Clear filters Stunning site
Motorhome - Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jun 2025 Must say that this is a gem of a site. Small but perfectly formed. Beautiful and quirky landscaping (ie various little ornaments dotted around). Loved the one that was just the back end of a digging rabbit in the wood chip between our van and the next. To the other side a lovely Koi pond with waterfall.
Staff were so friendly and helpful from arrival onwards. Great system of them putting the caravans on the allocated pitches and setting them up for you and then the reverse when you leave. Almost wish I had a caravan as I felt left out. Private shower/toilet rooms were nice as well. Lovely place run by lovely people.
Wish we had booked another week. Will definitely be back.
Quiet and relaxing
Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Apr 2025 Extremely well kept, maintained and clean. Very convenient for walking around Chew Valley Lake with a shop and pub within easy walking distance.

Large A-class or Tag Axle Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Feb 2025 The site is immaculate and very pretty. The facilities are luxury and clean at all times. The staff are very friendly. I would definitely recommend to others.
Lovely well kept camp site
VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jan 2025 Was greeted at the gates and taken to my pitch that was upgraded to a fully serviced.
Beautiful grounds and spotless facilities. Great little enclosed dog walking area and great walks direct from the campsite. Will definitely be back in the summer.
December trip
Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Dec 2024 A very nice little site, the facilities are excellent and the staff are very accommodating. We will definitely recommend this site to family & friends and we shall be returning in the near future.
Peaceful and relaxing
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Hardstanding Touring Pitches Sep 2024 The site is beautiful, all the lawns, verges plants and shrubbery are well manicured and maintained.
The facilities are probably the nicest I've used, they are spacious and spotless. It's a peaceful spot too. A lovely and relaxing vibe about the place.
The reason that I've not given 5 stars for value for money is that I was using the site as a stopover, whilst working in the area. I didn't really use the power and other facilities as I would've done if I was on holiday etc.
Chew Valley campsite

Perfect
Single Axle Caravan - Hardstanding Touring Pitches Aug 2024 Absolutely would recommend this campsite. Facilities are always spotless. Lovely and friendly staff always there to help. It is a bit of drive to Bath or Bristol but it really is worth the stay. So quiet and peaceful. Pub and shop down the road. Will definitely be booking again next year 😀 😊 ❤️

Nice, friendly staff. Red lion pub had really nice people and great food. No food on Mondays bear in mind if you arrive that day.
If you are looking for a base to visit area it's ideal. We went to Bath, Wells, Devizes Hill Locks, beautiful. Have to drive, but that was fine for us.

A haven In the middle of everywhere
VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jul 2024 We made a last minute booking & this was our longest trip away so far (only had our van since November).
We wanted something close to amenities and sights! On our way to the site, we stopped at the farm shop and bought fresh barbecue meat and had a coffee in the sun. Then on to the site, where we were shown our pitch - perfect!
Plenty of space between pitches, and if you have a caravan they tow it to place for you and cars are parked in the main car park. After setting up, we settled in for the rest of the day, taking the dog around park of the lake which was lovely (salt & malt fish and chips smelt delicious!).
Campsite - All facilities were clean, and all areas well maintained. We went to Wells for our day out which was lovely, and I had booked a late Sunday lunch at Chew Kitchen on the way back - it's a must! All in all, the perfect couple of days away, and we'll be back.
Excellent adult only site
Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jul 2024 Really lovely friendly site. All the staff are so helpful and made us feel very welcome. The facilities were all super clean and well maintained, as was the whole site.
The pitch was level and dry. Absolutely zero complaints.
