Clear filters Perfect
Large Tent - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2025 The site was perfect for my needs. Small, friendly, clean, well serviced and quiet. As a solo female camper it felt totally safe and comfortable.
The use of fridge freezers was an absolute bonus in the super hot weather. And there was a kettle and phone charging point for non electric users, a really well thought our site.
I absolutely recommend the site and will definitely be back.

Motorhome - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jul 2025 We stayed one night in our motorhome specifically to go to Sutton Hoo. Having said that, it's ideally located as a base for Suffolk.
The site was clean and well kept - dog walking field was a welcome bonus. Love that the pitches have hedges to act as a privacy screen between units. The washing up area and toilets a clean and functional.
Great little gem of a site in a quiet spot.

Site was quiet and pleasant with basic toilets and showers. Would visit again.

Great dog walking field. Really enjoyed our stay.

Motorhome - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) Jun 2025 Perfect site for walking access to Sutton Hoo.
Good range of facilities, including a bath in the family room. Native privacy hedging between pitches helps you feel secluded even when the site is full which it probably often is due to it's proximity to Sutton Hoo.
Free wifi near the facilities. Info shed with fridge.
Would recommend.
A great visit to Sutton Hoo

Clean and warm toilet/showers and everything needed for the stay. Helen kindly accommodated us for a second night. Thoroughly recommend.

Very good facilities, small site, quiet and perfect. We loved it.

Great campsite with wonderful hosts
Medium Tent - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2025 I would highly recommend this campsite, the plots are very spacious and separated by hedgerows, so feel quite private.
Although the campsite was busy at times we never had to wait for showers/toilets.
Helen and Garrow were kind and helpful, and we're regularly on site maintaining the facilities, chatting and helping guests.
Their kindness towards us and willingness to help was much appreciated.
Lovely spacious site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Serviced Grass Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2025 A lovely little site with 20 very spacious pitches. Each has a small hedge around it as a bit of privacy- and wind protection! There was a children's play area in the middle and lots of trees and space for children to play and explore.
A very laid back site and a 10 minute walk down to the main entrance to Sutton Hoo.
My reason for a 4* rating for location is because I didn't want to use my campervan to travel around, it wasn't easy to use public transport to get to other interesting places like Orford etc. But a great place to stay for 3 nights whilst visiting Sutton Hoo and Woodbridge.
Also, the road is quite busy and I could hear the road noise as I was going to sleep and on waking up, but it didn't keep me awake.
Rural, convenient for Sutton Hoo

Visiting Sutton Hoo, car is a must if you want to visit further afield. Only negative, noisy road near by.

The owners were very pleasant and helpful. Will visit again.
Ideal location

Generous pitches with nice dividing hedges.
We're completely self sufficient with large solar panels on our roof and battery storage but noted there are electric hook ups and water very close to each pitch if you need these.
Clean showers, toilets and washing up sinks.
This site is in an ideal location to visit Sutton Hoo National Trust, Woodbridge and tour Suffolk. Woodbridge is worth a visit with beautiful walks along the river Deben and some great cafes/shops in the town centre.
Fab site

Access to fridge was very handy when you don't use the electric. We had a corner pitch which was a fantastic size more than ample room but that said every pitch looked good size.
Owners came round in the evening to make sure everything was ok.

Booked for one night ended up staying three. Short walk to the amazing Sutton Hoo National Trust site, close to Woodbridge, peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

A little gem

Showers were very clean & water nice & hot. Our pitch was in a lovely spot didn't want to leave. Beautiful walks. Only negative was there were no dog bins on site or locally that we could find, but certainly would not put me off booking again. A little gem!

Helen was the perfect host and the Easter egg hunt for the kids was an added extra treat, thank you. My daughter loved the climbing frame and we liked its central site location visible from every pitch.
