The staff went above and beyond

From the moment we arrived, the site was immaculate. The pool was warn and clean. Showers were a lovely layout with individual shower/ toilet for each person within a larger block. We had teens who played in the games room. We watched the Wales football game in the bar and had delicious scones. As a regular wheelchair, user I was pleasantly surprised at how accessible everything was. We arrived late Friday and realised our power cable wasn't working. The staff were so helpful and lent us one of theirs for our stay. Every member of staff made us feel welcome and wanted. We can't thank them enough. We loved the atmosphere of the site.

Great site!

First time staying here and booking was done very last minute too - in hindsight, I was amazed that there was any availability over the Bank Holiday weekend as this is such a lovely site. Great facilities - clubhouse/restaurant, outdoor heated swimming pool, play area for kids, secure dog field, two toilet & shower blocks. Really friendly and informative welcome on arrival, lovely sized pitch and campsite all quiet by 10:30 - cannot think of anything negative about our stay, we really enjoyed!

Lovely site

Lovely site. Perfect mix of back to nature camping, and facilities on site. Good ground for the pegs. Immaculate W/C facilities. They did leave a bucket there to mop up after yourselves and most people did. Lovely welcome. Gorgeous views. Pool area could do with a refresh. Lovely little bar/restaurant on site. We did not eat there but enjoyed a beverage. Most arcade games were out of order. As were the closer toilets, which would have been easier to reach with small kids. Apart from that, 10/10.

Nice, quiet site

Great holiday

First night wasn't the best weather. We stayed in a tent but we stayed 3 nights in the end. Staff were very friendly, toilets and showers were clean, pool was great. Didn't have food here but looked nice. Would stay again, we all had a good time. The entertainment singers were fab.

Great stay

Fabulous stay here. Beautiful quiet location. Staff very friendly. Very clean and nice pitch. Pool was lovely and warm. Only downside were the wasps which were a bit annoying but otherwise, we had a brilliant time. Would benefit from a little shop. :)

Great stay with Grandkids

Really enjoyed our stay. Brought 4 grandkids with us and they had a good time too. The staff were very friendly and helpful with any needs. Definitely be back!

Friendly family site

The staff are really welcoming and friendly from the time of arrival and throughout your stay. The site has a club house that has an area at the back that allows dogs. Food is available from the club house and although we didn't use it for food, we saw plenty of people who did. The swimming pool with seating around it allows you to supervise your little ones safely. There is a games room with pool table to keep kids/adults entertained. There are 2 x toilet/shower blocks on the tourer side, one which has a disabled shower room. The block with the disabled room is the better block for showering as you have your own shower, toilet and sink in the room, whereas the other block has separate amenities. There are plenty of bins for dog waste around the site and a large field for games. We had heavy rain and wind when we were there and the next morning, staff and owners were going around the site checking that guests and their equipment were safe and well. I would recommend this site for families. Only downside is that in the site rules, it does state that children should be supervised when using the toilet/shower blocks but I noticed that this didn't happen, with many young children using the area alone and in small groups, which resulted in some of the toilets being left dirty and unusable until they were cleaned. This was not the site's fault and also difficult for parents to supervise if their children have gone to play with their new found friends. Overall, a good site that is family friendly and dog friendly.

Honest opinion

Lovely campsite and friendly staff. Spotless toilet/shower facilities and great location! Shop is a little drive down the road as there is not one on site, which we wasn't aware of. Very quiet site with no entertainment really. We felt too loud for the place.

Family stay

A lovely site with spotless toilet and shower facilities. A great bar and lovely food with really friendly and helpful staff. A good outdoor pool for all. The only negative point was the very muddy pitches. Maybe if we forewarned about the mud, we could have negotiated a better pitch. This aside, we all had a lovely time.

Fantastic find, real friendly

I stayed here by chance and what a find. A very very nice site, with the most amazingly friendly staff who could not do enough for you. Will 100% be visiting again.

Could be great

This site has lots of potential, the toilets are so clean but they only had one block open. We had lots of issues with parties, loud music and singing until 2am. The first night, the staff went and visited them 3 times and we heard someone had been sent home. The second night the same, but nothing was done. Half of the games in the arcade didn't work. The pool was so lovely and heated and nice play area, my 4 year old was happy. There's activities in the club house for kids and adults which was nice like a kids disco. Food was just ok there, expensive but ok. Overall, we did have a lovely time (except the lack of sleep!) and we would go back.
