Lovely scenic nearly wild campsite

Lovely campsite owner was nice and very chatty 😀 gave us lots of information about his lovely cows. Views were awesome, amenities were just what you needed especially for a nearly wild campsite. Very happy thank you.

Gorgeous site

An amazing site with gorgeous views. As a young solo female, I felt very safe at the site and never had any issues. An amazing beach/cove about a 20-30 minute walk away. Very remote and so very quiet apart from a few tractors. Owners of the sight came around and were absolutely amazing, very friendly.

Perfect - would stay again

The location of this campsite was perfect for us. We loved the sea view and surrounding countryside which offered some nice walks. The campsite was quiet enough for us not to be disturbed. The facilities were basic but well kept and fulfilled our needs. There is no shower, but we wouldn’t have expected this to be available for the price we paid. The campsite was very good value for money (£80 for 5 nights, medium tent). All in all we really liked this campsite and this would be our first choice when looking for a campsite in Anglesey again.

We had a lovely time, the weather was fine. Two beautiful sunsets and great coastal path walking. The farmer is so friendly, we will return.

Absolutely perfect!

I stayed here with my dog for a couple of nights and it was everything I wanted and more! The owner visited each night and spoke to the guests which was lovely. The views were stunning, the sunset here is not one to miss! A lovely quiet spot that I'll definitely be visiting again.

Lovely site

A really lovely, peaceful site with great views, especially the sunsets. Perfect for a quiet break. Owner very welcoming and would check on campers in the evening, happily spending time to chat. Would definitely like to return to this site for a longer visit. Highly recommend.

Great campsite

Arrived on Saturday afternoon for 2 night stay. Wonderful views from the site, very peaceful and relaxing. No mobile signal was a bonus. Owner was very friendly. Excellent campsite in a fabulous place. We will be back again for more walks along the coast. Diolch yn Fawr.

Stunning views

Stunning views. The loos were lovely and clean, with lots of paper and soap. It needs a seat at washing station to aid disabled travelers. Loved the peace and quiet, a bit hilly for me to cycle, but there were lots of places on the doorstep to drive to.

Small, friendly and peaceful

Great little campsite, friendly host with clean facilities. Convenient when walking the coast path.

What a little hidden gem!

A truly magical place to stay among wonderful welcoming people. The facilities are basic but clean and tidy - as described in their details of site. What they omit to say is what incredible views and scenery they offer in a quaint and friendly site. Our welcome was genuine and friendly. The site was perched over looking the sea surrounded by farming and natural life. We have never seen such an amazing display of stars at night - due to the lack of light pollution. Brilliant value for money and a breath of fresh air in multiple ways - we will return for longer next time.

Gorgeous, friendly, perfect short break campsite

This campsite was in an absolutely stunning location. The pitch sizes were excellent so we could spread out and make ourselves feel at home. Basically, you are in the middle of nowhere, which was perfect to connect with nature without and light pollution or loud noise - the stars were stunning at night. We were a walk away from a beautiful, rocky beach and a short drive from sandy beaches, shops and restaurants. The owner of the campsite is the loveliest man. He is so friendly and comes to the camp regularly to check on the campers, we had many lovely conversations and lovely time with his adorable dogs. He has created such a friendly environment where people can chat together as he starts conversations. The toilets were very clean and stocked with a lot of toilet roll (we brought our own as often at sites loo roll supply is low, but this was not an issue here). The toilets were well cleaned. There is fresh water on site and a washing up sink, as well as loads of bins and recycling facilities. This site is perfect for a short stay but doesn't have a shower. We stayed for two nights so this wasn't an issue. I couldn't recommend this site more, it was an absolute bargain and I had the best two nights.

Beautiful campsite

Pengraig is a lovely off grid campsite. Honestly we felt so refreshed and recharged after our stay! Breath-taking views, amazing walks on coastal paths just on the doorstep of the campsite. Andrew was very helpful and welcoming, and everyone at the campsite was super friendly. Toilet block and an area for washing pots up as well as bins on site. Dog friendly and just a genuinely lovely place with lovely people. We will hopefully make another trip to stay at Pengraig again sometime in the near future.
