Clear filters Lovely park
VW-Type Campervan - Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Sep 2024 Really nice park with a lovely beach, made better with the hot weather we had.
Only slight criticism is that the toilets and showers could have been cleaned more often and there were limited vegetarian options at the restaurant, which we felt was also on the pricey side for basic dishes.
Communication with the park was very good and the pitch was great. The sports bar was great and we enjoyed the beer garden and excellent service - especially nice that the barman brought all dogs water dishes over on such a hot day. All staff at the park were very helpful. We would definitely go again but avoid the restaurant and cook in our van instead.

VW-Type Campervan - Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Sep 2024 Nice site in a great location with very good facilities. Pitch was good and level, but had dificulty hammering in pegs to hold awning up. Not enough toilets, showers for amount of campers.
Very good value for money, would definitely go back again
Large Tent - Serviced Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2024 Location was ideal with lots of play areas around the site for the kids. Shop and restaurant were reasonably priced.
Swimming pool, amusement arcade, soft play area, pool table, entertainment - bingo on a night and activities for kids on a daytime. Staff were very friendly. Showers and toilets were cleaned and restocked daily.
Only downside was that the camping pitches were close to the main road, which gets very busy on a night with lorries going past frequently, but after the first night we got used to it. Also had a beach close by, which was lovely.
Very noisy site Large Tent - Serviced Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2024 Very noisy site due to proximity to A75. With a continuous stream of HGV's trundling past yards from my tent. Some of the drivers found it amusing to blast their horn at 3am also. I left early due to lack of sleep.
The site itself was quite good with decent amenities and entertainment. It was quite cramped for tents with pitches too close together. Altogether, it is not a place I would want to return to.
Fab facilities

Every single member of staff we encountered was really helpful and very welcoming! We used the takeaway one evening and the restaurant one lunch time and were really impressed with the food and service. Pizza was delicious!

Twin Axle Caravan - Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Aug 2024 This was our first time visiting the park and can only say we will be back.
We were sited on the touring circles near the toilet/shower block which was always clean and I must say modern. Good facilities on site for food and entertainment. Lots to do in the area and to explore.

The perfect weekend!
Trailer Tent - Serviced Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2024 First time camping as a family with a 6 and 3 year old. What could go wrong? Nothing, it was great!
Pitches all have electric and water tap, nice flat area and plenty of space for our 6 man tent and good space left over for either gazebo or overflow chill space. Facilities very clean and regularly serviced, though there was a toilet roll shortage for a few hours, so take a few spares just in case.
Complex a few minutes walk away has a reasonably priced restaurant and takeaway. There is a pool, sauna and gym with access included in your complimentary entertainment pass. Also has entertainment for the kids and later on, for the adults, also included. Only additions if you wanted were some activities and soft play, but was only a few quid so no big deal. We didn't need it as we had plenty to do with the inclusive activities. We did fun swim, drawing and paper aeroplanes, kids disco, and decorating photo frames.
Also, there is a little beach cove on the site which is a little steep on the walk down but a cracking spot on a nice day! For our first trip, it was excellent and we've rebooked for a couple of months time! Highly recommend.

Shop was great ands good value, lots of things to do for entertainment. The restaurant was fabulous value, and portions were big.

Camping spots are near the road so the noise takes a bit of getting used to.

Lovely place
Large Tent - Serviced Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2024 Absolutely lovely place, the kids had a great time. Lots to do, we loved the beach and the fun swim session. The only slight let down is the busy main road which was located right next to our tent, but obviously can't be helped and it didn't really disturb us too much.
Really lovely site

The only downside was we were pitched next to the trees and the crows were very vocal in the early hours, but that's all part and parcel of camping. We had a lovely stay thank you.
Very clean park
VW-Type Campervan - Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jun 2024 We stayed in camper which was right at the top of the site hard standing pitch, which was fine, but traffic noise from A75 was constant 24 hours a day and tents were even closer - how they slept I have no idea.
Overall, can't fault the site. Will return with ear plugs as once away from the top end, it is so peaceful. Just a shame that they don't have a touring part at the bottom.

Views from the coast across the Solway over to the Isle of Man are well worth it.

A great family holiday
Large Tent - Serviced Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2024 We had a great stay. Well catered for for both adults and families. The facilities were great and were extremely clean. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend to others. Look forward to re booking again.
Very pleasant Medium Tent - Serviced Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2024 Only downside was that the camping part is too close to the main road so we heard lorries go by the whole stay and the crows never shut up. I know I know, it's nature and nothing can be done, but it was the only thing we did not enjoy, so bring ear plugs.
Apart from that, the site is lovely and clean we were very happy with the site.

Medium Tent - Serviced Grass Tent Pitches May 2024 Lovely location overlooking the sea. Plenty of things for our 6 year old to do in the evening.
Showers and toilets were in good condition, with plenty of space for the camping area.
Holiday '24
Single Axle Caravan - Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches May 2024 The site was lovely. Toilets and shower facilities were spotlessly clean and there were plenty of dog walking areas.
Down side was a noisy pitch, as road noise was constant night and day. Also as we were on a high up pitch, the car was needed to get to water disposal area as too far to carry.
Not for us Motorhome - Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches May 2024 This is a beautiful park in a wonderful location and toilet blocks etc are spotlessly clean but we felt it was let down badly by a few points and for these reasons we won't go back.
1. There is no Internet on general site (only in Pub on site) unless you pay for it (which wasn't mentioned) We did pay but the quality of service was extremely poor and we ended up giving up on the WI-FI!
2. Unfortunately the park rules around loud music etc etc do not seem to be enforced. We had to endure loud parties with music blaring all day and well into the night coming from quite a few of the static vans on site, which didn't make for a peaceful break.
3. Unfortunately, the dogs on leads policy again did not seem to be enforced. There were quite a few very large dogs running around and no sign of any owners to pick up mess they left behind!
Nice park but not a good plot
Motorhome - Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches May 2024 Lovely park. Very clean and friendly staff.
The biggest bugbear was the pitch we were allocated felt like we were parked in a car park. No views of the water at all - with a big banking behind us. If we were only stopping one night, it would not have been so bad, but 3 nights with an exceptionally noisy, busy road and no view wasn't good.
The beach is a tiny sandy/shingle space
Lovely location Motorhome - Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches May 2024 Beautiful location, must be lovely with the sun.
Unfortunately not the best for motorhomes, we felt the park is too steep to comfortably walk, and the tourer area is on top of the hill. Reaching pool facilities and restaurants, and mainly coming back, it's not for everyone.
Road is also very close, with a constant lorries noise.
