Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Stayed here with friends for our annual trip out. Great location and lovely campsite. Tom is an excellent host.
Will be visiting again soon.
An amazing place Recommends site
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 The campsite was in such a beautiful setting, the facilities were excellent, and the pitches were great (each with a fire pit).
I couldn't recommend this place more highly.
Tom was also a delight and gave lots of great recommendations.
Great stay Recommends site
Roof Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 Amazing location outside Tenby.
Will stay again.
All great Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 Just a lovely site. Great facilities, and very welcoming.
Great quiet site Recommends site
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 Great little site easily walking to Lydstep along lovely coastal walk.
Nice rustic feel in the facilities and very clean. Great addition of the wood fired pizza over.
Tom was friendly and easy going. Good site for last minute or late bookings as Tom is happy for people to rock up and pay on site once there if there's pitches available.
Nice size pitches and the yurt and clamping on the other field looked lovely although that's not where we stayed as we pitched out own.
Little piece of heaven Recommends site
Shepherd's Hut - Frankshore Shepherd's Hut with Hot Tub Jun 2025 Absolutely loved our time staying in the Frankshore shepherds hut. The hut was well equipped and spotlessly clean. The surroundings were amazing, the hot tub was a lovely addition, which we used every evening.
The cafe and shop had plenty of offerings and the breakfast we had was delicious and the cakes and bakes were mouthwatering.
Easy access to the coastal path where the views were breathtaking. Tom was an amazing host and 100% will be back for another visit.
Already recommended to friends, thank you Tom for making a memorable break, we loved every minute and so did our dogs 10/10.

Hi Janette, Thanks so much for your kind words! Look forward to welcoming you again soon. Kind regards, Tom.
Absolutely brilliant Recommends site
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 My first non-festival camping experience and it was excellent.
I was impressed with the layout of the site which was very well looked after and was immaculately clean throughout my stay. Excellent facilities especially the showers and general cleaning areas.
Location, 2 miles from Tenby was excellent with great walks a couple of minutes from the actual site.
There is a well stocked farm shop probably 15/20 minutes walk away which doubles as a superb cafe/food outlet.
The owner was on site at regular intervals throughout my stay and was very helpful and ensured all my needs, which weren't much, were met.
I simply had a brilliant time.
Great weekend Recommends site
Yurt - Barafundle Yurt with Hot Tub Apr 2025 We've just come back from a 3 night stay in the Barafundle Yurt. It was a great experience, the Yurt is beautiful and the log burner makes for a really cosy evening.
The barbecue and hot tub is right outside, and the toilet and shower are very clean. Tom was great and anything we needed, he was available to sort. Bubbleton Farm shop offers great food (breakfast and lunch) and a great choice of meats to cook on the BBQ.
We will definitely return for another weekend! Thank you x
Lovely place Recommends site
Shepherd's Hut - Frankshore Shepherd's Hut with Hot Tub Feb 2025 This was a lovely two day stay in the heart of Tenby. We had a lovely cooked breakfast from the cafe on site. Would recommend anyone to stay here.
Peaceful and idyllic Recommends site
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Had a super relaxing stay. Good amenities. Clean and tidy. Plenty of space between pitches. Recycling facilities are excellent.
Staff amazing. Would heartily recommend without hesitation.
A fantastic find Recommends site
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2024 Exceptional campsite - such a gem! Absolutely loved staying here with my dog for a few nights. Super friendly, immaculately clean facilities and well spaced huge pitches. Fantastic location, you can walk straight onto the coastal path. Will definitely be back.
Perfect get away in a lovely, rural private setting Recommends site
Shepherd's Hut - Frankshore Shepherd's Hut with Hot Tub Jul 2024 The Shepherd's Hut was situated in it's own field. The cows were around and curious, but kept separate by a fence. We had a fire pit and a small stove. It's really close to an off grid experience, quiet and picturesque. We didn't want to leave!
A really relaxing break with lots of walking opportunities on the coastal path that you can join across the field from the campsite - great for exploring. Wonderful breakfasts and produce can be bought in the farm shop. It's a really lovely place and one I will be definitely coming back to.
Lovely, chilled site Recommends site
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2024 The amount of space per tent is amazing, any other site would have put two tents in our pitch. The toilets, showers and wash-up areas are clean, the single, detached shower is brilliant. There are fire pits at each pitch, and a wooden burning pizza oven on site. There are a couple of hammocks hung in the trees.
The site is on the cliff walk from Tenby to Manorbier, but out of the wind. There is a train track alongside the site, but the trains are low frequency and quiet. The farm shop is easily walkable for bits you need, but fairly dear, everything is artisan. The food in the cafe is great.
It's a good base to get out around Pembrokeshire, see some beaches and castles. I love this site and intend to return.
Birthday trip Recommends site
Bell Tent - Fresh West Bell Tent (6m) May 2024 Spontaneous birthday trip away did not disappoint. Tom was very welcoming on arrival and we were treated to a very quiet site in our particular dates. Toilet facilities extremely clean and shower was fantastic. Bell tent was an added treat and very comfortable. Fantastic location to coastal path.
In a word brilliant Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2024 Brilliant. Quiet, serene, beautifully green in both meanings of the word. Big group there at the weekend but they were completely quiet by 11pm - reasonable enough. Trains passing were interesting, not disturbing. Staff/ owners couldn't be better. Views and sunsets from the headland were spectacular. Highly recommended.
A week in a yurt with family Yurt - Barafundle Yurt with Hot Tub Aug 2023 We stayed in the Barafundle yurt for 7 nights. It worked well for our 4 and 6 year olds who found it all so unique and exciting.
The yurt is well placed by completely open space looking out onto green fields. Plenty of space for kids to run around and parents to go on stunning coastal jogs! Really nice that we had our own shower and toilet and the water was always warm. I especially enjoyed the wood burner and view of the cows grazing every night from my bed.
We also loved the farm shop and café which served excellent food and coffee, and the opportunity to feed the animals was a massive plus for my kids. My only suggestions for improvement would be to have some spare sheets in a drawer as that would have been handy when my son wet the bed/spending a whole week there (I hand washed instead). Also some lids for the pots provided as it would speed up cooking times.
Also, there was more noise than expected coming from the main camping area at night for such a small place, which was a shame.
All in all, an amazing experience though and would come back again!
Fab weekend in June! Recommends site
Yurt - Barafundle Yurt with Hot Tub Jun 2023 Fabulous setting with well set out tents. Great that there was a farm shop that also served excellent breakfasts and lunches. Site was close to Tenby and it was brilliant just to be able to walk out of the field and be on the coastal path. We were very pleased to support the Greener Camping ethos at Becks Bay and the personal touch of a visit from the owner was much appreciated thanks Tom.
So lovely Recommends site
Bell Tent - Bell Tents (5m) Jun 2023 What an amazing place. It helped that the weather was gorgeous, but it's in a fab location, tonnes of space, great facilities, lovely host, great farm shop and a café a short stroll away.
A stone's throw from the coastal path, 5 mins drive to Tenby - just fantastic.
Fabulous concept and stay Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2023 On arrival, Tom guided us to a lovely spot for our campervan stay.
The location had coastal path walks along the Pembrokeshire way into Tenby and beyond. A lovely farm shop was 200 metres away.
Recycling and being green is uppermost on this site and they do this simply and effectively. The toilets and washing facilities are clean, but the large shower made out of recycled materials is lush.
Good site in the summer Recommends site
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2022 Stayed one night. As there was heavy rain and severe high winds, along with engineer trains running alongside, I pulled up my tent and left for home.
Glamping Recommends site
Bell Tent - Sand Top Bell Tent (5m) Sep 2022 Thank you guys again for a great stay.
Just what the wife and I needed. The pup also loved it.
Happy glamping Recommends site
Yurt - Barafundle Yurt with Hot Tub Aug 2022 Lovely setting, spacious yurt with 'private toilet and shower'. Eco friendly, lovely site within walking distance of two spectacular beaches along the Pembrokeshire coastal path. No electricity as eco friendly but this wasn't a concern for us at all. Tom, the owner, was lovely and very accommodating.
I think the only downside to this was the proximity of the yurt and the main campsite which was quite busy and noisy at night (not a huge problem for us) however for the amount we paid, I would have expected a little more exclusivity. Our yurt had its own private toilet and shower which was clearly sign posted however other members of the campsite were taking no notice of the signs and just helping themselves to them as and when they liked. Was the reason we booked and paid over £500 for 4 nights, so was a bit annoying people taking advantage, again no fault of the site or the owner just other people.
Lovely place, thanks Tom!
Site's response
Thanks for your feedback, and thanks for staying with us at Becks Bay. Our camping meadow only has 14 pitches so we do not normally find much noise, that said a weekend in August can produce noise from guests sitting around a campfire etc. We have never had any issues with guests using the shower and toilet set on next to the 'Barafundle yurt', so thanks for letting us know - I offered to provide you with a lock for your facilities but you let me know that it wasn't really an issue. On the subject of pricing at £140 per night in peak summer holidays is very cheap for a yurt in the Tenby area. Our neighbours and other yurt providers do charge significantly more. Tom
