Clear filters Short battery recharge
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 An adequately sized electric pitch with room for the car. Great location and peaceful. A lovely owner who was very helpful and kept the facilities clean and stocked throughout our stay.
The only negative was having to queue in the morning to go to the toilet as there was only two cubicles each having a toilet, washbasin and shower and people on site averaged approx.25.
Great stay
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 We had a great stay. Great communication with owner Naomi.
Facilities were cleaned during the day, hot water on side. There is a slight down hill as described, but it was fine.
Downsides are: toilet and shower is together, no local shop on side and there isn't a shelter for washing dishes. But, changes are coming soon to escalate some of those points and we look forward to return back.
Lovely campsite with beautiful views and clean facilities
Small Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2025 We loved our stay, it was very reasonable price and was great to be able to hire a fire pit and logs! The views from the campsite are beautiful, and it’s lovely to sit and watch the horses in the mornings. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again :)
Perfect stay for a lovely weekend break away
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2025 We had a perfect stay at Cairds campsite, there were 6 of us (adult family) and 2 dogs.
We had access to water and electric, there were 2 toilets with showers. The site is basic, it was great for a rural weekend. There are fishing lakes nearby which our party enjoyed and plenty of walks. We hired a firepit from the site for a reasonable price which was an added bonus. Before and during the booking, we had great communication from the owners too.
We will certainly be going back!

Glamping Pod - Ensuite Arch Glamping Pod (Dog Friendly) Mar 2025 Lovely little peaceful site. The Arch accommodation was comfortable and had all the essentials. Will definitely be going back.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Really helpful site owners. Nice site in the High Weald. Only downside is limited 4G, but if you go a 100 yards down the road, it picks it up.

Our stay
Trailer Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Lovely camp site, we stayed for four nights with two children and two dogs. The owners were very friendly and helpful, the grounds were well kept. The showers and toilets were cleaned twice a day. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Basic but enjoyable Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 We had an enjoyable stay at Cairds Camping, the site is very basic and I would say a DIY site, but is everything you need.
Showers were great, hot, powerful and kept very clean. No hot water for washing up and the washing up area is exposed, so if you have rain, you have to wear your waterproofs.
Site rules regarding noise and dogs on leads were not adhered to, which was a bit disappointing, but all in all, it was an enjoyable stay, with some fantastic views.
Relaxation guaranteed!
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 I recommend this place to you if someone wants to rest, relax away from the city among nature. The owners are nice and helpful. Showers and toilets cleaned every day, clean and tidy. In a word, a successful trip!

Long weekend
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Lovely site in a beautiful setting, has everything you need but could do with separate showers to toilets block.
Very clean with friendly, helpful hosts. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay as did the dog. Variety of guests from couples to families which made it fun and friendly.
Cheaper than a Travelodge and much more fun!

Lovely peaceful location, friendly owner and the pod itself was spotlessly clean. The bed was so comfortable, we didn't want to leave. It was everything you could ask for and much, much more! A**

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 This is a small rural campsite in a beautiful location, but close to local towns and villages.
A great place to explore East Sussex attractions, rural and coastal. A couple of families with young children who very well behaved but happily playing without making any intrusive noise or fuss. Showers were some of the best I have used with excellent water pressure. Horses in the next field and birds in flight. Loved it.

Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Loved the location and the owners. Simple but adequate facilities.
Just wanted to give some constructive feedback - most of the pitches are on sloping ground, some more than others. In our motorhome, despite ramps, we couldn't get level on our pitch. It is ok on the whole for tents I believe, according to other campers.
The toilets are adequate, if there are not too many people on site. Difficult if crowded. Showers are ok if you are not too fussy! Facilities for chemical disposal is adequate for most needs. Nice lot of drinking water taps.

I stayed here to attend a wedding nearby so can't really comment on the location as we weren't exploring the area. However it was perfect for what I needed and very peaceful.

Glamping Cabin - Glamping Cabin (Dog Friendly) Jun 2024 Omg where to start? This place is beautiful and peaceful. The cabin I booked was so clean, tidy and cute too. I went there with my bf and it's been so relaxing for both of us. Had great stay, definitely gonna come back with friends and family.
