We can't wait to come back!

We loved this campsite. It is perfect for solo travellers, couples or families. Something for everyone. Very scenic and feels remote but a short drive to lovely Pitlochry and other places. We also highly recommend the restaurant The Tully for food just around the corner. Would highly recommend and can't wait to return. Thank you.

Friendly staff, everything was clean, easy to use greywater and toilet dump area, very safe and beautiful spot!

Peaceful site with excellent facilities

Lovely site, very good and clean facilities. Good value, pitches are good sizes and easy to access. Very quiet overnight, restful.

Perfect campsite

Grandtully is in a beautiful location close to the River Tay. All of the facilities are modern, clean and functional. An excellent welcome and well serviced pitch. Highly recommend this site.

Lovely quiet site

The site was lovely and very quiet with very good facilities block. You are supposed to be able to self check in as they send you details about the site but we did not receive a pitch number in the communication sent. Also the site location image was a link to Google photos which meant I had to open the app rather that just opening an attached image.

Hi Martin Thank you for providing this review. I am sorry that you had difficulty self checking in. The access codes for the toilets are sent on the day arrival via email. Your email as sent via our system at Jun 22, 2025 10:01. This same email includes your pitch number. You just needed to scroll down to where it said "Your Booking at Grandtully Station Campsite Small Tent Pitch 32 No Electric Hook Up". We do include a link to a google map instead of an image as this can be both useful for our pitches and if you need to find the site itself. We have also hung 2 physical site maps in frames on the campsite that guests can check when they arrival. One is on the side of the Visitor Reception doorway and one is on the fence at the entrance to the pitches. Thanks again for your comments.

Loved it

Such a gem, we loved it, will definitely be back. A beautiful place, just beautiful.

All good but pitch 10, the electric kept tripping.

Fabulous!

My friend and I spent three nights at the campsite. It was incredibly peaceful, the gender neutral facilities were spotless and it was a very relaxing weekend away. The pub on the river was close by, along with Aberfeldy and Pitlochry a short drive away. I would thoroughly recommend the campsite and I will be back soon.

Excellent site, peaceful but with good local facilities

Just wanted a site for overnight stay to break journey and booked by chance. Would certainly use again.

Good campsite, ideal for dogs

We had a good stay here for one night. Facilities and staff all good. Ideal if you have a dog as there are walks at either end of the campsite as it sits in a disused railway line. The only possible negative was the bad smell in the washing up area in the middle. I was glad our pitch wasn't near this as it was constant. Otherwise, a lovely quiet campsite and we would visit again.

Excellent location and facilities

Excellent location. Nice 25 minute walk along coast to town. Good shower. Nice bar. Quiet.

Peaceful and pristine

It was an ideally placed overnight stop on our way to the NC500. Grandtully itself is a small village with a lovely riverside walk near to the campsite. There are a few local facilities, but if you are on a budget you should make sure you bring your own supplies. The site itself was in a peaceful spot surrounded by trees and very well looked after with modern and spotlessly clean facilities. The staff were fantastic - friendly and helpful on arrival. They also went above and beyond to help when we ran into an issue with our travels. Unfortunately, I can't remember individual names to thank them personally. It is quite a small site, which we prefer, and not busy during our stay. It might feel very different when it's full, but we'd definitely stay again if we need somewhere in the area.

NC500 trip

This was our first stop on our NC500 as we came up from Dumfries, the woman at the front desk was really helpful as we weren't sure where we were going. Toilets and showers were very clean, if doing route again would definitely stop off in!

Lovely clean campsite

We stayed 3 nights and will definitely be back! Very tidy campsite, with clean toilets and wash facilities. Ample parking and handy barrows to take stuff from car to pitch, as you can't park alongside your tent. Which is great in itself as it makes the campsite safe for kids. Campsite was quiet by 10pm with only the sound of the birds to listen to (the owls were magnificent)! A handy little path links the site with Grandtully play park and football field, and then the high street is a couple of mins walk away. Beautiful site we will be back!

Nice and clean, well impressed

Nice little quaint campsite. Newly refurnished shower and toilet block. Very clean and well maintained. Arrived earlier than planned and was shown to the tent site by the staff. Will definitely return back. Would be nice for a place for use of hairdryer in the toilet block so those with long hair can dry it.
