Clear filters Wonderful, farm shop and tea room are lovely
Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches May 2024 Wonderful stay. Really helpful owners, nothing was too much trouble.
The farm shop and tea room opposite the campsite do amazing homemade food and the staff in there are lovely. The farm shop sells all local produce and a great GF selection too. The pub is within walking distance, but only opens Friday and Saturdays generally. Farm shop hires fire pits etc.
One toilet and one shower on the field, but we didn't use the facilities as we have our own. Beautiful village and ideal lanes for cycling as it's quiet. Due to the rain we had, the field was muddy but when a van got stuck, the farmer came with his tractor and towed out - again all part of the friendly service.
We would def recommend and will go back.

Great site in a small village!
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Mar 2024 Great site in a small village!
Just what you want if you want to get away from it all.
There is a café/restaurant run by the site just across the road, had an amazing breakfast there.
They also have a fabulous farm shop with everything you would need.
The toilet and showers were super clean and very modern, even had a heater in there for those colder days.
The village has a lovely pub just a couple of minutes walk from the site offering good food and drink, well worth a visit if staying on the site.
We will be back for sure many times more. Highly recommended.

Lovely Site!
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Mar 2024 A lovely site with really kind, friendly and helpful staff.
There are some nice walks around the village of Catthorpe, for example, walks to the remains of Motte & Bailey castle at Lilbourne and a second castle mound just outside Lilbourne.
The site has a farm shop, café, etc and the Cherry Tree pub in the village is brilliant (good food, beer and atmosphere).
We will return!

Lovely place
Aug 2023 The first trip in our new (to us) motorhome.
Lovely welcome, all staff were friendly and helpful. The café just across the road was wonderful for breakfast and the farm shop was amazing. I came back with loads of goodies from there including freshly picked fruit and veg and lovely looking meat.
There's a nice pub within walking distance in this quaint village and it's well located to several main roads. There are only two toilets/showers, but it's a small site and they were very clean and modern.
A bit on the expensive side, but we loved it and will definitely be back.

We have been able to reduce our prices for 2024 now the crazy electric prices we were being charged have come down a little bit! Hope to see you this year at some point :-)

Motorhome - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2022 We only stayed one night on this campsite. We were made very welcome. Didn't use facilities as we are self-sufficient, but had a nosey and they were lovely and clean! Absolutely fab farm shop and adjoining cafe, which we will definitely use next time we stay!

Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 I would have liked to speak to someone out of hours, but it wasn't a problem. Lovely, clean location and space.

Second visit in two weeks
Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 Great site to visit, shop and kitchen were first class - a must. The sausages are first class, so much so, I bought two packs to take home with me. The staff are above and beyond amazing. The site itself is very clean and tidy, showers and toilets were spotless.
There are two shops as you come out on the left and are well worth a visit. The two ladies in charge are very friendly and helpful. There's a pub a short walk from the site which looks really nice, but only opens Wednesday to Sunday. We'll be back again without a doubt.

Enjoyed our stay
Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 We enjoyed our stay, staff very accommodating and friendly, would go again but would have to be Tuesday to Sunday as there was a shop which doesn't open on Monday which was a shame.
I try to book places that has a shop and café so we can get something to eat and was looking forward to breakfast Monday morning, but we were told that the Cherry Tree Pub was not open on Mondays which was disappointing. Knowing this, we may have booked later in the week.
We would have loved to visit the other shop on site, The Pink Peony, but this wasn't open on Monday and coming away on Tuesday, it didn't seem to be open either.
We would have liked to have known more before we booked.

Thanks for taking time to leave feedback Derrick. Our farm shop and the farmhouse kitchen are open 7 days a week, so not sure what happened when you visited? The pub in the village isn't open Mondays and Tuesdays you are right, but we do serve food including breakfasts 9-3 everyday! We do have 2 other shops onsite that don't open on Mondays either (florist/gift shop and interiors shop). With them being small family businesses, they don't open 7 days a week. I'm really pleased that you enjoyed your stay and found our staff to be friendly and accommodating though. We hope you will still visit us again!
Nice basic site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 Nice basic site. Good for a stopover or a few nights. Farm shop and kitchen are excellent.
