Extra Large Tent - XXL Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Aug 2024 Amazing site with stunning views. The owners are really helpful but not intrusive in anyway.
Good facilities. However, due to being wet rooms, they get muddy very quickly, making getting changed difficult. All in all, a great campsite and we would definitely go back.
Great view
Large Tent - XXL Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Aug 2024 Amazing views. Shower and toilet in same room wasn't a great set up and they only seemed to get cleaned once a day, which I feel isn't enough. Locks on toilet could be tricky.
Half the campers ignored great rules and signs for the site but we all had such a great time, it wasn't really a problem for us. Layout of the pitches was excellent and didn't feel crowded in the slightest. The fire pits were fantastic.

Medium Tent - Medium Grass Pitch Optional Electric (Bryn 4) Aug 2024 Great place, very successful holiday, great service and unforgettable views. I highly recommend it and we will definitely come back there.
Our family vacation
Medium Tent - XL Grass Pitches with Optional Electric (6 person) Aug 2024 We had a nice time at this site. We only had 3 days when we had rain and strong winds but we didn't let that stop us enjoying our time. The only negative thing I can say about this site is that the pitch we had didn't really have a proper walk route to our tent, so we walked past other people's tents as it was a safer route for myself and my family instead of walk up the steep bank and risk slipping.
The site was nice and the staff were helpful. The shower block and washing up areas were clean.

Medium Tent - Medium Non Electric Grass Pitch (Quarry 6) Aug 2024 We had a very nice time in the campsite. The view from out pitch is stunning. The facilities are clean and the reception is very friendly and accomodating. We will be coming back here again.

Single Axle Caravan - Large Hardstanding Pitches with Optional Electric Aug 2024 A beautiful location with fantastic views over the estuary and Barmouth.
Unfortunately, we happened to stay at the same time as some very noisy campers! The after 10:30pm quiet policy is clearly not enforced. Otherwise, enjoyable stay with easy reach of the Mawddach trail and Fairbourne.

Large Tent - XL Grass Pitches with Optional Electric (6 person) Aug 2024 Amazing campsite with large pitches, lots of shower/toilet cubicles, great phone and internet (free) signal. Ice cream van stops by every evening. Great views and very well planned/organised site. People with kids kept close to each other and the ones without kept separate (maybe we just got lucky, but hopefully it's always like that). they even provide washing up liquid in the kitchen 🤩 lots of recycling bins and very clean overall.

Excellent views
Medium Tent - Small Non Electric Grass Pitch Jul 2024 The only negative was that some of the other campers were a bit loud and the way the site is orientated into the side of a quarry, it amplifies sound somewhat.
Everything else was great. Best views we've ever had from our tent, owners were friendly and helpful and the facilities clean and well maintained.
The pitches are a little stony so I would recommend an air bed or cot with a protector underneath. Amazingly bug free, even when I forgot to shut the bug net one night, we didn't get any visitors. If it's damp expect a few slugs though 🤣
Really close to the attractions in Fairbourne and easy to get to Barmouth/Aberwen. We cycled over the railway bridge but there is also the ferry.
Likely to return at some point soon!
Lovely site with amazing views
Large Tent - XL Grass Pitches with Optional Electric (6 person) Jul 2024 We enjoyed our stay here. The view from the site is amazing and the facilities were clean. There was an issue with hot water during our stay but that didn't ruin our time there.
We would love to go again.

Medium Tent - Medium Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2024 Lovely campsite with the amazing views, especially the sunset! Got one problem, no hot water on my last stay, had to shower in freezing water. Apart from that, me and my partner had a great weekend away!

Extra Large Tent - XXL Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jul 2024 The only downfall was in the upper toilets. They would benefit from a floor blade to swipe the water back to the shower after each person. Other than that it was a beautiful, love the way the pitches are on different levels for privacy, owners were very attentive. Would love to return.
Non-electric pitch for family of 3
Medium Tent - Medium Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2024 We had a pitch for a medium tent. The site is very steep but all sites are on tiers, flat and a good size. #
You can't park directly next to the tent as the pitches are slightly higher than the track you drive up on. The views across the bay are magnificent. The sunsets are stunning. I was very impressed with the shower and toilets blocks, they were very clean and spacious. There are plenty of drinking water taps dotted around and washing up facilities next to the shower block.

Camping Pod - Mawddach View Camping Pod Jul 2024 Stunning views over the estuary and bay from the pod and site. Comfy bed. Recommend train from Fairbourne to Barmouth.

As a family of 3 the location was okay for us as we had planned to ride over to Barmouth which only took 25 mins. Families with smaller children may find the location a little too far away from local attractions.
