Clear filters Lovely site, helpful owner
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches (16 amp) Jun 2025 Had a lovely couple of nights with our new unit.
Owner really helpful, showing us to our pitch and loaning us a hose to fill our water tank. Toilet facilities lovely and clean. Easy 20 minute walk to Ellesmere. Free entertainment on Friday night from a nearby beer festival that had live music which we thoroughly enjoyed and it finished at 11pm, so no issue. Will return and would recommend.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches (16 amp) Jun 2025 Great little campsite surrounded by lovely views of the countryside with sheep and cows nearby.
It's a very clean site, the showers and toilet faculties are spotless.
Will defo return.

Twin Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2025 A great, well organized site. Owners very welcoming. Loved having a whole bathroom to myself with heated towel rails. All spotlessly clean.
Ellesmere town was a good 30 minute walk though and 15 minutes to the nearest bus stop, but would definitely recommend.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Mar 2025 We recently spent a couple of nights in a campervan at this lovely, well run site.
The views were lovely but I was surprised to find that we virtually backed onto the main Ellesmere - Oswestry road with heavy traffic, but it wasn't a problem and made access easier. Everyone was very friendly.

Excellent clean facilities with ample room between each pitch. Very friendly owners.
Nice site
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Feb 2025 This is a very nice site with spotlessly clean facilities.
We were on the 1st field as you enter the site and there are some good views. There was a toilet block for male & female, and a separate unit with 2 self contained shower rooms.
The site is well signposted from the main road. The walk into Ellesmere takes about 15 - 20 minutes across a field and then onto the main road. Thankfully, on our visit, we had no rain but I could imagine that the field could be very wet and muddy when we have heavy rain.
The lower field is closer to the main road so you could experience noise from passing traffic. I would suggest that the owners looked at adding more hard standing pitches on field 1.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Feb 2025 The site was set in beautiful surroundings, the bonus of the horses in the field was lovely.
Facilities were great, toilet blocks were large and had everything you needed. Clean and peaceful until work hours, when the main road became very busy and noisy. Phone call received with all instructions before arrival. Person-less check in with key coded gate.
First outing in our new motorhome
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jan 2025 First outing in our new motorhome - very impressed with the site.
We are not seasoned campers so cannot compare this site to others. However, my wife and I were very impressed with the site. The pitches were level and gravelled, the whole site was very clean and well maintained. The toilet / shower block was immaculate with individual rooms housing a toilet, shower and sink unit. Very private indeed.
Robin (the owner) called us prior to visiting and let us know which pitch to use, we met him on site and he was friendly and gave us all the information that we required. There were full facilities for chemical toilets and other disposal requirements. Located a short walk to the town of Ellesmere, we enjoyed a fantastic 3 day break with our pet dog.
I would recommend this site to anyone.
