Perfect location

Ideal for walking the Devils Bridge, ignore google maps it is just a 5min walk. Also ideal for a quick day trip to Aberystwyth, only 30min away. Easy to locate with plenty of space for the tent, car and windbreak. As per the reviews I read before booking, the place is spotless. Toilets, showers and washing up areas were very clean and close to the camping area. Can highly recommend.

Great site

Just stayed here for 2 nights. We're still quite new the camping scene so we don't expect too much but to be fare we really liked this site. Great location to Devil's Bridge, I didn't realise it was that close. The facilities were amazing, we've only stayed in one other place with showers before so this was great. Plenty of space and they were always clean! The area to clean your pots was quite large too. The space in between tents for the electric pitch were great as we hate being ridiculously close to other campers. Having the little café nearby was handy especially for take away food of an evening. It was a tad bit pricey if I'm being honest but food was nice. Also, I thought I read when booking there was an on-site shop in case you'd forgotten things, but maybe I was wrong. We forgot shower gel and they said you had to drive to the closest shop which was a tad bit inconvenient for us at that point. Not going to knock them down on this at all. Also, it says no campfires and a lot of people had fires, so I'm a bit confused to that rule. It didn't bother us but if you can light a fire then we would've bought something to do so. Anyway, we really enjoyed it here and would highly recommend. We would probably stay here again as it isn't too far from Aberystwyth either.

Bank holiday weekend

This camp site was gorgeous, the showers etc were always clean and tidy, the grounds were very well maintained, the lovely lady warden even swapped our pitch for us. My only bugbare was the field was a bit hilly, I would recommend this site.

Excellent family campsite

Excellent stay, spacious pitches, children's playground area and lots of space for them to run around. Clean shower block. Lovely views of nearby mountains and hills.

Beautiful campsite

Beautiful location, friendly staff, best toilet block I've been in camping, spotlessly clean. Not overcrowded but lots of people on site. 200m walk to Devil's Bridge attraction. Feel "shop" could be better stocked but food in café itself was excellent.

Highly recommend

Really lovely campsite. The toilets and showers were excellent, very clean and well designed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The was plenty of space on the pitch and some swings and a seesaw for the kids, with a slightly bigger playground nearer to the caravan site. There is a nice dog walk and plenty of dog bins. The site is next to a farm so we did have some sheep passing the tents at one point which the dogs found very interesting! The location is excellent next to the beautiful Devils Bridge and about 20 mins drive from Aberystwyth.

Proper family site

Loved everything about the site. The facilities (showers etc) were modern airy and clean. The layout for statics and touring was spread out and discreetly sectioned off. The grass pitching was a 'pick a spot' set up allowing family groups to make their own area. Plenty of kid play spaces throughout the site and I loved the statues scattered across the park and old farm machinery on display everywhere. The park is very spacious. The dog walk area was through a bit of a wood, so lots for our dog to sniff out. We were on electric hard standing which was a good size with the view of the tents scattered on the flat, or gentle slope with a mound beyond leading to the play area, and woodland. All the staff were smiley and helpful, they couldn't do enough for us when we asked about off lead walks with our dog (sheep farming area so lead on for some walks). The entrance to the park has a café, basic food and gift shop which is popular for passing trade as well. Saturday night is take-away night to pre-order and collect a small but good value and tasty selection of British based food. Those who need to be connected can access free Wi-Fi (phone signal is patchy). 5 minute walk to steam railway to Aberystwyth (1 hour trip) if you fancy a day at the beach (or 20 min car journey) and there's the Devils Bridge walk to the waterfalls (too steep for me with dodgy knees!) Will come again, possibly with grandchildren. There's enough to keep them happy for a weeklong stay.

Amazing

This site was in a truly beautiful location with plenty of walks from the site. The waterfalls were beautiful with a convenient watering hole at the end of the walk. The facilities on site really were 5 star and the wardens very friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again.

Woodlands

Superb site, very nicely laid out with level hardstanding pitches, and the shower and toilet block were very clean and well maintained. A very peaceful location, within walking distance of the village and pub. Would happily stay again.

Woodlands

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our two night break at Woodlands. We found the site to be very peaceful and relaxed, just what I needed after suffering three heart attacks earlier in the year. The site is very well maintained and the cleanliness of the facilities is outstanding. We didn't try the tea room but did have a fantastic evening meal at The Hafod, a short walk from the site and booking is recommended as they were fully booked on the Saturday night. A very positive experience all round.

Excellent site

Fantastic site used it for touring. Everything about it was good. Not a single complaint.

Lovely campsite with great facilities

Can't fault our stay even in a wet weekend when the rain literally did not stop the shower block was always clean. The site is well lit in the nights too feel safe but not that it keeps you awake. The tea room on site was brilliant serving a group of 10 fantastic food, we all thoroughly enjoyed our chosen meals. The staff were very accommodating and attentive when we returned for an evening drink as well.. somewhere other than the gazebo to have a drink and chat. Will definitely return.

Lovely site

We really enjoyed the site it had good size plots, it was well looked after with lovely views. The toilets were modern and very clean, and there were some nice walks around the site.

Absolutely brilliant

From booking till we left, everything was fantastic. Great staff who were really helpful and knowledgeable. The pitch was extremely tidy and level, and the facilities were the cleanest we have ever seen. Absolutely brilliant, thank you.

Amazing location with lots of amenities

Had a three night stay and it was amazing. We enjoyed a lot. Our kids had amazing time as well, the playground kept them occupied. Lots of walking trails around to opt for and friendly staff.

Weekend break

Lovely campsite. Good location, walking distance to Devils Bridge and Hafod hotel. Excellent facilities, lovely tearoom. Spacious site but quiet and relaxed vibe.

Quiet couple days

A great location and great size pitches. We were in a large motorhome. The washrooms were five star. My only negative is there's no camp shop . A very small few things in the coffee shop when open, 3 miles from the shop if you forgot butter!

Perfect site!

Perfect site to stop whilst exploring the surrounding areas. So much room, so you're not cramped together like lots of other sites! The surrounding views are stunning, caught quite a few sunsets and sunrises whilst there! The facilities are perfect - lovely café with delicious food, and a shop which stocks all of your essentials. The toilet/shower block was the nicest we have ever stayed in! So clean, modern and just lovely.

Lovely site

Lovely site, nicely laid out, spacious pitches, quiet and scenic. The facilities are excellent, showers and toilets were immaculate and fab quality. The staff take serious pride in their cleaning standards and it shows! We're definitely going again.

Excellent site

Stayed at Woodlands Caravan Park for our first venture with our newly converted campervan. If all the sites are as good as this one we our certainly going to enjoy our camper. The site is spotless, the staff are all friendly and very helpful. Will certainly be going back to the site for a longer stay.

Perfect

An excellent find. We were in a motorhome on hardstanding, which was level and the plots are large. The shower blocks were clean, modern and spacious. The onsite cafe served excellent food and the cakes were delicious! The cafe has a small shop with essentials and some gifts. A 5 minute walk from Devil's Bridge and a pub/restaurant/hotel. Perfect spot for refreshments after completing the 675 steps down and back up from the waterfall. We didn't eat there, but food is available.

Great place

Great site. Beautiful exhibition of statues and agricultural equipment. Sheep everywhere around.
