About the site
The pub and campsite is run by its hands-on owners, Denise and Ian. They offer a friendly welcome in a quiet rural setting with fabulous views over the Lincolnshire Wolds. The campsite and glampsite, to the rear of the pub, have an excellent choice of accommodation from a spacious campsite with electric grass and hardstanding pitches suitable for tents, roof tents, tourers, campervans and motorhomes to a range of modern glamping pods. The camping area enjoys far reaching views with spacious pitches serviced with optional metered 16 amp electric. It's a simple, family run campsite in rural countryside with a relaxed, easy going feel. Glamping includes three fully furnished lodge pods with their own ensuite shower rooms, equipped kitchenette, double bed, sofa bed, heating, lighting, TV and outside seating. The lodge pods each sleep up to four people. Two cabin pods have toilet washrooms, a double bed, a sofa bed (or bunkbed) equipped kitchenette, heating, lighting, TV and outdoor seating. Both cabin pods each sleep up to four people. The arch pod has a double bed, single sofa bed, heating, lighting, TV and outdoor seating. There is an equipped glampers' kitchen beside the pod for guests to use. This pod sleeps up to three people. If you just want to get your head down for the night, the two man tent sized micro pod is ideal. All that is in the pod is a double mattress, lighting and sockets to charge mobile phones. The pod is beside the glampers' kitchen for that morning cuppa. The main camping and touring field is also home to a shepherd's hut which is equipped with a double bed and two single beds, heating, lighting, sockets and outdoor seating. There are three cute Hully pods on the main camping field, each offering two single beds, seating, lighting and sockets. A third person can be added along with a foam mattress, making these pods suitable for up to four people. You can eat and drink in the pub, or you can order a takeaway pizza from the pub to enjoy outside. Why not hire a fire pit and toast some marshmallows, and you have yourself a really easy camping break away with your children that they will love. All units are dog friendly, as is the pub. They are equipped for self catering, but being a pub as well, there is a host of good food and beer to be enjoyed when you want soemone else to do the cooking!
