Clear filters Friendly campsite in an excellent location
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Sep 2024 Campsite is walking distance to Cheddar town and Gorge. We had a lovely pitch next to the river, which was very pretty. Good dog walks from the site. Can also walk out of town to Cheddar Ales tap room. Friendly staff and spotlessly clean facilities, the only criticism was just 2 showers for the whole site, but that wouldn't put me off going back.
A site worth a visit, great location

Lovely location and comfortable camping
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2024 Lovely location with parking next to the tent. Mixed combo of tents campers and glamping huts. Next to a river, quiet but walking distance to shops and activities, bars, cafes etc.

Some didn't have dogs on leads which was frustrating, but that cannot be helped by the site. We had a lovely time and will visit again!
Lovely campsite
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2024 We had a lovely stay, the campsite was a great location near Sainsburys and walking distance from Cheddar Gorge. The staff were super friendly and the facilities were good, with a microwave and a kettle - handy when we didn't want to get out our camping stove!!

Beautiful little site, perfect for a getaway
Camping Pod - Camping Pods (Dog Friendly) Jul 2024 perfect little site, nice and quiet and very dog friendly, would stay here again but for a longer period. Reception were so helpful and kind. Only thing I would say is that the Wi-Fi needs work, I paid for it but it kept failing to connect.
Lovely place for a stopover
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jun 2024 Stopped overnight on the way between the Midlands and South West. Staff were pleasant and freely gave advice on nearby pubs and shops, as well as a good walking route. Being within Cheddar itself, the site is pretty well connected to the village, though public transport networks are limited.
Pitches are large and well spaced, and the facilities were clean and well stocked. There is also a microwave, fridge and freezer, which are very handy for preparing food!
Would definitely be interested in booking again for a stopover.
What a gem of a place
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2024 We landed on our feet finding this little campsite. Nice and quiet, relaxing and very convenient to the Cheddar Gorge, caves etc. Brilliant. Hope to be returning some time soon.Thanks to all staff.

Absolutely magical place
Camping Pod - Camping Pods (Dog Friendly) Jun 2024 Oh my god, our stay could not have been any more perfect. The pod was amazing, with our own deck and picnic bench.
The site is beautiful and the walk to the gorge was easy and amazing. We visited the gorge on both days, there were loads of great little shops. We wanted to stay longer but had booked in somewhere else. Should have asked to stay longer as after staying here, we were disappointed with our next stop. The showers and toilets were amazing too, such a beautiful little site.
We are definitely planning another trip to Cheddar Bridge Touring Park soon. It is an amazing place.

Clean and tidy great value for money
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2024 I only stayed for one night but I will definitely go back again. Really peaceful location with easy access into town by a short 10 minute walk. Clean and tidy and great amenities, I forgot my cooking equipment and the microwave helped.
Camping field was cut well and shower was amazing.

Beautiful and quiet
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches May 2024 We stayed here to trial our little bongo van. We had a minimum set up and the park had everything we needed not too far away. We had a beautiful spot right next to a river with a little bit of shade and sun all day.
The local pubs and stores are great and being such a close walk to the gorge was fantastic. We had an amazing time and would love to come back at some point.
The facilities were also extremely clean and the people staying there were also lovely and friendly, along with the staff.

Apr 2024 Very nice. Wardens work hard. Very clean. Can't fault it. Pitches big. Walk to the creek restaurant was lovely. Just wish they had water on the pitch and drainage.
