Great stay

A beautiful site with social conscience and care - the camping spaces a neatly located so that everyone has enough space and privacy, A 5 minute drive to Tesco extra, all the amenities are convenient and give the place a warm, stylish ambience - was also lovely to be welcomed in person to site

lovely campsite friendly welcome facilities are really nice. the area is quiet and peaceful but also close enough to a shop if you need anything and also easy access to main roads for when you go off on adventures

Amazing and outstanding in every way

This was our first time camping the owners came out and made us feel welcome and shown us to the campsite.. we picked our spot which we thought would be good but we found it very challenging to put our tent up due to the wind! One of the owners suggested we move to another spot which was a massive help and then bought over our log fire and set it up for us which was amazing. We then went and used the communal area plays a few games and had a laugh! Very clean and tidy, lovely added extra! Love the eco set up and the showers were amazing! 5start treatment from start to finish

Outstanding campsite!

I stayed at Cae Lal with my partner for only a few days, and wish we had stayed longer. Out of the many campsites we’ve visited, this one stood out in the best ways. We didn’t have a chance to meet the owner properly, but did see Adam around the site now and again. He was passionate about every aspect of the campsite and the attention to detail was like nothing I’ve seen before. From the choice of materials and furniture in the glamping tents to the quality of the facilities were the best I’ve seen. The showers in particular were heavenly! Great pressure, consistent high temperature and rain shower heads as well as the handheld. There’s also a big emphasis on choosing quality eco friendly products for the soaps used on site to make sure there’s no impact on the environment, and no compromise on quality. For toilets, there are both porcelain composting and traditional flushing toilets, both impressively clean and well maintained. There’s also a communal room on site with some cushy sofas and games for the days that are a bit wet and gloomy outside. But what was really nice was access to some kitchen appliances such as a kettle with a tea/coffee station, toaster, microwave and even a fridge/freezer for everyone to use. Both the facilities and communal room are just out of site from the camping area, but a short 1-2 minute walk away, maintaining the feeling of camping off grid in nature. The car park is also located by the facilities, and there are wheelbarrows thoughtfully provided to help transfer the luggage from the car to the field. I really can’t fault this camp site in any way, other than it not being any closer to us in London so we can go more often. Thank you for sharing your site with us and being so accommodating. I hope to return to try out those glamping tents!!

Beautiful

One of the best campsites I've ever stayed on. Peaceful. Spacious. Clean. Well equipped. Feels like a real escape from everyday life. Great vibe. Our family of four all loved it and left feeling refreshed and recharged. We will be back. Thank you.

September camping

Amazing campsite with really lovely people running it. Found ourselves in gale force winds and they made sure to come round and check everything was okay. Would definitely recommend.

Superb

Great site. Loved the stay, especially after walking up a mountain! Superb shower and communal area. Fantastic location. Highly recommended the place. Bethan is a star and has done a great job with place. Would definitely return.

Great little campsite

Great little campsite, the layout of the camping field is really nice. You still get a wild feel to your camping here. The campsite owners were lovely and very helpful. The showers and toilets here are by far the best campsite toilets I have experienced!! They look great and they're eco friendly. Would definitely visit again.

Perfect stay at Caban Marta

This was the most beautiful location. Bethan and the team were welcoming, kind and generous. The wild sauna was extra special. They brought us icy water with mint from the herb garden to keep us hydrated then we finished with a glass of prosecco. Caban Marta was a lovely secluded spot with everything you needed, comfortable bed, great shower and an outdoor wood fired orange bath. We made salmon on the fire pit on the first night (Thank you Bethan for the tin foil) then collected fresh eggs in the morning for brekkie. I would 100% recommend visiting Cae Lal. We really appreciated the efforts Bethan and her team had made to compliment the already beautiful surroundings. Thank you x

Nice stay at campsite

Lovely area and nice meadows with your own patch of ground. Facilities were good, washing up and toilets etc. Staff were polite and helpful.

Quiet campsite with great facilities and very clean

Nice touches like lit-up mushrooms added to the joy of staying here. It's very handy to have the games room for making hot drinks and plugging in phones. Only downside is that the loos (being compost loos) are a bit smelly at times.

We are committed to improving and perfecting the system.

The perfect campsite

Before we arrived we were contacted by the site. On arrival we were greeted and shown the facilities and then left to find our feet, coming back to check on us later on. The pitch was in a beautiful meadow, private and next to woodland. The cars being kept away from the campsite was a big plus. The facilities were wonderfully clean and felt very luxurious despite the eco-friendly design. The communal 'shed' is a fabulous facility which provides something a bit extra to help entertain families entertained during inclement weather. Astounding, especially considering the price which was far better than other sites in the area. A wonderful experience and we'll definitely be back.

Unbelievable campsite

This might just be the best campsite I’ve stayed at to date! I’ve spent a lot of time camping in New Zealand and this is definitely up there. Eco friendly in every aspect. I would 100% recommend.

Great campsite

The campsite is very well setup with great facilities. The pitches are very well spaced out in a lovely meadow. The site is well located and feels very much in the countryside but is also close to modern amenities in Bangor should you require something. The owners are very friendly.

Brilliant site

Brilliant campsite, maybe a little hard to find as it's off the beaten track but when you are there, it's an awesome place. Facilities brilliant, family room with tea, coffee and fridge facility, showers were amazing and it's also eco friendly. Even all the 'essentials' get composted and reused on the farm. Owners couldn't do enough and were constantly available, it was just lovely.

Absolutely beautiful place

We came here for a few days, we were met by Bethan, the owner, who showed us around the campsite, she was very friendly and down to earth. The campsite itself was stunning and had a great communal area with a fire pit and a large room were everyone on the site could go. The best site I'd been to for a long time and we are going back in July. Highly recommended.

Peaceful getaway

A beautiful campsite, nestled away just outside Bangor. A very convenient location but it feels like you are far from any civilisation! The facilities were fantastic and we appreciate how environmentally conscious the owners were. There was a lot of bird life around the site, which we enjoyed watching.
