Great site, with luxury feel showers and toilets

Great site. Very modern and clean showers and toilets, open all hours. Large site, quiet. Child friendly with a playing green and footie goals.

Brilliant!

A really nice time away at this delightful place! Signposted very well from the main road to the site, and then once around the site, sign posting continued to be very clear and helpful. The pod was brilliant, very clean, laid out well with great facilities inside. The bed was very comfortable; the 'egg chair' was great to sit in as well and just look across at the expansive green fields and the forest in the distance. The hot tub was great and on all the time - I used it everyday. Shame the weather was a little bit cold, but the big glass doors meant you could sit inside and be warm, whilst still having a great view. A lot of care and thought has gone into planning the site and the seeing steps for expansion yet providing privacy for users. I loved staying here and hope to return later in the year (hopefully when it is a bit warmer!).

Good

We enjoyed our stay, good roads and easy access for towing a caravan for my first time. Kids enjoyed it to and being close to Twycross Zoo is a bonus. Toilet and shower are lovely but showers were hot.

Great campsite

Great flat campsite with amazing toilet and shower facilities.

Fantastic site!

Just returned from a fantastic weekend camping at Gopsall Hall Farm. A great site with a fantastic atmosphere, lovely clean facilities and endless wholesome fun for kids. We visited the pop up pub to watch the Coronation with a Pimms, the owners went out of their way to get it shown on the big screen and even the terrible weather couldn’t have spoilt the atmosphere there! A fantastic weekend from start to finish and I really can’t recommend this site highly enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you Gopsall, we will be back!

Family trip

Good stay with family of 4. Grass pitches and although it was still damp, the staff there used their 4x4 to push our van onto the pitch. Bit of an issue with power on our 1st night, but by morning, national grid were onsite and fixed the trip issue. Again, the staff were excellent and not their fault. Lots of nice walks in area and pop up bar was great touch.

Beautiful stay!

This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. The pod exceeded our expectations. The owners have clearly spent a lot of time and effort creating very well equipped accommodation. There were lots of pretty personal touches with flowers and decor that really made our stay feel luxurious. The hot tub was on and ready to use at the perfect temperature. The members of staff we met were really courteous and helpful. Will will definitely return.

Great campsite!

Campsite is lovely. Pitches pretty big and good amenities on site. Great toilet block and showers on site. We were two families with young children and happy to let them roam around the top field. Not too near any shops etc to walk to but perfect location to explore local area and visit Twycross Zoo if you have transport.

Our short stay

Lovely setting, spotless bathroom facilities with plenty of hot water. Maybe could do with more electric points as wires had to go across where people walked, a bit of a hazard at night. Possibly needs Wi-Fi but only a personal preference. Convenient facilities in one place. Will be amazing when site is complete. Would recommend this site.

Peaceful

This is a lovely place to stay. Plenty of lovely scenery, new showers and toilets are immaculate. Not much for the kids to do, unless you drove out the site.

Amazing

2 night stay here. Amazing brand new facilities, toilets, showers. Pitch sizes great. Perfect location for Drayton manor and Twycross Zoo.

Many good points- a few not so good

Nice campsite in rural area. Should have been perfect, except for the bell tents in the adjoining field, where each night seemed to be a party night. The toilet and shower facilities are great. The washing up area design precludes a second person reaching the draining board to do the drying up, and there's an odd step up to the sink which is awkward. It is obviously still being built, though, so perhaps this will all be rectified in due course. Otherwise, a lovely spot.

Hello, we apologise about the loud bell tent guests. This is unusual and once we received information that there was excessive noise coming from there, we took immediate action. We cannot control guests but we can clearly set rules and address situations as soon as they occur, which is exactly what we did. The odd step points feels a little picky, but once this was pointed out to us by a customer, we addressed it immediately by installing slabs leading up to it. Again, if the odd step takes our rating down from a 5 to a 3.8 we are somewhat baffled, but thank you!

Will be back!

First time staying and will be back. Although, there was no reception as it's being built - we still had a great time. It could do with a little pop up shop or a vending machine just in case. Also, the only other issue was there were no sanitary bins in the ladies toilets. The showers were hot and very secure and the pitches were great sizes so you weren't squashed. Couldn't complain given the value for money. As I said, we will defo be back.

A great site

I would highly recommend this site. The facilities are very clean and modern. They are developing the site to make it even nicer so will definitely return. We loved the pop-up pub.

Lovely stay

Had a lovely stay, clean and tidy, plenty of space for kids to play. There was building work going on while we stayed but it didn't interfere with our stay. Only thing would say is it started very early in the morning. Would definitely recommend this site and looking forward to returning once work has finished.

Thank you for the review, I can confirm that any building work will not be starting early. At time of writing, it is more or less finished, but we will continue to make site enhancements as we want to be the best! :-)

My stay

My first time camping and was pleasantly surprised. The site is undergoing work and I can see it's going to be lovely, the only issue I had was that the workmen started really early (7am) making it a bit uncomfortable when using the bathroom facilities. Can't fault the area, it was lovely

Lovely little site

It was a lovely little site, very quiet at night. Facilities were very clean and the pitch was a decent size. My only concern was that the pitches weren't marked out, so I was a bit concerned about overlapping someone else's pitch- it could do with some markers to let you know where your pitch starts and ends, but overall a very nice place to stay.
