Clear filters Convenient and just what we needed
VW-Type Campervan - Gravel Pitches (No Awnings) Jun 2024 This was a lovely site. VERY helpful man showed us to our pitch on arrival, a quick, brief but concise, run through of everything. Lovely trees, beautiful views.
Big shower block, good little shop, lots of water points and easy bins.
Would be nice if there was a dog area for a night time run around (there is a children's football pitch, which I guess is handy for parents, but I'd prefer it if it had been a dog walking area!) Lovely idea of a coffee and breakfast truck but didn't get to try it as was too busy and not so speedy.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 What an excellent little site, wasn't expecting such a good site as this when I booked as it was only £10 per night for a two man tent and motorcycle.
The site was very clean and well laid out, with a new men's shower block. A trailer serving breakfast baps and coffee in the morning was very popular.
Most importantly the staff were very friendly, could not do enough to help and recommended local services.
Have no hesitation in saying this is the best site I've stayed at in a long time, a great vibe to it.

Facilities are spotless, the camp itself is perfect
Can't wait to book again and stay for longer.
Great site
VW-Type Campervan - Gravel Pitches (No Awnings) May 2024 Great campsite - we had an electric pitch for our VW Transporter and really enjoyed our stay. The site was nicely spaced out and facilities were good - clean toilets and showers, lots of water points. The coffee truck and pizza pop ups were a great addition and the shop was nicely stocked. The location was ideal for heading to Hay Festival, and we spent one day on a door-to-door hike into the Black Mountains and along the Beacons Way.

VW-Type Campervan - Gravel Pitches (No Awnings) May 2024 Lovely campsite just north of Crickhowell, in a beautiful location. Staff were really friendly and the site had a great feel to it. On-site mobile coffee bar selling bacon sandwiches, muffins etc.

Motorhome - Gravel Pitches (Awnings) May 2024 What a stunning place to stay. Amazing staff who were attentive and made us feel very welcome! They have everything that you need and the surrounding area is great if you fancy walking.
We will definitely be returning in the summertime.

Only thing that reduced this from a five was the busy road at the bottom of the site, but this may not affect you if higher up the site.
Facilities really clean and plenty of them.

VW-Type Campervan - Gravel Pitches (Awnings) May 2024 Welcoming and friendly staff. Clean site with hot showers. Good hikes around and the staff pass on knowledge of what's around.
Will definitely go back again.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches May 2024 We received a great welcome from the owner who showed us to our pitch and explained what facilities were available, she was also able to advise us about Pen Y Fan walks which is why we were in Cwmdu.

Motorhome - Gravel Pitches (Awnings) May 2024 We enjoyed our stay, on arrival we were greeted personally and given a friendly welcome. Site is a little remote so you have to drive to get to the closest village. Site was clean and staff very helpful, providing local maps which allowed us to have a great walk from the site - really enjoyed our visit.

Motorhome - Grass Touring Pitches (Awnings) May 2024 Me, my partner and dog stayed in May for 2 nights in our motorhome and the campsite was beautiful. The toilets and cleaning facilities were extremely clean and the on site staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful. Cannot wait to return again in the summer. Highly recommend!!!

On checking in you are shown to your pitch, not just here is a map and x marks the spot. The loos are excellent. Clean and fresh. Showers big and plenty of hot water. Will be back soon.
Nice site but shame about the road
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches May 2024 Nice campsite with lovely clean facilities. Good sized tent pitches and reasonably priced. Only down side was the proximity of the main road on the lower field, which was noisy and lots of night road lights that took away from the otherwise lovely location. Nice pub 5 mins down the road. Loved the mobile pizza on the Friday night and pint of the local beer from the on site pop up.

Friday pizza truck is amazing when turning up on a Friday. Chris, one of the owners, was really helpful and attentive. If you are lower down the hill, the road noise is more noticeable, but we could barely hear it and we were only one tree line back.

Single Axle Caravan - Gravel Pitches (Awnings) May 2024 A warm welcome when we arrived. Very helpful from our hosts. A well run and well maintained site. Great facilities with an excellent shower and toilet arrangement. A credit to the owners, Sarah and Calvin. A very friendly atmosphere with excellent pitches. The views were exceptional. Fridge and freezer facilities for campsite users too. The reception-come-shop, catered for every need, a veritable Aladdins cave. The pop up cafe with pizza on the Friday is an excellent idea and well used. A top caravan and camping site, which is a credit to the owners and wardens. We would love to come again.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Grass Covered Hardstanding Pitches (Awnings) May 2024 This was an excellent discovery for 3 nights and only wish it had been longer. Pre arrival information was excellent, telling us which lanes to avoid. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the facilities very good. Highly recommended.

Camping Pod - Log Pod Apr 2024 This has to be the cleanest campsite I have ever stayed in. Add to that the facilities within the pod (tea/coffee/kettle, microwave, fridge). It was beyond expectation. The welcome was pleasant and helpful and the shop is very well stocked. The coffee and croissant van was a bonus.
