Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches May 2025 Loved our stay, despite the weather. Facilities are great and very clean. Lots of space, so didn't feel like we were on top of any other campers.
Beautiful
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Campervan Pitches May 2025 Really beautiful location and easy access to lots of Shropshire tourist attractions.
The owners were super friendly and accommodating and there are lots of cute little places for the kids to explore and play. Fire pits are available to rent for £5 and firewood can be purchased too. No ground fires are allowed.
The composting toilets are really clean and well stocked. They definitely have the best view from a washing up station that we've ever seen.
Will definitely visit again.
Good basic site
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches May 2025 Good, basic campsite in a first class location. Lots of walks direct from the site and nearby pub which has a good selection of beers and food.
Stunning views
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches May 2025 It was a lovely stay and loads of walking trails all around.
I can only rate the facilities I used which were the sinks and the compost toilets, of which there is not a clear pathway to get down to but plenty of space to wash up and get water. There were thoughtful little toiletries around and sponges to wash up.
It was really quiet and I would have loved to be there on a clear night to see the stars when the sun comes out. The pub was a short walk and decent prices also.
Would love to come again. I was impressed.

Great campsite
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches May 2025 Down a little track and camped up the hill for amazing views!
Lots of space, compost toilets and sink area. Near a pub and can do great walks from site.
Really enjoyed our weekend there.
Lovely family that run it with cool goats and ducks.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Campervan Pitches May 2025 This is a basic site in terms of facilities. but the views all round are magnificent and as set out above the owners could not be more helpful. We were welcomed by them and helped when our campervan had a problem.
Lovely beer and food a short walk away at the station, but make sure you book.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Campervan Pitches Apr 2025 My mum and I stayed at Mowbray Campsite for two nights and were blown away by the beauty of Shropshire.
Sophie and her partner Nick made us feel so welcome, they truly couldn’t do enough to help and their warm, friendly approach set the tone for a relaxing stay.
There were plenty of pitches, and despite a few other campers, no nearly neighbours and so much space.
We also really appreciated the newly added road leading up to the site - which made the drive up comfortable.
The toilets were exactly as described but with a thoughtful extra: a selection of handy bits and bobs you might forget when packing for a camping trip, a really lovely touch.
The surrounding area is stunning, with loads of gorgeous walks right on the doorstep. We will definitely be back, thanks to Sophie and Nick for such a lovely experience.
There’s also a pub 5 mins down the road which is perfect for some grub after a long walk.
Good campsite
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Apr 2025 Great campsite, we just made the mistake of going during some very bad weather.
Most of the pitch area is on top of a hill, so is windy in a storm. There are toilets and shower facilities as well as water.
