Clear filters Nice place to stay
Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Oct 2022 My only concerns with this site were the steep slope from the main road into the site, as this caused our caravan to bottom out as we entered the site from the Wells direction. We had no problem when leaving the site with the caravan going out towards Cheddar, providing we kept to the right-hand side of the access to the site.
My second concern was that the drain for the grey water at the rear of the pitch was almost the same height as the rear of the caravan, this caused a problem with the flexi hose we used for the grey water as it would not run away correctly. I had to go to buy a rigid length of waste pipe, to achieve a downward slope to assist the grey water to run away without pooling in the pipe which caused a problem.
Otherwise, we found the site very good for a relaxing break from work.
Great stay
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2022 We really enjoyed our stay. Staff were very kind, and happy to help. Facilities very clean. Everything you need on site. We would recommend to stay here.
Lovely place
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 Really lovely place, great location and staff were friendly. Only negative was that there were dogs located near to the park that barked all night.
Great campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2022 Great campsite, and location of our pitch was good for the toilets and showers. Lovely little play park and swimming pool. Disco on the Tuesday evening of our stay was lots of fun!
The restaurant served some delicious food (hunters chicken - amazing), and the staff were really friendly and kind. Super dog friendly for our little pooch as well.
Great location between Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge!
Friendly, convenient campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2022 Great campsite with friendly staff, clubhouse and pool. Our pitch was perfect with electric hook-up, space for a pup tent and a tap nearby. I've marked down the facilities by one star as although very clean and functional, the toilet/shower/wash-up block nearest to our pitch looked old and could do with a refresh. I do want to be clear though this is not a reason to not stay at this happy site and it's so close to so many brilliant places to visit!
Definitely on the list for staying at again!

Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2022 Very nice, well kept park. Downside was that our pitch backed onto the play park and restaurant and noise restrictions were not enforced. Kids were playing on the park till 11.30 -midnight. Although we were next to it, the shouting must have been heard across the whole park. Friendly staff and clean facilities.

And in the showers and dishwashing facilities, the water is not always hot. Ideally situated for all the attractions and would recommend it .
