Very friendly, would come again

Came on a motorcycle, the fella who runs it is very friendly and happy to have a chat with you. Very helpful when needing to locate certain things on the site. They do fresh eggs in Tyler morning as well. Plenty of farm animals in the fields and hens freely roaming around up close and personal. Views were stunning as well. Would definitely come and stay again

Great campsite. Brilliant location lovely river to cool down in ! Very nice place with lovely animals about.

Perfect stay, perfect views

Perfect stay, perfect views. Only one shower and two toilets.

Lovely little site

Campsite was a real find. Really quiet and well laid out. It could have done with a couple more showers but the one it does have is fabulous. Really helpful owner allowed our mate to pitch his tent up by our camper which was really kind and helped out brilliantly.

Amazing location, amazing price

Stayed here for 1 night in our tent box and it was a perfect nights stay. Amazing views and the price was amazing as well! Would stay again and highly recommend. :)

Lovely site

Such a friendly and welcoming site with farm animals being lovingly looked after.

Excellent campsite

Lovely quiet campsite. Big flat pitches, great views and delightful lambs in adjacent field. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent well maintained campsite

Remote well maintained campsite with basic facilities and immediate access to hills for hiking and a river for paddling. Recommend for a single night whilst travelling North or South, or for a peaceful longer stay.

Great stay

We had a great night camping at Bush of Ewes with our 9 month old daughter. Peaceful and great sized pitch areas to have the tent and car with plenty of area left to get the fire chapping.

Great campsite

A great stay for a couple of nights. Helpful owners and great for nearby walking trails.

Lovely site, friendly owners

Lovely site, friendly owners. Beautiful calm views. Loved this site, stayed for 24 hours and the views were amazing, really quiet - except the sheep 'baas', which only added to the stay. Lovely owners, very friendly. Loved that you could walk in the field amongst the animals, even had cute ducklings, the pigs loved a scratch. Only 4 stars for toilet facilities only because it is dated. However, it is clean, has hot water and always stocked. Only 1 shower. Would come again and recommend.

Great wee campsite

Great campsite. Had my wee van on a non-electric pitch. Peaceful and really scenic. Friendly owners who welcomed us despite a later than planned arrival. Decent shower. All you need really.

Peaceful, clean and friendly

This was a great last-minute booking. A quiet site to be found a few minutes drive outside of Langholm. Very clean facilities and friendly hosts.

Lovely break

Stayed for 2 nights, so peaceful and tranquil, so nice it isn't crowded. The owners are welcoming and helpful. Sheep, goats and pigs to see and chickens with fresh eggs to buy. Would stay again.

Overnight stay

First time overnight stay when visiting a friend nearby. Absolutely beautiful and peaceful place. Owners very friendly. Welcoming feel about the place. Lots of farm animals to view, adding to sense of nature. Limited, but good, facilities. Next to A7 - not busy for a main road but a bit of a shame that it's so near. Overall, wonderful views and experience well outweigh proximity to main road. Recommend and will be back!

Great little site

Great 4 day stay at Bush of Ewes. Situated on a little farm. Lovely watching the little lambs running about. Basic amenities but they do the job. Shower was lovely a warm. Ideal area for plenty of walks. Very clean and well kept site. They sell their own freshly laid eggs, which were tasty. Nick was very welcoming and genuinely a nice bloke.

Lovely relaxing place to spend a few days

We spent Easter weekend and really enjoyed it. Lovely site between the hills past Langholm. Looking into their field of sheep and goats. Hosts were there for any help but left us to it. We had a great time in Langholm, visited Michael's monument and spent an afternoon at the Flapping (amateur horse racing). Would definitely stay again.

Lovely location

When entering the site was greeted with camp owner. She explained everything to ourselves and it was so clear and accurate. I would highly recommend this site for great location and friendly customer service.

Beautiful site

The site was in a beautiful location and met all of our needs. We chose this site because of the location and for it being a small campsite. The toilets and shower were clean and enough for the size of the site. The owners were lovely and really helpful. we would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
