Sprinter-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches May 2025 We stopped in a hired campervan for two nights just to try out the experience! The site was exactly as described online.
Excellent new facilities in lovely grounds. We don't fish, but I guess if you do, it's amazing to fish in front of your van!

Twin Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches May 2025 Not much to say to be honest, they've got it worked out. Fabulous site with the best facilities by far.
Even when they were having some work carried out there was no disruption. Well worth a visit.
We're not into fishing, but can clearly see the attraction.

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches May 2025 Booking and joining instructions very efficient, reception greeting was helpful and friendly.
Such a lovely, picturesque site, we do not use the fishing lakes, but that made no difference to the enjoyment. Lovely walks amongst the woods, easy access to Stretton.
Toilet block was the best we have ever experienced.
Great to wake up to see the ducks on the lake and hear the birdsong.

Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Apr 2025 As first time caravanners, this site was everything we wanted and more. Site was immaculate, bathrooms/shower rooms were modern, clean and very well maintained.
The site was secure and very well maintained. I would highly recommend a stay at Stretton Lakes.

The directions in the welcome email were most confusing but still found the site without too much trouble.
Fab site
Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Mar 2025 It has to be the cleanest site that we have ever stayed at (apart from the goose mess!).
The loos and showers were exceptional! Difficult to comment on the service as we only saw someone when we booked in but she was very helpful. A great place for the dog too, plenty of walks where they could go off lead. Also, good place to visit Rutland Water from.
Great location
VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Mar 2025 We booked this place as a first test in our recently renovated VW Camper.
The site is well laid out around several lakes. The pitch was perfectly level with a good amount of space on the gravel section. Our pitch benefited from a lot of open space behind for our dog to enjoy. The facilities are excellent. The shower block is one of the best I have been in. I tried a bit of fishing during our stay and was lucky enough to catch a couple of fish.
We will definitely be coming back.

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jan 2025 I booked a one night stay for our first overnight stop in our new motorhome.
The site is very clean, the shower block has 6 individual shower rooms with toilet and sink. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Peaceful
Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Dec 2024 Came here to escape the New Year's fireworks, we never heard a thing, the dogs were totally relaxed. The down side no was Wi-Fi.
Overnight stay

Superb 5 star showers.

Awesome site
VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Dec 2024 Di n I found this site to be the best site we've ever stayed on for it's well organised with so much information available of places to visit even though we just hiked about on foot over the three days.while we were there.
The fersilities were excellent in all aspects 👍.
I would just like to suggest that a small light at the bottom of the four steps would have been nice because when one comes out of the shower block one blocks the outside light out putting the steps into darkness which my companion missed the bottom step causing her to fall n injured her knee but she survived the ordeal other then that we both enjoyed our stay n will go again 👍 Dave n Di

Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Dec 2024 Our first weekend away in our first caravan. Very clean and very nice site. Very friendly staff on site, very clean showers and toilets.
Will look at coming back in spring as they are open all year round.
Excellent facilities
Large A-class or Tag Axle Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Nov 2024 Really easy to find and straight off the A1. There is a single track road leading to the site, it was quite short and easy to navigate. The pitch was easy to find and park in, it was almost level, only needed levelling ramps at the front. The water and electric on the pitch was so easy to connect.
The shower block is brilliant, it's really high quality and in super clean condition. It could do with slightly more items in the shop, maybe some more fresh products although we were able to get an Uber delivery twice!
Outstanding site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Oct 2024 Without hesitation the cleanest most luxurious shower block I have ever used, beats luxury hotels never mind campsites!
The site itself is great, there is electric and water, flat handstand pitches and a lovely wee fishing lake. I was here for a weekend on a work related course, but if you're in this area then I cannot recommend this site enough.

Also, really nice surroundings for dog walking. The shower block is very luxurious, better than most 5 star hotels! I would very much recommend.
Stunning, adult only, luxury holiday park
Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Aug 2024 A stunning holiday park with very generous pitches. We had a hard standing pitch with grass area for sitting, a light, power and water on the pitch.
All pitches have a lovely view of various fishing lakes which are well kept and very attractive. Plenty of wildlife to watch.
The shower block is a stunning luxury block with six unisex showers/toilets and also contains a very clean pot washing/washing up area, all very warm, new and welcoming. The site has a small shop mostly selling snacks.
Very friendly helpful staff on our arrival. A nice flat holiday site with plenty of dog walking areas plus a forest walk to the local Stretton village, only half a mile. We had a wonderful meal in the Jackson Stops pub in the village which we highly recommend, best meal of our holiday.
Only stayed one night as it was on our journey home but would definitely stay again and was the best site we stayed at during our week away. Close to the A1 and you can hear the traffic but it doesn't detract from the quality of the site.

Wonderful site
Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jul 2024 Perfect site for a peaceful getaway. Clean, modern and first class facilities.
Staff were friendly and as we were new to the area, they gave us ideas of places to visit and what was around the local area. My husband enjoyed the fishing and pleased with what he caught. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.
We will definitely be returning, but for longer next time.

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches May 2024 Very clean and tidy site. Beautiful shower block. Pitch 17 is lower than the drain, so couldn't drain grey water straight to drain. Site secluded, only one pub / restaurant 0.7 miles away, not a safe walk.
