Large Tent - Grass Camping Pitches Apr 2025 Beautiful site. Great location with onsite walking trails enjoyed by all ages in our family 1, 10 and 15.

Large Tent - Grass Camping Pitches Apr 2025 What a beautiful site, owners were so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back! Had the best weekend. Facilities were great and finished to a high standard, absolutely spotless.
Beautiful area, relaxing, too few toilets
VW-Type Campervan - Grass Touring Pitches Apr 2025 An absolutely stunning area, walks beautiful, reception lovely and friendly staff. Pitch a good size but for the amount of people there, not enough toilets and showers, unless we missed some! Only 6 ladies toilets and 2 showers with lots of people!
Fire pit good but wood wouldn't burn and you have to carry fire pit, which was heavy and dirty.
No music rule was a little annoying as there were some very unruly/noisy children and music could have drowned them out in the day! Good range of drinks and ice cream, we would definitely return as location was amazing, and all very clean and well kept

VW-Type Campervan - Grass Touring Pitches Apr 2025 We had a lovely stay! The location was secure and very picturesque. I feel I should justify my 4*s.
The location is lovely, phone signal is a bit tricky and did have an impact in navigation and organisation once at the site.
The facilities were great, but the shower tokens were a bit of a faff. You get 5 minutes per token and then no water at all. With kids, this can be difficult.
Apart from that, I can't recommend it enough. Great hosts who leave you to get settled in. Friendly camper environment, and the stream is a gorgeous setting.
Lovely site
Large Tent - Grass Camping Pitches Apr 2025 We have just finished a 5 night stay at Nantcol, it has been wonderful from start to finish. Extremely beautiful setting, very friendly helpful staff and lovely, clean and modern facilities.
We will certainly return soon.

First time visitors and won't be the last?
Single Axle Caravan - Grass Touring Pitches Apr 2025 Arrived to campsite later than planned (8pm) due to car breaking down on steep mountain road .Phoned campsite to inform them and was told no problem, they would wait to greet us.
The access to the campsite is via some very narrow and winding roads but exceptionally beautiful, with streams and lambs running through. Caution is advised if you have a larger motorhome or caravan due to single track access and not many passing places. But don't let this put you off coming here as it all adds to the excitement of the holiday 😊
We were met by the owner, who was extremely pleasant and told us we could set up any where we liked. Nearer the stream is non electric and ideal for tents or motorhomes some areas have gravel hardstandings, but we have always preferred grass.
Everywhere you look, the campsite is beautiful, with hills and trees and streams. It is very idyllic and as it was April, the lambs in the field behind our caravan were a delight to watch and hear.
The toilets and showers were very clean and you pay 50p for a token that gets you 5 minutes of a lovely hot shower. There are washing up areas and a laundrette. The reception sells very basic items but you are only 3 miles from Harlech which has a biggish One Stop and Barmouth in the opposite direction has a Co-op for a larger shop.
We originally booked for 3 nights, but managed to book an extra 6 nights before we came and we were so pleased we did as although we like to relax on our hols, we also like to travel and see some of the surrounding area.
Snowdonia is amazingly beautiful and if you have never been before, I cannot recommend it highly enough. Me and my husband both agreed that it turned out to be in our top 3 of holidays we have taken since we started caravanning 4 years ago.
We will definitely be back and are already planning to book for next year, and we have never been to the same campsite twice so that shows how highly we thought of this campsite and area.

Motorhome - Grass Touring Pitches Oct 2024 Such a beautiful and peaceful campsite. Has four different walks straight from the site, all of which are amazing. Can go for a bit of cold water swimming in the waterfalls. Toilets and showers were working and clean, available 24/7.
The owners are so kind and helpful. Thankyou for a wholesome weekend!

Large Tent - Grass Camping Pitches Sep 2024 Comfortable site, spacious pitches (although you can’t guarantee someone won’t come along and pitch right next to you), great bathroom facilities, nice and clean. Ice cream sold at the shop and lovely walks around the site. I had a very relaxing stay.

I stayed with my dog through the week. It got a bit busier on the Friday, so I could imagine that it would quieter to stay away from grid/Saturdays. I fully recommend Nantcols site.

Motorhome - Grass Touring Pitches Sep 2024 We have just got back from 3 nights and it was beautiful! We didn't want to leave and will be returning! Location is fantastic, with a waterfall and ankle high stream on site. The facilities were spotless.
I would say make sure to pack plenty of the necessities as the shop does not stock much and the nearest is a good 50 minute walk away.
If you want somewhere that gives you no choice but to put technology away (no signal) and just enjoy your surroundings, this is definitely for you!

Set in a lovely location but bring everything you need as there's nothing nearby. My type of place but not going to be for everyone. Very good value for money.

VW-Type Campervan - Grass Touring Pitches Sep 2024 Super helpful staff. Idyllic location. We had sheep grazing on the hillside beside us, rabbits sharing the fields and small birds keeping us company.
Walked up beside waterfalls for a cracking view and another brisk stroll to local village, shops, cafe, pub and restaurant. Would highly recommend.
A gem of a find
Bell Tent - 5m Bell Tents Sep 2024 Fantastic hosts and very friendly. The site is well spaced out and in a lovely location. Our bell tent was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfy. We had a fridge, kettle and toaster in there.
Excellent facilities and very clean. We will definitely be back.
A must visit
VW-Type Campervan - Grass Touring Pitches Aug 2024 Have just been and spent the bank holiday here, I can say it is a must visit. The site is very clean, tidy, and well maintained.
On site facilities are again very clean with everything you need close to the camping areas.
The staff on arrival were very friendly and helpful. The check in process was very quick and easy.
The location is stunning, with plenty of walks around the local area and up past the waterfalls that run through the site. Kids loved swimming in the stream, hours of fun to be had.

Motorhome - Grass Touring Pitches Jul 2024 Lovely camp. Although weather wasn't good when we stayed, so accessing the waterfalls was dangerous in parts. I imagine the need for good weather, but still a lovely camp with excellent bathroom facilities x
