Roof tent stay

Lovely couple, very helpful.

Peaceful with lovely views

Cracking views from the second field across to the sea and lovely sun sets. A very quiet site with some permanent caravans but the second field for travelling tents, MH, Campers etc flat with EHU. Nobody available upon arrival but a quick phone call to Steve and it was sorted. No pressure to pay remaining balance on arrival, in fact when I did go to pay when leaving it was discounted due to the time of year, result! Thanks. Easy walk to the beach and a local pub. If you are after peace and quiet with accessibility to Barmouth, the beach and a pub, this is it.

Fantastic site

Great site everything you need is close by, train station very close. Well done to the staff, they were extremely helpful, would definitely recommend.

Great Campsite

We havnt stayed in many campsites but this is by far the best one, make sure to have some £1 coins for the shower but it is SO worth it, and having a washing up station inside was just great. Really clean, Would definitely recommend and stay there again. Diolch

Nice

A fab one night stay. Found this campsite, it was a very handy place and close to the beach we like. It was perfect for one night. There was a little camp log fire. It was very windy, which stopped us having BBQ. Clean loos, they were right next to our plot.

Great place

Only 5 miles out of Barmouth and within walking distance of a great pub, this is a lovely campsite. We were able to pitch our tent with a sea view (albeit in the distance). Clean toilets and showers (note you need pound coins or 20p pieces to operate, so we didn't have a shower the first morning 😀 - the campsite could do with offering change). Good washing up facilities together, with a freezer where you can freeze your blocks. Also a fridge.

Great campsite

Very good campsite, lovely and clean. The owners are very friendly and having a local pub in walking distance was brilliant. Great walks for dogs nearby. Views were stunning.

One night stay

The toilets and showers were immaculate. Showers were by coin which I preferred as you didn't need to keep switching them back on and water stayed constant temperature. The walk to the local pub took less than ten minutes on a footpath, food was nice and also dog friendly. Lots of other walks including a walk to a really nice beach.

Great campsite to explore North Wales

The campsite is situated just 4 miles from Barmouth, so easy access to the sea and sand. Also has a sea view, an easy starting point for our trips to the Snowdon railway, Portmeirion, Llandudno and Anglesey. The toilet and shower and are obviously quite new, impeccably clean throughout our stay. Only downside for me was no water stand pipe on the camping field, it was only available from the toilet block. Not a huge deal but I thought it strange. All in all, a nice four day break, would recommend.

Great location

Very good toilet and shower block complete with washing up sinks and freezer. Lovely wooded walk to nearby bus stop and train station nearby. Plenty of room for each pitch on firm grass, even after lots of rain.

Outstanding!

Lovely time, would come back again. It is very clean, no rubbish to be seen, and with a friendly atmosphere.

Lovely!

Beautiful campsite! Lots of room for your stay, lovely, clean showers and toilets. In close proximity to Barmouth Beach and also Tal-Y-Bont which is very handy! My kids loved the swings on the campsite too! We can't wait to come back again. 😍

Perfect family campsite

First time using the campsite and straight away, we thought this is going to be our future family holiday spot. Were a young family with 2 small kids and we felt safe on here. Luckily, our spot was close to the toilet/shower, so our nearly 7 year old was able to use these facilities on his own and we knew he would be ok. Great camp rulings which made a nice quiet atmosphere, the people who run this site were so helpful and friendly and always around checking things. Toilet and shower block were spotless, I absolutely loved how clean they were. Showers are coin operated at a very cheap price and was more than happy to pay it. We also like the check in and out times, we didn't feel rushed to get off the pitch unlike other sites we've used in the past. It means we had plenty of time to get up have breakfast then pack away. The site is close enough to Barmouth, pubs and nice walks which means plenty to do whilst using this place as base camp. Price per night we thought was amazing too, very affordable for a family holiday. Can't complain about anything about this site and you will definitely be having our custom for years to come.

Gorgeous Campsite

A beautiful location, the site was lovely and clean. It was well maintained and had lovely owners. Also the pub was only a few minutes walk and had amazing food.

Great site!

Lovely stay here. We left early due to the weather, but really friendly, safe, clean and peaceful site. Would highly recommend!

Nice site close to beach

Great site with a view of the sea and mountains. Not too busy and lots of space for kids to play. Owner was very nice and welcoming. Only negative would be the state of the toilets sometimes. I know this is due to some of the people using the facilities, but feel they were not cleaned well enough or often enough.

Sorry for your bad experience. The toilets are checked regularly and cleaned at least 3 times a day. If there was an issue, it's a shame that you did not contact us at the time. We take great pride in presenting our facilities to a high standard and they are cleaned thoroughly each time. We are sorry this spoilt your stay.

Outstanding, can't wait to return

Gorgeous location with stunning views. The upkeep of the site was absolute perfection, the cleanliness, presentation and facilities were outstanding. Fit pits are available to hire for the duration with a supply of kindling and logs. Beach within a few minutes drive with ample parking and Barmouth a 10 minute drive. The One Stop shop is about 4 minutes drive and has everything you need, along with very friendly and helpful staff. Already looking to book for next year and will definitely be staying for longer.

Cannot complain

I cannot complain, the toilets and showers were very clean and new. The showers work on a token system but for the price of the pitch, this was not a deal breaker at all. The land was very clean and scenic, pitching up was easy and the lady at the farmhouse was very polite and friendly. The beach was sandy and beautiful, even with the wind and rain.

Visit to Wales

Enjoyed our stay. Barmouth was a lovely place to visit. Had some lovely drives out to visit surrounding areas.

We had a lovely stay! Great surroundings with a sea view. Loved the animals! The facilities were modern and clean!

Fantastic

This was our first camping trip with the kids and they loved it, with the nice woodland walk from the camp up the river and playing on the swings. This site was fantastic, super clean shower and toilets. Lovely family and pet friendly environment. It's that nice we our booking our next trip as soon as I have finished this review (just got back).

Lovely campsite

Lovely campsite, the owners are amazing and very helpful. The facilities are clean and the site is very spacious and in a great location for a peaceful break. Highly recommend!
