Absolutely fantastic

The best and most beautiful, wonderful campsite we have been to. Very highly recommended. Most definitely will be returning.

Really lovely, small site. Quite remote but quiet!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this site. Lovely hillside location near local forest - perfect for an evening stroll. Small site - only 12 pitches which made it friendly and personal. Pitch was a good size and more or less flat. Rob (owner) often checked we were ok and always available for questions or queries. Very friendly. Firepits available (foc) which is a lovely touch (wood can be purchased with honesty box). Only few small criticisms would be that the shower cubicle didn't have any shelving/bench to help keep items dry and shoes got wet even if left outside the door! Also water ran cold at times (presumably if another shower was being used). Plus no waste water disposal but understand that's coming soon! Apart from that - amazing site - well done to the owners.

Quiet, remote site

Nice peaceful location as long as you're aware that you need to drive to get things then it's fine. Pitches well maintained and good size. Facilities okay, toilets sometimes struggled to flush and had to wait for water flow. Showers small but manageable, although lovely and warm in the morning, cold by mid afternoon. Washing up area good, only one at a time though. Cleanliness good, good presence from site manger, very helpful. Overall an enjoyable stay and would return.

Excellent site

Parc Pen Y Bryn is a lovely, clean, well laid out site. A small site in a remote setting with superb views. Good communication from the site owners, with a text day before and a friendly welcome on arrival, nothing was too much trouble. It all made for a wonderful relaxing break. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Parc Pen Y Bryn.

Quick stopover

Good place to stop over, very quiet and not really able to walk anywhere. But good facilities, excellent that there was a kettle to use so didn’t need to hook up the gas.

We have on site a 6 acre field for everyone to use and also the 50,000 hectare Clocaenog Forest on our doorstep that offers miles upon miles of beautiful walks. Excellent stay and very friendly owners

First outing with my young granddaughter on our own and it started snowing just as we arrived on-site. The site owner reassured me that he was happy to assist should it be needed if the weather deteriorated further, prior to us leaving. He also assisted with filling my motor home with water and guidance to my pitch. Nothing was too much trouble. It's a small homely pitch, with clean showers and a small kitchen area. Not a far drive from some popular tourist spots such as Bala Lake and Betws-y-Coed. Worth a visit and I would definitely visit again.

Great weekend get away

What a weekend

Hi, we have just got home from this campsite. We bought our first caravan two weeks ago and this was our first trip. We really had a fantastic time here. Stunning view over the countryside and you could have your own firepit. Rob, the owner came round to greet everyone individually and explained what was nearby the site. Fantastic views, spotless toilet and shower block with kitchen area. We will definitely be booking again soon.

Peaceful retreat

Second visit to this place in last few months, what a place to visit. We are already looking at booking to go back, such a chilled and friendly place, highly recommended.

A fantastic campsite, 100% recommend

We had a fabulous 2 night stay at Parc Pen y Bryn. Had a lovely pitch with a garden bit next to it to sit out in the sun. When we got to the pitch, we were greeted by the owner and told a bit about places to go to and explore around the area. They have a lovely field area to have a walk round and sit overlooking the gorgeous views. Facilities (toilets and showers) were immaculate and stocked up everyday. We asked whether we could have a late checkout on the Sunday because we wanted to stay a bit longer and we got accepted at no extra charge. We genuinely had a really lovely stay and I couldn't fault it. I would highly recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed. We will be definitely returning in the future!

Beautiful views

Its taken a while to leave a review, in fact we stayed last year, just for one night on our way to meet up with friends. Parc Pen Y Bryn stuck in my mind though because it was one of the easiest campsites to just pull up at and get settled. The facilities were spotless. I'm an early riser and it was the morning walk with the dogs that often makes me think of this as one of the nicest little campsites we've stayed at as the view was outstanding. Peaceful and welcoming. We would recommend a stay.

Quiet and relaxing

A lovey small campsite. Close to the forest and some lovely walks.

Lovely little site

A perfect site for our first outing in our VW camper. It felt fairly remote, small and minimalist but with electric hook-ups. Lovely clean bathrooms and great showers. Situated next to a large forest with fab walking and mountain biking trails.

Excellent site

This was our first camping trip and we stayed here on our first night, I'm so grateful I did, it was beyond tranquil, facilities were perfect and incredibly clean. Great site guys will be recommending.

Lovely quiet site

We had a lovely time at Parc Pen Y Bryn. The site was very quiet and is set in beautiful surroundings. The kitchen and toilets were kept in immaculate condition all through our stay. I loved the little details, such as the ability to borrow a fire pit. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful views

It's a lovely little caravan site with beautiful views. I wouldn't recommend it for kids as there isn't too much to do for them there. Showers and toilets were always clean. Shower cubicle is a little small. They allow more than two dogs. Overall it is very relaxing.

Excellent site, out of the way from noise. Facilities very good and very clean.

Peaceful, small site, close proximity of Clocaenog Forest

We had a lovely relaxing break (we were the only ones there for the last day). This is a small, peaceful campsite with sufficient clean facilities for our needs, and across the road from miles of paths in Clocaenog Forest for walking/ cycling/ dog walking. Will definitely return!

Wonderful stay

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Parc Pen-y-Bryn which is in a stunning location with far reaching views. Site was very well kept with excellent shower block. We wouldn't normally take much notice of the facilities but our motorhome electrics failed so we had to use the onsite facilities. We were also very grateful for the fantastic help provided by Rob (the owner) who managed to get everything working again. We can't thank him enough! You turned a possible disaster weekend into a success - thank you.
