommended.

Great site

We had a great caravan stay. Arrival was straight-forward with key card at reception. Access to the pitch was easy with ample room. Hardstanding was level and 10amp EHU was no problem. Great woodland walk for dogs, perfect for us for early morning and late night dog exercise. The toilet and shower block is very clean and well managed. The grounds are well kept as well, grass mowed and plants waiting to bloom soon. We will definitely recommend it here. Catherine and John are great hosts.

Really lovey site and will stay again. Owner, Catherine, is friendly, helpful and keeps the site looking lovely! A perfect little part of the world.

Lovely clean site

A lovely location with excellent facilities on site. Very clean and a well maintained shower block. Unfortunately the weather wasn't good and the dog had a bad foot, so we couldn't walk far.

We look forward to seeing you when the weather is better and your dog is recovered. There are many walks either from the site or a short drive away. Leaflets are in the information point near the house.

Lovely campsite in a great location for county walks and a short distance from Ribchester town centre Lovely, clean, friendly site, close to beautiful Ribchester. Would definitely recommend.

Winter weekend

We had a very good couple of nights stay. Warm welcome from a very friendly and relaxed owner. The facilities were excellent and exceptionally clean. Shower room was nice and warm. Location for us was excellent and I would recommend the site at any time of the year. Thank you
