Twin Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2025 This is the best caravan site we have been on, excellent toilet facilities, hard pitches was great even could knock awning pegs into hard pitches with ease and even could pull them out.
Launderette facilities, surrounded by forest trees.
Great stay at Sherwood pines campsite
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Come as a group of 9. Mixed ages of children and adults.
Great facilities. Up there with the cleanest toilets/showers we have experienced whilst camping. Checking in was quick and easy.
Loved being by the forest. Kids park was handy for the smaller ones.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2025 This is our second visit and we'll undoubtedly return for a third, and probably fourth… it's beautiful area in the countryside with lots to do for a family getaway or peaceful break.
Facilities are great, and the weekly pizza and fish and chips are great. Fairly quiet, and help always feels nearby if needed.
My only feedback would be lack of bar/pub, which would've be a welcome addition, however, it's nice that it isn't geared towards drinking sessions, so it doesn't effect my 5/5 rating.

Very good if you have dogs, very well catered for.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2025 My family and I spent 3 nights here this weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
It is walking distance to the visitor centre which has a load of walks around Sherwood Pines, as well as toilets and a café. The site has direct access onto Sherwood Pines walks.
2 nights a week, they have food vans that come to the site, which is great! The facilities are clean and modern. The play park is great for kids and our kids really enjoyed making loads of friends and being able to ride their bikes around the site.

Lovely site
Twin Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Mar 2025 The site is situated in the middle of the woods so it's very scenic.
The wardens on site were exceptionally helpful, probably the friendliest set of people I've met during all my years of caravanning. There's a great pub just down the road called the Dog and Duck.
The only thing that would make it better would be an adult section. We weren't even near the play area and yet, the number of children that were biking backwards and forwards, shouting to one another was bad enough, but the parents seemed to be constantly shouting at the kids, which kind of ruined the peaceful setting.

Half term break
Feb 2025 What a fantastic stay, hassle free on arrival, the hardstanding pitch was huge.
We had a great walk up Golden Cap Hill. Can't wait to come back, absolutely faultless.

Lovely friendly staff, excellent clean facilities, fantastic location.

Having 3 clumber spaniels, the dog wash was a godsend, as were the tumble dryers. We will definitely stay again

Staff are super friendly and helpful. Facilities are excellent.
Great little site
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Nov 2024 Our first trip away during one of the major storms last autumn. Snow on the ground the first day and gales and heavy rain the next.
Arrived to be met by friendly wardens who allowed us to pick pitch 3 which was level hardstanding. Toilets and showers clean and fit for purpose. Shop had a coffee machine and some essentials. Pizza van came on Friday night and was good. Too wet to do much walking so a taxi at £7 each way to local Dog and Duck pub which had great food and beer.
Nice, clean and well structured site and will visit again in better weather.

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Nov 2024 Great site in a fantastic location and brilliant position to access Sherwood Forest.
Our dog loved the long beautiful walks around the forest. The site is very clean and the toilets are spotless.

The facilities were spotless! We spent hours walking around the forest. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back.
